kyoanki is varg ke log charvak ke matanusar yah nahian kahate ki samaj-dharan ke liye niti ke bandhanoan ki kuchh avashyakata hi nahian hai; kiantu in logoan ne apani vichar-drishti se is bat ka karan batalaya hai ki sabhi logoan ko niti ka palan kyoan karana chahiye. inaka kahana yah hai ki,yadi is bat ko sookshm vichar kiya jaye ki sansar mean ahiansa- dharm kaise nikala aur log usaka palan kyoan karate haian, to yahi maloom hoga ki, aise svarthamoolak bhay ke siva usaka kuchh doosara adikaran nahian haian, jo is vaky se pragat hota hai- “yadi maian logoan ko marooanga to ve mujhe bhi mar daleange, aur phir mujhe apane sukhoan se hath dhona p dega.’’ ahiansa-dharm ke anusar hi any sab dharm bhi isi ya aise hi svarthamoolak karanoan se prachalit hue haian. hamean duahkh hua to ham rote haian aur doosaroan ko hua to hamean daya ati hai. kyoan isiliye n, ki hamare man mean yah dar paida hota hai ki kahian bhavishy mean hamari bhi aisi hi duahkhamay avastha n ho jaye.

paropakar, udarata, daya, mamata, kritajnata, namrata, mitrata ityadi jo gun logoan ke sukh ke liye avashyak maloom hote haian ve sab- yadi unaka moolasvaroop dekha jay to- apane hi duahkh- nivaranarth haian koee kisi ki sahayata karata hai ya koee kisi ko dan deta hai; kyoan isaliye n, ki jab ham par bhi a bitegi tab ve hamari sahayata kareange. ham any logoan par isaliye pyar rakhate haian ki ve bhi ham par pyar karean.aur kuchh nahi to, hamare man mean achchha kahalane ka svarthamoolak hetu avashy rahata hai. paropakar aur pararth donoan shabd keval bhraantimoolak haian. yadi kuchh sachcha hai to svarth; aur svarth kahate haian apane liye sukh-prapti ya apane duahkh nivaran ko. mata bachche ko doodh pilati hai, isaka karan yah nahian hai kivah bachche par prem rakhati hai; sachcha karan to yahi hai ki usake stanoan mean doodh ke bhar jane se use jo duahkh hota hai use kam karane ke liye, athava bhavishy mean yahi l daka mujhe pyar karake sukh dega is svarth-siddhi ke liye hi, vah bachche ko doodh pilati hai.

is bat ko doosare varg ke adhibhautikavadi manate haian ki svayan apane hi sukh ke liye kyoan n ho, parantu bhavishy par drishti rakhakar, aise nitidharm ka palan karana chahiye ki jisase doosaroan ko bhi sukh ho- bas, yahi is mat mean aur charvak ke mat mean bhed hai. tathapi charvak- mat ke anusar is mat mean bhi yah mana jata hai ki manushy keval vishay- sukharoop svarth ke saanche me dhala hua ek putala haian. iangalaiand mean ha‌‍bs aur phraans mean helveshiyas ne is mat ka pratipadan kiya hai. parantu is mat ke anuyayi ab n to iangh‍laiandamean hi haian aur n kahian bahar hi adhik milegean. habs ke nitidharm ki is upapatti ke prasiddh hone par batalar[1] sarikhe vidvanoan ne usaka khandan karake siddh kiya ki manushy- svabhav keval svarthi nahian hai; svarth ke saman hi usamean janm se hi bhoot- daya , prem, kritajnata adi sadgun bhi kuchh aansh mean rahate haian. isaliye kisi vyavahar ya karm ka naitik drishti se vichar karate samay keval svarth ya dooradarshi svarth ki or hi dhyan n dekar, manushy- svabhav ke do svabhavik gunoan (arthat svarth or pararth) ki or nity dhyan dena chahiye.
