arjun ka prashn kitana sidha sada aur saral hai. usake man mean at ayi to usane poochhane mean koee sankoch nahian kiya. ‘arjun uvach’ ka arth hai ‘arjunasy vachanamh’ arthath arjun ka vachan. sanjay dhritarashtr se kahate haian ki maian jo bol raha hooan, vah arjun ka vachan hai. arjun shrikrishn se poochhate haian ki maharaj, antatogatva apaka mat kya hai? is par bhagavanh shrikrishn ne ek buddhi to bata di saankhy ki aur doosari buddhi bata di yog ki. saankhy aur yog kya hai? samyakkhyanamh sankhya- kisi prakar ka samyakh akhyan kar dena, varnan kar dena, vyakhyan kar dena, isaka nam hai sankhya. sankhyaiv saankhyah samyakh khyanamev saankhyamh- kisi vastu ka bhalibhaanti thik-thik, yatharth varnan karana, shuddh vastu ka niroopan karana- isaka nam hai saankhy. isi tarah ‘yojanamh yogah’. yajh dhatu samadhi arth mean bhi hai aur sanyog arth mean bhi hai. yogah samadhiah. yogah sanyojanamh. ek vastu ko doosari vastu ke sath jo d dene ka nam yog hai athava ek mean doosare vastu ko milakar, samahit karake sare prashnoan ka samadhan kar lena yog hai. samast kary-kalapoan ka karan mean lay kar dena bhi yog hai aur do alag-alag vastuoan ko jo d dena bhi yog hai. yog adhikari ke dvara anushthit kartritantr, prayatnaroop, phalotpadak vyapar vishesh hai. karta ke dvara anushthit barambar avartaman, phal-vishesh ka utpadak, prayatn roop- chahe vah sharirik ho, manasik ho athava bauddhik ho- ek kriya kalap ka, vyapar ka nam, bhi yog hai.

sankshep mean ham yog aur saankhy ke sanbandh mean kahana chahean to yah kah sakate haian ki man-pasand vastu ko milane vala yog hai aur jo vastu jaisi hai, usako vaisa lakha dene vala saankhy hai. gita mean bhagavanh shrikrishn ne in donoan ko buddhi kaha hai aur saph-saph bataya hai ki he arjun, tum buddhiyogi raho. ve yah bhi kah chuke haian ki-

traigunyavishaya veda nistraigunyo bhavarjun. [1]

ved gunatrayabhimani ke lie karm ka vidhi-nishedh karate haian. isalie tum nistraiguny avastha ko prapt ho jao. yah bhi kah chuke haian ki ‘esha brahmi sthitiah parth[2] yah brahmi sthiti hai aur isamean nirvan prapt ho jayega. yah bhi kaha gaya hai ki ‘karmanyevadhikaraste ma phaleshu kadachan.’[3]lekin in vachanoan ke dvara bhagavanh kahana kya chahate haian- arjun ki buddhi mean jitana spasht hona chahie, utana spasht nahian hua. isalie saph-saph uttar dene ke lie agrahag karate haian. unaka prashn pariksha lene ke lie nahian hai, usamean koee chhal-kapat nahian hai. isalie arjun ko jo bat spasht nahian huee, usake sanbandh mean ve prashn karate haian.
