ap mokshadharm (sannhyas-ashram)-ke anusar bartav karati haian aur maian grihashth-ashram mean sthit hooan; at: apake dvara yah doosara ashramasankar namak dosh ka uthpadan kiya ja raha hai, jo athyanht kashhtaprad hai. maian yah bhi nahian janata ki ap sagotra haian ya asagotra. isi prakar ap bhi mere vishay mean kuchh nahian janatian. at: mujh sagotr mean pravesh karane ke karan apake dvara tisara gotrasankar namak dosh uthpanhn kiya gaya hai. yadi apake pati jivit haian athava kahian paradesh mean chal gaye haian to ap parayi shtri hone ke karan mere liye sarvatha agamhy haian. aisi dasha mean apaka yah bartav dharmasankar namak chautha dosh hai. ap kary-sadhan ki apeksha rakhakar ajnan athava mithhyajnan se yukht ho ye sab n karane yoghy kary kar dalane ko udyat ho gayi haian. athava yadi ap shvatanhtr haian to kabhi apake dvara yadi kuchh shashtr ka shravan kiya gaya ho to apane apane hi dosh se vah sab vhyarth kar diya hai. apaka jo dosh chhipa hua tha, use apane shvayan hi prakashit kar diya. isase ap dushhta jan p dati haian.
apaki dushhtata ka yah aur chautha chihn shpashht dikhayi de raha hai, jo hriday ki priti par aghat karane vala hai. ap apani vijay chahati haian. apane keval mujhe hi jitane ki ichhchha nahian ki hai, apitu yah jo meri sari sabha baithi hai, ise bhi jitana chahati haian. ap mere paksh ki parajay aur apane paksh ki vijay ke liye in mananiy sabhasadoan par bhi baranbar apani drishti pheank rahi haian. ap apani asahishhnutajanit yogasam mriddhi ke moh se mohit ho vish aur amrit ko ek karane ke saman kam ke sath yog ka samhbanhdh jo d rahi haian. shtri aur purush jab ek-doosare ko chahate hoan, us samay unhhean jo sanyog-sukhaka labh hota hai, vah amrit ke saman madhur hai. yadi anurakht nari ko anurakht purush ki prapti nahian huee to vah dosh vishake saman bhayankar hota hai. ap mera shparsh n karean. mere charitr ko uthtam aur nishhkalank samajhean aur apane shashtr (sannhyas-dharm)–ka niranhtar palan karati rahean. apane mere vishay mean yah janane ki ichhchha ki thi ki yah raja jivanhmukht hai ya nahian. yah sara bhav apake hriday mean prachhchhanhn bhav se sthit tha, at: is samay ap mujhase isako chhipa nahian sakatian. yadi ap apane kary se ya kisi doosare raja ke kary se yahaan vesh badalakar ayi hoan to ab apake liye yatharth bat ko gupht rakhana uchit nahian hai. manushhy ko chahiye ki vah kisi raja ke pas ya kisi brahman ke nikat athava strijanachit pativrathy gun se samhpanhn kisi sati-sadhhvi nari ke samip chhahmavesh dharan karake n jay; khyoki ye raja, brahman aur pativrata satri us chhahmaveshadhari manushhy ke dhokha dene par us par kupit ho usaka vinash kar dete haian. rajaoan ka bal aishhvary hai, vedajn brahmanoan ka bal ved hai tatha striyoan ka param uthtam bal roop yauvan aur saubhaghy hai. ye inhhian baloan se balavanh hote haian. apane abhishht arth ki siddhi chahane vale purush ko inake pas saral bhav se jana chahiye; khyoanki inake pati kiya hua kutil bhav vinash ka karan ban sakata hai.[1]
sulabha dvara dosh ka varnan
at: sannhyasini! apako apani jati, shashtr jnan, charitr, abhipray, shvabhav evan yahaan agaman ka prayojan bhi yathartharoop se batana uchit hai. bhishhm ji kahate- yudhishthir! raja janak ne in du:khajanak, ayoghy aur asangat vachanoan dvara usaka b da tirashkar kiya, to bhi sulabha apane man mean tanik bhi vichalit nahian huee. jab raja ki bat samapht ho gayi, tab param sunhdari sulabha ne athyanht madhur vachanoan mean bhashan dena aramhbh kiya.
sulabha boli- rajanh! vani aur buddhi ko dooshit karane vale jo nau-nau dosh haian, unase rahit, atharah gunoan se samhpanhn aur yuktisangat arth se yukht pad samooh ko vakhy kahate haian. us vakhy mean saukshhmhy, saankhhy kram, nirnay aur prayojan- ye paanch prakar ke arth rahane chahiye. ye jo saukshhmhy yadi arth haian, ye pad, vakhy, padarth aur vakhyartharoop se kholakar bataye ja rahe haian. ap inamean se ek-ek ka alag-alag lakshan suniye. jahaan anek bhinhn-bhinhn jney (arth) upasthit hoan aur ‘yah ghat hai, yah pat hai’ is prakar vashtuoan ka prithakh-prithakh jnan hota ho, aise shthaloan mean yatharth nirnay karane vali jo buddhi hai, usi ka nam saukshhmhy hai. jahaan kisi vishesh arth ko abhishht manakar usake doshoan aur gunoan ki vibhagapoorvak ganana ki jati hai, us arth ko saankhhy athava saankhhy samajhana chahiye. pariganit gunoan aur doshoan mean se amuk gun ya dosh pahale kahana chahiye aur amuk ko pichhe rahana abhishht hai. is prakar jo poorva par ke kram ka vichar hota hai, usaka nam kram hai aur jis vakhy mean aisa kram ho, us vakhy ko vakhy vethta vidvanh kramayukht kahate haian. dharm, arth, kam aur moksh ke vishay mean kisi ek ka vishesh roop se pratipadan karane ki pratijna karake pravachan ke anht mean ‘yahi vah abhishht vishay hai’ aisa kahakar jo siddhanht sthir kiya jata hai, usi ka nam nirnay hai. nareshhvar! ichhchha athava dvesh se uthpanhn hue du:khoan ke dvara jahaan kisi ek prakar ke du:kh ki pradhanata ho jay, jo vritti uday hoti hai, usi ko prayojan kahate haian. janeshhvar! jis vakhy mean poorvokht saukshhmhy adi gun ek arth mean sammilit hoan, mere vaise hi vakhy ko ap shravan karean. maian aisa vakhy bolooangi, jo sarthak hoga. usamean arthabhed nahian hoga. vah nhyayamukht hoga. usamean avashhyakata se adhik, karnakatu evan sandeh-janak pad nahian hoange. is prakar maian param uthtam vakhy bolooangi. mere is vachan mean guru evan nishhthur aksharoan ka sanyog nahian hoga; komalakanht sukumar padavali hogi. vah paradmukh vhyaktiyoan ke liyean sukhad nahian hoga. vah n to jhooth hoga n dharm, arth aur kam ke viruddh aur sanshkar shoonhy hi hoga. mere us vakhy mean nhyoon padathv namak dosh nahian rahega, kashhtakar shabhdoan ka prayog nahian hoga, usaka kramarahit uchhcharan nahian hoga. usamean doosare padoan ke adhhyahar aur lakshan ki avashhyakata nahian hogi. yah vakhy nishhprayojan aur yuktishoonhy bhi nahian hoga. maian kam, krodh, bhay, lobh, dainhy, anaryata, lajhja, daya tatha abhiman se kisi tarah koee bat nahian bolooangi. nareshhvar! bolane ki ichhchha hone par jab vakhta, shrota aur vakhy-tinoan avikal bhav se sam-sthiti mean a jate haian, tab vakhta ka kaha hua arth prakashit hota hai (shrota ke samajh mean a jata hai).[2]
jab bolate samay vakhta shrota ki avahelana karake doosare ke liye apani bat kahane lagata hai, us samay vah vakhy shrota ke hriday mean pravesh nahian karata hai. aur jo manushhy shvarth thyagakar doosare ke liye kuchh kahata hai, us samay usake prati shrota ke hriday mean ashanka uthpanhn hoti hai, at: vah vakhy bhi doshayukht hi hai. parantu nareshhvar! jo vakhta apane aur shrota donoan ke liye anukool vishay hi bolata hai, vahi vashtav mean vakhta hai, doosara nahian. at: rajanh! ap sthirachitht evan ekagr hokar yah vakhy samhpatti se yukht sarthak vachan suniye. maharaj! apane mujhase poochha tha ki ap kaun haian, kisaki haian aur kahaan se ayi haian? at: isake uthtar mean mera yah kathan ekachitht hokar suniye.
gunoan ka varnan
rajanh! jaise kath ke sath lah aur dhool ke sath pani ki booandean milakar ek ho jati haian, usi prakar is jagath mean praniyoan ka janhm kee tathvoan ke mel se hota hai. shabhd, shparsh, roop, ras aur ganhth tatha paanchoan jnanendriyaan—ye athma se prithakh hone par bhi kashhth mean sate hue lah ke saman athma ke sath jude़ hue haian; parantu inamean shvatanhtr koee prerana-shakti nahian hai. yahi vidvanoan ka nishhchay hai. inamean se ek-ek indriy ko n to apana jnan hai aur n doosare ka. netr apane netrathv ko nahian janata. isi prakar kan bhi apane vishay mean kuchh nahian janata. isi tarah ye indriyaan aur vishay parashpar ek-doosare se mil-julakar bhi nahian jan sakate. jaise ki jal aur dhool parashpar milakar bhi apane sammishran ko nahian janate. sharirashth indriyaan vishayoan ka prathyaksh anubhav karate samay anhyanhy bahy gunoan ki apeksha rakhati haian. un gunoan ko ap mujhase suniye. roop,netr, aur prakash— ye tin kisi vashtu ko prathyaksh dekhane mean hetu haian. jaise prathyaksh darshan mean ye tin hetu haian, usi prakar anhyanhy jnan aur jney mean bhi tin-tin hetu janane chahiye. jnan aur jnatavhy vishayoan ke bich mean kisi jnanendriy ke atirikht man namak ek doosara gun bhi rahata hai, jisase yah jivathma kisi vishay mean bhale-bure ka nishhchay karane ke liye vichar karata hai. vahian ek aur barahavaan gun bhi hai, jisaka nam hai buddhi. jisase kisi jnatavhy vishay mean sanshay uthpanhn hone par manushhy ek nishhchay par pahuanchata hai. us barahavean gun buddhi mean sathvanamak ek (terahavaan) gun hai, jisase mahasathv aur alhpasathv prani ka anuman kiya jata hai. us satthv mean ‘maian karta hooan’ aise abhiman se yukht ahankar namak ek anhy chauhadavaan gun hai, jisase jivathma ‘yah vashtu meri hai aur yah vashtu meri nahian hai’ aisa manata hai.
rajanh! us ahankar mean vasana namak ek gun aur mana gaya hai, jo pandrahavaan hai. vahaan prithakh-prithakh kalaoan ke samooh ki jo samagrata hai, vah ek-anhy gun hai. vah sanghat ki bhaanti yahaan solahavaan kaha jata hai. jisamean prakriti (maya) aur vhyakti (prakash)- ye do gun ashrit haian (yahaan tak sab atharah hue). sukh aur du:kh, jara aur mrithyu, labh aur hani tatha priy aur apriy athyadi dvanhdvoan ka jo yog hai, yah unhnasivaan gun mana gaya hai.[3]
is unhnisavean gun se pare kal namak doosara gun aur hai. ise bisavaan gun samajhiye. isi se praniyoan ki uthpatti aur lay hote haian. in bis gunoan ka samuday evan paanch mahabhoot tatha sadvavayog[4] aur ashdravayog[5]-ye do anhy prakashak gun, ye sab milakar sathtaees haian. ye jo bis aur sat gun bataye gaye haian, inake siva tin gun aur haian— vidhi[6], shukr[7] aur bal[8]. is prakar ganana karane se bis aur das tis gun hote haian. ye sare-ke-sare gun jahaan vidyaman haian, usako sharir kaha gaya hai. koee-koee vidvanh avhyakht prakriti ko in tis kalaoan ka upadan karan matane haian. doosare shthooladarshi vicharak vhyakht arthath paramanuoan ko karan manate haian tatha koee-koee avhyakht aur vhyakht ko arthath prakriti aur paramanu—in donoan ko unaka upadan karan samajhate haian. avhyakht ho, vhyakht ho, donoan hoan athava charoan (brahma, maya, jiv aur avidya) karan hoan, adhhyathm tathv ka chinhtan karane vale vidvanh prakriti ko hi samhpoorn bhootoan ka upadan karan samajhate haian. rajenhdr! yah jo avhyakht prakriti sabaka upadan karan hai, yahi poorvokht tis kalaoan roop mean vhyakht bhav ko prapht huee hai. maian, ap tatha jo anhy shariradhari haian, un sabake shariroan ki uthpatti prakriti se hi huee hai. praniyoan ki viry shthapana se lekar rajoviry sanyog- samhbhoot kuchh aisi avashthaean haian, jinake sammishran se hi ‘kalal’ namak ek padarth uthpanhn hota hai. kalal se budbud ki utpatti hoti hai. budbud se maansapeshi ka pradurbhav mana gaya hai. peshi se vibhinhn aangoan ka nirman hota hai aur aangoan se romavaliyaan tatha nakh prakat hote haian. mithilanaresh! garbh mean nau mas poorn ho jane par jiv janhm grahan karata hai. us samay use nam aur roop prapht hota hai tatha vah vishesh prakar ke chihn se shtri athava purush samajha jata hai. jis samay balak ka janhm hota us samay usaka jo roop dekhane mean ata hai, usake nakh aur aanguliyaan taanbe ke saman lal-lal hoti haian, phir jab vah kumaravashtha ko prapht hota hai to us samay usaka pahale ka vah roop nahian upalabhdh hota hai. isi prakar kumaravashtha se javani ko aur javani se budhape ko vah prapht hota hai. is kram se uthtarothtar avashtha mean pahuanchane par poorv-poorv avashtha ka roop nahian dekhane mean ata hai. sabhi praniyoan mean vibhinhn prayojan ki siddhi ke liye jo poorvokht kalaean haian, unake shvaroop mean pratikshan bhed ya parivartan ho raha hai; parantu vah itana sookshhm hai ki jan nahian p data. rajanh! prathyek avashtha mean in kalaoan ka lay aur udbhav hota rahata hai, kiantu dikhayi nahian deta hai; thik usi tarah jaise dipak ko lau kshan-kshan mean mitati aur uthpanhn hoti rahati hai, par dikhayi nahian deti.[9]
jaise dau data hua achhchha gho da itani tivr gati se ek shthan ko chho dakar par pahuanch jata hai ki kuchh kahate nahian banata, usi prakar yah prabhavashali lok niranhtar vegapoorvak ek avashtha se doosari avashtha mean ja raha hai, at: usake vishay mean yah prashhn nahian ban sakata hai ki ‘kaun kahaan se ata hai aur kaun kahaan se nahian ata hai, yah kisaka hai?kisaka nahian hai?kisase uthpanhn hua hai aur kisase nahian hua hai?praniyoan ka apane aangoan ke sath bhi yahaan khya samhbanhdh hai ?’ arthath kuchh bhi samhbanhdh nahian hai. jaise soory ki kiranoan ka samhpark pakar sooryakanht- mani se ag prakat ho jati hai, parashpar rag d khane par kath se agni ka pradurbhav ho jata hai, isi prakar poorvokht kalaoan ke samuday se jiv janhm grahan karate haian. jaise ap shvayan apane dvara apane hi mean athma ka darshan karate haian, usi prakar apane dvara doosaroan mean athma ka darshan khyo nahian karate haian?
yadi ap apane mean aur doosare mean bhi samabhav rakhate haian to mujhase baranbar khyoan poochhate haian ki ‘ap kaun haian aur kisaki haian? mithilanaresh! ‘yah mujhe prapht ho jay, yah n ho.’ ithyadi roop se jo dvanhdvavishayak chinhta prapht hoti hai, usase yadi ap mukht haian to ‘ap kaun haian? kisaki haian?athava kahaan se ayi haian ?’ in vachanoan dvara prashhn karane se apaka khya prayojan hai? shatru-mitr aur aur madhhyashth ke vishay mean, vijay, sandhi aur vigrah ke avasaroan par jis bhoopalane yathochit kary kiye haian, usamean jivanhmukht ka khya lakshan hai?dharm, arth aur kam ko trivarg kahate haian. yah sat roopoan me abhivhyakht hota hai. jo karmoan mean is trivarg ko nahian janata tatha jo sada trivarg se samhbanhdh rakhata hai, aise purush mean jivanhmukht ka khya lakshan hai? priy athava apriy mean, durbal athava balavanh mean jisaki samadrishti nahian hai, usamean mukht ka khya lakshan hai? nareshhvar! vashtav mean ap yogayukht nahian haian tathapi apako jo jivanmukti ka abhiman ho raha hai, vah apake suhridoan ko door kar dena chahiye arthath yah nahian manana chahiye ki ap jivanmukht haian, thik usi tarah jaise apathhyashil rogi ko dava dena band kar diya jata hai. shatruoan daman karane vale maharaj! nana prakar ke jo-jo padarth haian, un sabako asakti ke shthan samajhakar apane dvara apane hi me apane ko dekhe. isake siva mukht ka aur khya lakshan ho jata hai? rajanh! apane moksh ka ashray lekar bhi ye aur doosare jo kuchh char aangoan mean pravritt asakti ke jo sookshhm shthan haian, unako bhi apana rakha hai, unhhean batati haiooan, ap mujhase sunean. jo is sari prithhvi ka ekachhchhatr shasan karata hai, vah ek hi sarvabhaum naresh bhi ekamatr nagar mean hi nivas karata hai. us nagar mean bhi usake liye ek hi mahal hota hai, jisamean vah nivas karata hai. us mahal mean bhi usake liye ek hi shayya hoti hai, jis par vah rat mean sota hai.[10]
