dyavaprithivyoridamantaran hi vyaptan tvayaiken dishashch sarvaah . arth- he mahatmanh! yah svarg aur prithvi ke bich ka aantaral aur sanpoorn dishaean ek apase hi paripoorn haian. apake is adbhut aur ugraroop ko dekhakar tinoan lok vyathit (vyakul) ho rahe haian. vyakhya- ‘mahatmanh’- is sanbodhan ka tatpary hai ki apake svaroop ke saman kisi ka svaroop hua nahian, hai nahian, hoga nahian aur ho sakata bhi nahian. isalie ap ‘mahatma’ arthat mahan svaroop vale haian. ‘dyavaprithivyoridamantaran hi vyaptan tvayaiken dishashch sarvaah’- svarg aur prithvi ke bich mean jitana avakash hai, polahat hai, vah sab polahat apase paripoorn ho rahi hai. poorv, pashchim, uttar aur dakshin; poorv-uttar ke bich mean ‘eeshan’, uttar-pashchim ke bich mean ‘vayavy’, pashchim-dakshin ke bich mean ‘nairhrrity’ aur dakshin-poorv ke bich mean ‘agney’ tatha oopar aur niche- ye dasoan dishaean apase vyapt haian arthat in sabamean ap hi ap virajaman haian. ‘drishtadbhutan roopamugran tavedan lokatrayan pravyathimh’- [unnisavean shlok mean tatha bisavean shlok ke poorvardh mean ugraroop ka varnan karake ab bisavean shlok ke uttarardh se baeesavean shlok tak arjun ugraroop ke parinam ka varnan karate haian-] apake is adbhut, vilakshan, alaukik, ashcharyajanak, mahan dedipyaman aur bhayankar ugraroop ko dekhakar svarg, mrityu aur patal lok mean rahane vale sabhi prani vyathit ho rahe haian, bhayabhit ho rahe haian. yadyapi is shlok mean svarg aur prithvi ki hi bat ayi hai (dyavaprithivyoah), tathapi arjun dvara ‘lokatrayamh’ kahane ke anusar yahaan patal bhi le sakate haian. karan ki arjun ki drishti bhagavan ke sharir ke kisi ek desh mean ja rahi hai aur vahaan arjun ko jo dikh raha hai, vah drishy kabhi patal ka hai, kabhi mrityulok ka hai aur kabhi svarg ka hai. is tarah arjun ki drishti ke samane sab drishy bina kram ke a rahe haian.[1] yahaan par ek shanka hoti hai ki agar virat roop ko dekhakar triloki vyathit ho rahi hai, to divyadrishti ke bina kisane di? karan ki prakrit charmachakshuoan se yah virat roop nahian dekha ja sakata, jabaki ‘vishvamidan tapantamh’[2] aur ‘lokatrayan pravyathitamh’ padoan se virat roop ko dekhakar triloki ke santapt aur vyathit hone ki bat arjun ne kahi hai. |

- ↑ arjun ne svarg se patal tak tatha patal se svarg tak kramapoorvak vishvaroop ko dekha ho, aisi bat nahian hai. arjun bhagavan ki di huee divyadrishti se svarg, bhoomandal, patal adi sabako ek sath dekh rahe haian; aur jaise dekh rahe haian vaise hi bol rahe haian- ‘he dev! maian apaki deh mean devataoan ko dekh raha hooan. praniyoan ke alag-alag samudayoan ko dekh raha hooan, kamal par virajaman brahma ji ko dekh raha hooan, kailas par virajaman shankar ko dekh raha hooan’, sanpoorn rrishiyoan ko dekh raha hooan, divy sarpoan ko dekh raha hooan, (11.15) adi-adi. arjun ko aisa kahane mean to deri lagi hai, par aisa (sabako ek sath) dekhane mean deri nahian lagi. isalie arjun ke vachanoan mean svarg, mrityu, patal adi lokoan ka koee kram nahian hai.
