33.yoayan yogastvaya proktah samyen madhusoodan.
etasyahan n pashyami chachchalatvasthitian sthiramh॥

madhusoodan (krishna), toone jo samanata (man ki samata) ke svabhav vala vah yog bataya hai, usake lie, chanchalata ke karan, mujhe koee sthir adhar dikhaee nahian p data.

34.chachchalan hi manah krishn pramathi balavaddridham.
tasyahan nigrahan manye vayoriv sudushkaramh॥

he krishn, man bahut hi chanchal hai. yah bahut hi prachand, balavanh aur hathi hai. mujhe to lagata hai ki isako vash mean karana vayu ko vash mean karane ki bhaanti bahut hi kathin hai.

35.asanshayan mahabaho mano durnigrahan chalamh.
abhyasen tu kauntey vairagyen ch grihyate॥

shri bhagavanh ne kahaahhe mahabahu (arjun), nissandeh man ko vash mean karana bahut kathin hai aur yah bahut chanchal hai, phir bhi he kunti ke putr (arjun), ise nirantar abhyas aur vairagy dvara vash mean kiya ja sakata hai.tulana kijie, yogasootr, 1, 12. abhyasavairagyabhyaan tannirodhah. guru yahaan batalata hai ki chanchal man ko yah abhyas p da hota hai ki vah apani pravritti ke anusar kary karata jae, parantu use vairagy [1] aur abhyas dvara niyantrit kiya ja sakata hai.arjun is bat ko anubhav karata hai ki manav-svabhav mean bahut adhik duragrah aur hiansa, uchchhriankhalata aur svarth-sankalp hai. hamara rujhan apane svabhav ke doshoan ki or se aankhean bhianch lene tatha prakash ke prati apane hridayoan ko kathor kar lene ki or hota hai. jis vastu ki avashyakata hai, vah hai tapasya.

36.asanyatatmana yogo dushpray iti me matiah.
vashyatmana tu yatata shakyoavaptumupayatah॥

maian is bat se sahamat hooan ki usake lie yog ko prapt kar pana bahut kathin hai, jisane apane-ap ko sanyat nahian kiya hai. parantu sanyat vyakti ise dridh-sankalp tatha samuchit upayoan dvara prapt kar sakata hai. arjun poochhata hai ki jo atma yog ka prayatn karati hai aur asaphal rahati hai, usaka kya hota hai.parajay asthayi hai: jo bhalibhaanti prarambh karata hai, vah lakshy tak pahuanch jata hai.

37.ayatiah shraddhayopeto yogachchalitamanasah .
apraty yogasansiddhian kaan gatian krishn gachchhati॥

arjun ne kaha: he krishn, jo vyakti shraddhavanh hote hue bhi chanchal man vala hone ke karan apane-ap ko vash mean nahian kar pata hai aur yog mean siddhi prapt nahian kar pata, usaki kya dasha hoti hai? arjun ka prashn un logoan ke bhavishy ke sambandh mean hai, jo mrityu ke samay shashvat achchhaee ke viruddh yuddh nahian kar rahe hote, halaanki ve itane anushasit nahian hote ki ve shashvat pavitrata ki chhata ka chintan kar sakean. kya, jaisa ki kuchh logoan, ka vishvas hai, unake lie anant svarg ya anant narak, ye hi do vikalp haian? ya is prakar ke vyaktiyoan ke lie mrityu ke bad bhi poornata ki or badh pane ka phir koee avasar hai?
