shreyo hi jnanamabhyasajjnanaddhayyanan vishishyate . arth- abhyas se shastrajnan shreshth hai, shastrajnan se dhyan shreshth hai aur dhyan se bhi sab karmoan ke phal ka tyag shreshth hai. karmaphalatyag se tatkal hi paramashaanti prapt ho jati hai. vyakhya- [ bhagavan ne athavean shlok se gyarahavean shlok tak ek-ek sadhan mean asamarth hone par kramashah samarpan-yog, abhyasayog, bhagavadarth karm aur karmaphal tyag- ye char sadhan bataye. isase aisa pratit hota hai ki kramashah pahale sadhan ki apeksha age ka sadhan niche darje ka hai, aur aant mean kaha gaya karmaphalatyag ka sadhan sabase niche darje ka hai. is bat ki pushti isase bhi hoti hai ki pahale ke tin sadhanoan mean bhagavatprapti roop phal ki bat (‘nivasishyasi mayyev’, ‘mamichchhaptumh’ tatha ‘siddhimavapsyasi’- in padoan dvara) sath-sath kahi gayi; parantu gyarahavean shlok mean jahaan karmaphalatyag karane ki ajna di gayi hai, vahaan usaka phal bhagavatprapti nahian bataya gaya. uparyukt dharanaoan ko door karane ke lie yah barahavaan shlok kaha gaya hai. isamean bhagavan ne karmaphalatyag ko shreshth aur tatkal paramashanti dene vala bataya hai, jisase ki is chauthe sadhan ko koee nimn shreni ka n samajh le. karan ki is sadhan mean asakti, mamata aur phalechchha ke tyag ki hi pradhanata hone se jis tattv ki prapti samarpan yog, abhyas yog evan bhagavadarth karm karane se hoti hai, thik usi tattv ki prapti karmaphal tyag se bhi hoti hai. vastav mean uparyukt charoan sadhan svatantrata se bhagavatprapti karane vale haian. sadhakoan ki ruchi, vishvas aur yogyata ki bhinnata ke karan hi bhagavan ne athavean se gyarahavean shlok tak alag-alag sadhan kahe haian. jahaan tak karmaphalatyag ke phal (bhagavatprapti) ko alag se barahavean shlok mean kahane ka prashn hai, usamean yahi vichar karana chahie ki samarpan yog, abhyasayog evan bhagavadarth karm karane se bhagavatprapti hoti hai, yah to prayah prachalit hi hai; kiantu karmaphalatyag se bhi bhagavatprapti hoti hai, yah bat prachalit nahian hai. isilie prachalit sadhanoan ki apeksha isaki shreshthata batane ke lie barahavaan shlok kaha gaya hai aur usi mean karmaphalatyag ka phal kahana uchit pratit hota hai.] ‘shreyo hi jnanamabhyasath’- maharshi patanjali kahate haian- ‘tatr sthitau yatrauabhyasah.’[1] arthat kisi ek vishay mean sthiti (sthirata) prapt karane ke lie bar-bar prayatn karane ka nam ‘abhyas’ hai. yahaan (is shlok mean) ‘abhyas’ shabd keval abhyas roop kriya ka vachak hai, abhyasayog ka vachak nahian; kyoanki is (pranayam, manonigrah adi) abhyas mean shastrajnan aur dhyan nahian hai tatha karmaphal ki ichchha ka tyag bhi nahian hai. j data se sanbandh-vichchhed hone par hi yog hota hai, jabaki uparyukt abhyas mean j data (sharir, iandriyaan, man, buddhi) ka ashray rahata hai.
