achchhaee avesh aur nishkriyata (sattv, raj aur tam)

5.sattvan rajastam iti gunaah prakritisambhavaah.
nibadhnanti mahabaho dehe dehinamavyayamh॥

he mahabahu (arjun), achchhaee (sattv), avesh (rajash) aur nishkriyata (tamash), ye tinoan gun prakriti se utpann hue haian aur ye anashvar shariri (atma) ko sharir mean baandhakar rakhate haian anashvar atma ko janm aur maran ke chakr mean phansa hua pratit karane vali shakti gunoan ki shakti hai. ve gun ’prakriti ke adyaghatak haian aur sab tattvoan ke adhar haian. isalie unhean in tattvoan mean vidyaman gun nahian kaha ja sakata.’- anandagiri. unhean gun isalie kaha jata hai, kyoanki unaki utpatti saankhy ke purush ya gita ke kshetrajn par ashrit hai. gun prakriti ki tin pravrittiyaan haian ya ve tin dhage haian, jinase prakriti ki rassi bati gee hai. sattv chetana ke prakash ko pratidhvanit karata hai aur usake dvara alokit hota hai aur isalie usaki visheshata chamak (prakash) hai. rajash mean bahirmukh gatividhi (pravritti) hai aur tamash ki visheshata j data (apravritti) aur laparavahi (pramad) hai.[1] sattv poorn vishuddhata aur dyuti hai, jabaki rajash ashuddhata hai, jo ki gatividhi ki or le jati hai aur tamash andhakar evan j data hai. kyoan ki gita mean gunoan ka mukhy roop se vyavahar naitik arth mean kiya gaya hai, isalie hamane sattv ke lie achchhaee, rajash ke lie avesh aur tamash ke lie nishkrayata shabd ka prayog kiya hai.
brahmandiy trait mean in tin gunoan me se ek-ek ka pradhany pratibimbit hai; rakshak vishnu mean sattv ka, srashta brahma mean rajash vishv ki srijanashil gatividhi mean; aur tamash vastuoan ki jirn-shirn hone aur marane ki pravritti ka pratinidhi hai. ye gun sansar ki sthiti, utpatti aur prayal ke lie uttaradayi haian gunoan ka eeshvar ke tin pakshoan par arop is bat ka soochak hai ki eeshvar ka sambandh vastu-roopatmak ya vyakt jagath se hai. paramatma manavata mean usake uddhar ke lie sangharsh kar raha hai, aur devatuly atmaean usake is uddhar ke kary mean usake sath sahayog karati haian.[2]jab atma apane-ap ko prakriti ke gunoan ke sath ek samajhane lagati hai, tab vah apani nityata ko bhool ko bhool jati hai aur man, pran tatha sharir ka upayog ahankarapoorn tripti ke lie karati hai. bandhan se oopar uthane ke lie hamean prakriti ke gunoan se oopar uthana hoga aur trigunatit banana hoga; tab ham atma ke svatantr aur adrishy svabhav ko dharan kar sakeange. tab sattv unnayan (sablimeshan) dvara chetana ka prakash, jyoti ban jata hai, rajash tap ban jata hai aur tamash prashantata ya shanti ban jata hai.

sukhasagen badhnati jnanasangen chanagh॥

inamean se achchhaee (sattv) vishuddh hone ke karan prakash aur svasthy ka karan banati hai. he nishkalank arjun, yah sattv-gun anand aur jnan ke prati asikti ke karan manushy ko badhanta hai. yahaan jnan ka arth nimnatar bauddhik jnan hai. sattv hamean ahanbhav se mukti nahian dilata. yah bhi ichchha utpann karata hai, bhale hi vah ichchha achchhi vastuoan ke lie ho. atma, jo ki sab asaktiyoan se mukt hai, yahaan anand aur jnan ke prati asakt rahati hai. yadi ham ahanbhav ke sath sochana aur kamana karana band n karean, to ham mukt nahian haian. jnan ka sambandh buddhi se hai, jo ki prakriti ki ek upaj hai aur usaki vishuddh chetana se bhinn samajha jana chahie, jo ki atma ka sar-tattv hai.
