6.bandhuratmatmanastasy yenatmaivatmana jitah.
anatmanastu shatrutve vartetatmaiv shatruvath ॥

jisane apani (nimnatar) atma ko apani (uchchatar) atma se jit liya hai, usaki atma mitr hoti hai. parantu jisane apani (uchchatar) atma ko pa nahian liya hai, usaki atma hi shatru ke saman shatrutapoorn vyavahar karati hai. hamase kaha gaya hai ki ham apani uchchatar atma dvara nimnatar atma ko vash mean karean. yahaan prakriti ke niyativad ko prakriti ka niyantran karane ki shakti dvara parimit kar diya gaya hai. nimnatar atma ka nash nahian kiya jana hai. yadi use vash mean rakha jae, to usaka upayog sahayak ke roop mean kiya ja sakata hai.

7.jitatmanah prashantasy paramatma samahitah.
shitoshnasukhaduahkheshu tatha manapamanayoah॥

jab manushy apani (nimnatar) atma ko jit leta hai aur atm-prabhutv ki shanti prapt kar leta hai, tab usaki sarvochch atma sada samadhi mean sthit rahati hai; vah sardi aur garmi mean, sukh aur duahkh mean, man aur apaman mean shant rahati hai. yah us vyakti ke param anand ki dasha hai, jisane sarvabhaum atma ke sath apani ekata sthapit kar li hai. vah jitatma hai, jisaki ki shanti aur dhriti dvandvoan ke kashtoan se vikshubdh nahian hoti.
paramatma samahitah shankarachary ka kathan hai ki sarvachch atma apane-ap ko svayan apani hi atma samajhane lagati hai.[1] sharir mean vidyaman atma samanyataya sansar ke dvandvoan mean, sardi aur garmi mean, dukhah aur sukh me magn rahati hai; parantu jab yah indriyoan ko vash mean kar leti hai aur sansar par kaboo pa leti hai, tab atma svatantr ho jati hai. sarvochch atma sharir mean vidyaman atma se bhinn nahian hai. jab atma prakriti ke gunoan se bandhi rahati hai, tab vah kshetrajn kahalati hai; jab vah unake bandhan se chhoot jati hai, tab vahi atma paramatma kahalane lagati hai.[2] yah nishchit hi advait vedant ka mat hai jo log is mat ke virodhi haian, ve paramatma shabd ko ’paramh’ aur ’atma’ in do shabdoan mean vibhakt kar lete haian aur ’paramh’ ko samahitah’ kriya ka kriya-visheshan manate haian. ramanuj ’paramh’ ko kriya-visheshan manata hai aur usake anusar arth hai ki atma ko atma ko ati bhavy roop mean prapt kiya jata hai. shridhar ka kathan hai ki is prakar ka vyakti apani atma mean samadhimagn ho jata hai.[3] anandagiri ka mat hai ki is prakar ke vyakti ki atma poori tarah samadhi mean lin ho jati hai.[4]
samh ahit: samanata ki or dridhatapoorvak prerit. parantu yah vyakhya sadharanataya ki jane vali vyakhya nahian hai.

8.jnanavijnanatriptatma kootastho vijitendriyah .
yukt ityuchyate yogi samaloshtashmakananchanah॥

jis yogi ki atma jnan aur vijnan dvara tript ho gee hai aur jo kootasth (aparivartanashil) hai aur jisane apani indriyoan ko jit liya hai,jisake lie mitti ka dhela, patthar ya svarn-khand ek jaise haian, use yogayukt kaha jata hai.
jnanavijnan: 3, 41 tippani dekhie. kootasth: isaka shabdarth hai ooanche sthan par baitha hua, avachil, parivartanahin dridh, sthir ya prashant.yogi ko yukt ya yogamagn tab kaha jata hai, jab vah sansar ke parivartanoan se oopar bhagavanh mean dhyan lagae hue ho. is prakar ka yogi pratitiyoan ke pichhe vidyaman vastavikata (brahm) ke jnan aur anubhav se tript hua rahata hai. vah sansar ki vastuoan aur ghatanaoan se akshubdh rahata hai. aur isilie is parivartanashil sansar ki ghatanaoan ke prati samachit kaha jata hai.
