chhatha adhyay(atm sanyam yog)shribhagavanh bole- jo sansar ka arthath vastu, vyakti aur kriya ke ashray ka tyag karake kartavy karm ka palan karata hai, vahi sachcha sannyasi tatha yogi hai. keval agni ka tyag karane vala sachcha sannyasi nahian hota tatha keval kriyaoan ka tyag karane vala sachcha yogi nahian hota. he arjun! log jise sannyas (jnanayog) kahate haian, usi ko tum yog (karmayog) samajho; kyoanki donoan mean hi apane sankalp[1] ka tyag hai. manushy apane sankalp ka tyag kiye bina (nashavanh padarthoan ke sath sanbandh rakhate hue) koee sa bhi yogi nahian ho sakata. jo yog (samata)- ko prapt karana chahata hai, aisa mananashil yogi nishkamabhav se kartavy karm karega, tabhi yog ki prapti hogi; kyoanki kartavy karm kiye bina arthath sansar se mili vastu ko sansar ki seva mean lagaye bina vah yog (samata)- mean sthit nahian ho sakata. yog mean sthit hone par jo shanti milati hai, us shanti ka bhi sukh n lene se sadhak ko paramatma ki prapti ho jati hai. jis samay manushy n to iandriyo ke bhogoan mean asakt hota hai aur n karmoan mean hi asakt hota hai aur sanpoorn sankalpoan ka tyag kar deta hai, us samay vah yog mean sthit kaha jata hai. |
