arthat bhagavati ka mangalamay, param pavitr charitr sunane se hi pap ka nash evan arogy labh -hota hai. tatpary ki bhagavati ka punit charitr-shravan se hi pap-tap ko nivritti evan sarv prakar ke kalyan ka sampadan ho jata hai.
bhagavat kathamrit shravan ki lie chitt ki ekagrata anivary hai.
‘tavat karmani kurvit n nirvidyet yavata.
matkathashravanadau va shraddha yavann jayate.[1]
jab tak laukaishana, vitteshna, putraishana se purnatah vinirmukt n ho jay, jab tak bhagavath kathamrit shravan mean poorn shraddha jagrat n ho jay tab tak shraddha-bhakti ke sath karm-kand ka sampadan karana chahie. bhagavath kathamrit rasasvadan-hetu karm-kand, upasana, anushthan adi ke dvara tadanusar yogyata ka sampadan apekshit hai. ‘bhuvigrinanti te bhoorida janaah’ jo bhoomandal mean apaki kathamrit ka vitaran karate haian ve ‘bhoorida janaah’ b de dani haian.
‘jivabhayapradanasy kalaan narhanti shodashim’ arthath, anekanek prakar ke dan, yajn, anushthan adi ka mahattv us mahattv ki sho dashi kala ki bhi barabari nahian kar sakate jo jiv ko abhay pradan karane se hota hai. ‘kimahan Om sadhu nakaravamh. kimahan papamakaravamh.[2]‘nainan kritakrite tapatah’[3] marate samay jiv ko santan hota hai maianne kyoan sadhu- karm nahian kiya? kyoan asadhu karm kie? parantu jo bhagavat- kathamrit ka shravan karata hai vah kritakrit santap se mukt ho jata hai. bhagavanh vyas-putr shri shukadev ji raja parikshit se kah rahe haian,
‘tvan tu rajanh marishyeti pashubuddhimimaan jahi’[4] arthath, he rajanh! maian marooanga, yah pashu-buddhi hai. man, buddhi, ahankar se atit ajar, amar, akhand sachchidanandaghan, paratpar, parabrahm ka aansh-svaroop maian mar raha hooan yah pashu buddhi hai. parikshit ne bhi anubhav kiya ‘brahmahan paraman paran[5] he gurudev! apake anugrah se maian bhagavanh ke mangalamay madhur manohar svaroop mean pravisht ho gaya; ab sampoorn tap-santap se vinirmukt hooan, sampoornatah abhit hooan.
