in gitaoan ke sanbandh mean yah kahane se bhi koee hani nahian ki ve isiliye rachi gee haian ki kisi vishisht panth ya vishishh‍t puran mean bhagavadgita ke saman ek-adh gita ke rahe bina us panth ya puran ki poornata nahian ho sakati thi. jis tarah shribhagavan ne bhagavadgita mean arjun ko vishh‍varoop dikhakar jnan batalaya hai usi tarah shiv gita, devi gita aur ganesh gita mean bhi varnan hai. shiv gita, eeshvar gita adi mean to bhagavadgita ke anek shlok aksharash: paye jate haian. yadi jnan ki drishti se dekha jaye to in sab gitaoan mean bhagavadgita ki apeksha kuchh visheshata nahian haian; aur, bhagavadgita mean adhyatmajnan aur karm ka mel kar dene ki jo apoorv shaili hai vah kisi bhi any gita mean nahian hai. bhagavadgita mean patanjal yog athava hath yog aur karm tyag roop sannyas ka yathochit varnan n dekh kar, usaki poorti ke liye, krishnarjun sanvad ke roop mean, kisi ne uth‍tar gita pichhe se likh dali hai. avadhoot aur ashtavakr adi gita bilakul ek deshiy haian kyoanki inamean keval sannyas-marg ka hi pratipadan kiya gaya hai. yam gita aur paandav gita to keval bhakti-vishayak sankshipt stotroan ke saman hai. shiv gita, ganesh gita aur soory gita aisi nahian hai.
yadyapi inamean jnan aur karm ke samuchchay ka yukti yukt samarthan avashh‍y kiya gaya hai tathapi inamean navinata kuchh bhi nahian hai, kyoanki yah vishay prayah bhagavadgita se hi liya gaya hai. in karanoan se bhagavadgita ke ganbhir tatha vyapak tej ke samane bad ki bani huee koee bhi pauranik gita thahar nahian saki aur in nakali gitaoan se ulta bhagavadgita ka hi mahattv adhik badh gaya hai. yahi karan hai ki ‘bhagavadgita’ ka ‘gita’ nam prachalit ho gaya hai. adhyatm ramayan aur yog vasishth yadyapi vistrit granth haian to bhi ve pichhe bane haian aur yah bat unaki rachana se hi spasht maloom ho jati hai. madras ka ‘guru jnan vasishth tattvasarayan’ namak granth kee ek ke matanusar bahut prachin hai; parantu ham aisa nahian samajhate; kyoanki usamean 108 upanishadoan ka ullekh hai jinaki prachinata siddh nahian ho sakati. soory gita mean vishishtaddhait mat ka ullekh paya jata hai[1] aur kee sthanoan mean bhagavadgita hi ka yuktivad hi liya hua ka jan p data hai.[2] isaliye yah granth bhi bahut pichhe se- shrishankarachary ke bhi bad banaya gaya hoga.
anek gitaoan ke hone par bhi bhagavadgita ki shreshthata nirvivad siddh hai. isi karan uttarakalin vaidik dharmiy panditoan ne, any gitaoan par adhik dhyan nahian diya aur ve bhagavadgita hi ki pariksha karane aur usi ke tattv apane bandhuoan ko samajha dene mean,apani krit krityata manane lage. granth ki do prakar se pariksha ki jati hai. ek aantarang-pariksha aur doosari bahirang-pariksha kahalati hai. poore granth ko dekh kar usake marm, rahasy aur pramey ko dhooandh nikalana 'aantarang-pariksha' hai.
