.. shlok 40 se 44 ka bhavarth.. shlok 40 se 44 mean prakritijany-gun v svabhavanusar jagat ka dharan-poshan tatha vyavahar sucharu roop se niyamanusar chalate rahane ke lie jis chaturvarn vyavastha ka nirman kiya gaya hai aur pratyek varn ka karaniy kartavy-karm niyat v nirdharit kiya gaya hai us chaturvarn arthath brahman, kshatriy, vaishy v shoodr ki gunatray-vibhag[1] ke anusar kartavy karmoan ka varnan kiya gaya hai. bhagavan krishn ne kaha hai ki[2]prithvi par, akash mean, svarg mean ya devataoan mean koee bhi prani ya vastu aisi nahian hai jisamean prakriti ke sattv, raj, tam tinoan gun n hote hoan. sthavar v jangam srishti jo bhi hai vah trigunatmak prakriti ka hi vistar hai. sthavar srishti ke sambandh mean trigunatmak prakriti ke gun-bhed ka varnan “kshar-akshar” vichar se adhyay 8 mean kiya gaya hai; tatha jangam srishti mean vishesh roop se manav srishti ke sambandh mean trigunatmak prakriti ke gun-bhed ka varnan kshetr[3]v kshetrajn[4] ke vichar se adhyay 13 mean kiya gaya hai. kshetr-kshetrajn ke vichar ke silasile mean bhagavan krishn ne arjun ko yah samajhaya hai ki paramabrahm parameshvar atma-roop mean - jise kshetrajn kahate haian - manushy ke pind ya sthool sharir mean rahata hai; kintu yah atma keval sakshi, upadrishta v udasin roop mean rahata hai aur vishv mean jo kuchh bhi halachal, vyapar, kriya ya cheshta ka hona dikhaee deta hai vah sab trigunatmak prakriti ka kartattv hai. kshetr-kshetrajn ka yah bhed hi prakriti v purush ka bhed kaha gaya hai.
