yasmannodvijate loko lokannodvijate ch yah . arth- jisase kisi prani ko udveg nahian hota aur jisako khud bhi kisi prani se udveg nahian hota tatha jo harsh, amaharsh (eershya), bhay aur udveg se rahit hai, vah mujhe priy hai. vyakhya- ‘yasmannodvijate lokah’- bhakt sarvatr aur sab mean apane paramapriy prabhu ko hi dekhata hai. atah usaki drishti mean man, vani aur sharir se hone vali sanpoorn kriyaean ekamatr bhagavan ki prasannata ke lie hi hoti haian.[1] aisi avastha mean bhakt kisi bhi prani ko udveg kaise pahuancha sakata hai? phir bhi bhaktoan ke charitr mean yah dekhane mean ata hai ki unaki mahima, adar-satkar tatha kahian-kahian unaki kriya, yahaan tak ki unaki saumy akriti matr se bhi kuchh log eershyavash udvign ho jate haian aur bhaktoan se akaran dvesh aur virodh karane lagate haian. logoan ko bhakt se hone vale udveg ke sanbadh mean vichar kiya jae, to yahi pata chalega ki bhakt ki kriyaean kabhi kisi ke udveg ka karan nahian hoti; kyoanki bhakt prani matr mean bhagavan ko hi dekhata hai- ‘vasudevah sarvamh’.[2] usaki matr kriyaean svabhavatah praniyoan ke paramahit ke lie hi hoti hai. usake dvara kabhi bhool se bhi kisi ke ahit ki cheshta nahian hoti. jinako usase udveg hota hai, vah unake apane rag-dveshayukt anusar svabhav ke karan hi hota hai. apane hi doshayukt svabhav ke karan unako bhakt ki hitapoorn cheshtaean bhi udvegajanak pratit hoti haian. isamean bhakt ka kya dosh? bhartrihariji kahate haian- mrigaminasajjananaan trinajalasantoshavihitavrittinam . ‘harin, machhali aur sajjan kramashah trin, jal aur santosh par apana jivan-nirvah karate haian (kisi ko kuchh nahian kahate); parantu vyadh, machhue aur dushtalog akaran hi inase vair karate haian.’
vastav mean bhaktoan dvara doosare manushyoan ke udvign hone ka prashn hi paida nahian hota, pratyut bhaktoan ke charitr mean aise prasang dekhane mean ate haian ki unase dvesh rakhane vale log bhi unake chintan aur sang-darshan-sparsh-vartalap ke prabhav se apana asur svabhav chho dakar bhakt ho ge. aisa hone mean bhaktoan ka udaratapoorn svabhav hi hetu hai. parantu bhaktoan se dvesh karane vale sabhi logoan ko labh hi hota ho- aisa niyam bhi nahian hai. agar aisa man liya jae ki bhakt se kisi ko udveg hota hi nahian athava doosare lok bhakt ke viruddh koee cheshta karate hi nahian ya bhakt ke shatru-mitr hote hi nahian, to phir bhakt ke lie shatru-mitr, man-apaman, nianda-stuti adi mean sam hone ki bat[5] nahian kahi jati.
