arjun ka yah prashn sunakar un sarvajnadhipati bhagavanh ko atyant santosh hua, karan ki apane shishy ke is prashn se unako arjun ki buddhimatta achchhi tarah drishtigat hone lagi. bhagavanh ne kaha- “he mahamati! jo mujhe prapt kar phir vapas nahian ate, ve mujhase bhinn bhi haian aur abhinn bhi haian. yadi gambhirata se vichar kiya jay to maian aur ve svabhavatah ek hi haian- ham donoan abhinn hi haian. kiantu yadi bahy-drishti se vichar kiya jay to yah bhi maloom p data hai ki ve mujhase prithakh haian. jaise jal par uthane ki dasha mean laharean usase alag jan p dati haian, par yadi vichar kiya jay to yahi manana p data hai ki ve tarangean bhi jal hi haian athava jaise abhooshan svarn se prithakh dikhayi dete haian, par yatharthatah ve svarn hi haian, thik vaise hi he kiriti! yadi jnan-drishti se dekha jay to ve mujhase abhinn hi haian aur jo bhinnata drishtigat hoti hai, vah ekamatr ajnan ke karan hai. yadi brahm-vastu ka samyakh vichar kiya jay to aisi kaun-si chij ho sakati hai, jo ‘ekamevadvitiy’ se bhinn mani ja sake tatha jo bhinnata ki drishti se mujhase prithakh ki ja sake? yadi sooryabimb sare gaganamandal ko vyapt karake ek hi gola ban jay to phir usaka pratibimb kahaan p dega aur usaki rashmiyaan jayangi to kahaan jayangi? he dhananjay! kalpant ke sarvavyapi jal mean bhi kya kabhi chhoti-chhoti dharaean akar milati haian? thik isi prakar mujh vikarahin tatha ‘ekamevadvitiy’ ke aansh kaise ho sakate haian? par sidha pravahit hone vala jal bhi do dharaoan ke ek sthan par milane par kuchh tedha ho jata hai athava jal ki upadhi ke karan soory bhi pratibimb-roop se ek ki jagah do dikhayi dene lagata hai. bhala yah kaise kaha ja sakata hai ki akash chaukor hai athava gol hai? par jab vahi akash kisi ghat athava math mean rahata hai, tab ham use gol athava chaukor bhi kah sakate haian. jis samay koee vyakti svapn mean raja hone ka drishy dekhata hai, us samay nidra ke bal par kya vah akela hi sab vyakti aur samast vastuean nahian ban jata tatha sare jagath ko apane-hi-ap se nahian bhar deta? nakali svarn athava aur koee chij milane par jaise asali svarn bhi kuchh aur hi prakar ka kas dikhalane lagata hai. thik vaise hi mera shuddhasvaroop bhi jis samay maya se achchhadit ho jata hai, us samay ajnan ki utpatti hoti hai. vah ajnan hai, ‘koahamh’ yani maian kaun hooan. isi ajnan se man mean yah vikalp utpann hota hai ki maian kaun hooan aur phir isi bat par vichar-vimarsh karake jiv yah nishchay karata hai ki maian sharir hooan.[1] |
