rajo ragatmakan viddhi trishnasangasamudbhavamh . arth- he kuntinandan! trishna aur asakti ko paida karane vale rajogun ko tum ragasvaroop samajho vah karmoan ki asakti se shariradhari ko baandhata hai. vyakhya- ‘rajo ragatmakan viddhi’- yah rajogun ragasvaroop hai arthat kisi vastu, vyakti, paristhiti, ghatana, kriya adi mean jo priyata paida hoti hai, vah priyata rajogun ka svaroop hai. ‘ragatmakamh’ kahane ka tatpary hai ki jaise svarn ke abhooshan svarnamay hote haian, aise hi rajogun ragamay hai. patanjalayogadarshan mean ‘kriya’ ko rajogun ka svaroop kaha gaya hai.[1] parantu shrimadbhagavadgita mean bhagavan (kriya matr ko gaunaroop se rajogun manate hue bhi) mukhyatah rag ko hi rajogun ka svaroop manate haian.[2] isalie ‘yogasthah kuru karmani sang tyaktva’[3]. isi adhyay ke baeesavean shlok mean bhagavan kahate haian ki ‘pravritti’ arthat kriya karane ka bhav utpann hone par bhi gunatit purush ka usamean rag nahian hota. tatpary yah hua ki gunatit purush mean bhi rajogun ke prabhav se pravritti to hoti hai, par vah ragapoorvak nahian hoti. gunatit hone mean sahayak hone par bhi sattvagun ko sukh aur jnan ki asakti se baandhane vala kaha gaya hai. isase siddh hota hai ki asakti hi bandhanakarak hai, sattvagun svayan nahian. atah bhagavan yahaan rag ko hi rajogun ka mukhy svaroop janane ke lie kah rahe haian. mahasarg ke adi mean paramatma ka ‘bahu syaan prajayey’- yah sankalp hota hai. yah sankalp rajoguni hai. isako gita ne ‘karm’ nam se kaha hai.[4] jis prakar dahi ko bilone se makkhan aur chhachh alag-alag ho jate haian, aise hi s़rishti rachana ke is rajoguni sankalp se prakriti mean kshobh paida hota hai, jisase sattvagun roopi makkhan aur tamogun roopi chhachh alag-alag ho jati hai. sattvagun se aantahkaran aur jnaneandriyaan, rajogun se pran aur karmeandriyaan tatha tamogun se sthool padarth, sharir adi ka nirman hota hai. tinoan gunoan se sansar ke any padarthoan ki utpatti hoti hai. is prakar mahasarg ke adi mean bhagavan ka srishtirachana roop karm bhi sarvatha ragarahit hota hai.[5] ‘trishnasangasamudbhavamh’- prapt vastu, vyakti, padarth, paristhiti, ghatana adi bane rahean tatha ve aur bhi milate rahean- aisi ‘jimi pratilabh lobh adhikaee’ ki tarah trishna paida ho jati hai. is trishna se phir vastu adi mean asakti paida ho jati hai. vyakaran ke anusar is ‘trishmasangasamudbhavamh’ pad ke do arth hote haian- (1) jisase trishna aur asakti paida hoti hai[6] arthat trishna aur asakti ko paida karane vala aur (2) jo trishna aur asakti se paida hota hai[7] arthat trishna aur asakti se paida hone vala. jaise bij aur vriksh anyony karan haian, arthat bij se vriksh paida hota hai aur vriksh se phir bahut se bij paida ho jate haian, aise hi ragasvaroop rajogun se trishna aur asakti badhati hai tatha trishna aur asakti se rajogun bahut badh jata hai. tatpary hai ki ye donoan hi ek-doosare ko pusht karane vale haian. atah uparyukt donoan hi arth thik haian. |

- ↑ shrimadbhagavadgita ki ek bahut b di vilakshanata yah hai ki vah kisi mat ka khandan kiye bina hi us vishay mean apani manyata prakat kar deti hai. gita mean bhagavan ne kriya ko bhi rajogun mana hai- ‘lobhah pravrittirarambhah karmanamh’ (gita 14:12), aur kriya ko sattvik bhi bataya hai. (gita 18:23) isalie dosh kriyaoan mean nahian hai, pratyut rag ya asaktiyoan mean. ragapoorvak kie hue karm hi baandhate haian. tatpary hai ki manushy karmoan ki asakti aur phalechchha se hi bandhata hai, karm ko karane matr se nahian. rag n rahane par sanpoorn karm karate hue bhi manushy nahian bandhata. (gita 4:19) agar kriyamatr hi bandhanakarak hoti hai to jivanmukt mahapurushoan ko bhi baandh deti; kyoanki kriyaean to unake dvara bhi hoti hi haian. (gita 14:22) bhagavan ke dvara srishti ki rachana karana bhi ‘karm’ hai tatha avatar lekar ve bhi kriyaean (lilaean) karate haian, par karmoan asakti n rahane se unako karm baandhate nahian (9.9). atharahavean adhyay ke teeesavean, chaubisavean aur pachchisavean shlok mean bhagavan ne sattvik, rajas aur tamas- tin prakar ke karmoan ka varnan kiya hai. agar matr karm rajogun hi hote, to phir unake sattvik aur tasam bhed kaise hote? isase siddh hota hai ki gita mukhyatah rag ko hi rajogun kahati hai.
