39. esha tabhihita saankhye buddhiryoge tvimaan shrrinu.
buddhadhya yukto yaya parth karmabandhan prahasyasi ॥

(39)he parth (arjun), yah maianne tujhe saankhy ka jnan bataya hai. ab too yog ka jnan sun. is jnan ko grahan karake too karm ke bandhanoan ko pare pheank dega. gita mean sakhy shabd se abhipray saankhyadarshan ki pranali se nahian hai aur n yog ka hi arth patanjal yog hai. saankhy ke darshanik sampraday mean spasht roop lyoothar se tulana kijeah ’’aur bhale hi ve hamara jivan, vastuean pratishtha, bachche aur stri, sab-kuchh chhin lean, phir bhi unaka labh tho da hi hai; ye sab vastuean vinasht ho jaeangi, parantu paramatma ka nagar phir bhi bana rahega.’’ se purush (atma ) aur prakriti (anatma) ke dvait ko sthapit kiya gaya hai, parantu gita usake oopar uth gee hai aur isamean ek paramatma ki vastavikata ka pratipadan kiya gaya hai, jo sabaka svami hai. saankhy aparivartanashil paramatma ki sphurana ka bauddhik vivaran prastut karata hai. [1]yah jnanayog hai. kary ka yog karmayog hai. dekhie 3, 3. ab tak jis jnan par aur ichchha ke parityag par jor deta hai aur yog karm par 1 jo is bat ko janata hai ki atma aur sharir prithakh haian, ki atma avinashvar hai aur sansar ki ghatanaoan se vichalit nahian hota, use kis prakar ka acharan karana chahie? yahaan par guru krishn buddhiyog ka, arthath buddhi ya samajh ko ekagr karane ka, vikas karata hai. buddhi keval dharanaoan ko bachane ki kshamata-bhar nahian hai. ise pahachanane aur vastuoan mean vibhed karane ka kary karana p data hai. samajh ya buddhi ko is prakar prashikshit kiya jana chahie ki usase antadrihshti, sthirata aur samata (anukool aur pratikool vastu mean samatv ka bhav) prapt ho sake. man ka sambandh indriyoan se ho, isake bajay man ko buddhi dvara marg dikhaya jana chahie, jo ki man ki apeksha uchchatar hai. 3,42. man ko buddhi ke sath jo da jana chahie (buddhiyukt).
yahaan shastriy saankhyadarshan ka, jo ki gita ke samay nirman ki dasha mean tha, prabhav spasht dikhaee p data hai. isake anusar purush nishkriy hai aur vastutah usaka bandhan aur mukti se koee vasta nahian hai. bandhan aur moksh moolatah buddhi ke kary haian. yah buddhi chaubis mool tattvoan mean se ek hai. prakriti mean se kramashah bhautik tattv ki paanch tatvik dashaoan ka- akash, vayu, agni, jal, prithvi ka- aur bhautik tattv ke paanch sookshy gunoan ka- shabd, sparsh, roop,svad, gandh ka- aur tatha buddhi ya mahath ka, jo jnan aur sankalp ka vibhedak tattv hai tatha aanhakar ya ’maian’ ki bhavana ka aur dasoan indriy-sambandhi krityoan-paanch jnanendriyoan aur paanch karmendriyoan ke krityoan- ke sath man ka vikas hota hai. jab buddhi purush prakriti ke bhed ko hridayangam kar leti hai, tab mukti prapt ho jati hai. is drishtikon ko gita ke eeshvaravad ke anukool dhal liya gaya hai. buddhi sharir-roopi rath ka sarathi hai. is rath ko indriyoan ke ghode़ khianch rahe haian, jinaki rasoan ko man sanbhale hue hai. atma buddhi ke oopar hai, parantu vah keval nishkriy sakshimatr hai. kathopanishadh mean buddhi ko sarathi bataya gaya hai, jo man dvara indriyoan ka niyantran karati hai aur use atma ko janane mean samarth banati hai. [2] yadi buddhi atma ki chetana se prakashit ho uthe aur use apane jivan ka prerak prakash bana le, to usaka margadarshan vishv ke prayojan ke sath samasvar ho jaega. yadi atma ka prakash buddhi mean samuchit roop se pratiphalit hota ho, arthath yadi buddhi sab malin karane vali pravrittiyoan se svachchh kar di jae to vah prakash vikrit nahian hoga aur buddhi ka atma ke sath mel rahega. aanhakar aur prithakatv ki bhavanaean us samasvarata ke darshan se samapt ho jaeangi. jisamean pratyek vastu sabamean aur sab vastuean pratyek mean vidyaman haian. gita mean saankhy aur yog paraspar bemel pranaliyaan nahian haian. unaka uddeshy ek hi hai, parantu unaki paddhatiyaan bhinn haian.
