dharmakshetre kurukshetre samaveta yuyutsavah.
mamakaah pandavashchaiv kimakurvat sanjay..1..

dhritarashtr ne poochha- “he sanjay! dharm kshetr, kurukshetr mean ekatr yuddh ki ichchha vale mere aur pandu ke putroan ne kya kiya ?”

ajnan roopi dhritarashtr aur sanyam roopi sanjay. ajnan man ke antaral mean rahata hai. ajnan se avritt man dhritarashtr janmandh hai; kintu sanyam roopi sanjay ke madhyam se vah dekhata hai, sunata hai aur samajhata hai ki paramatma hi saty hai, phir bhi jab tak isase utpann moh roopi duryodhan jivit hai isaki drishti sadaiv kauravoan par rahati hai, vikaroan par hi rahati hai.

sharir ek kshetr hai. jab hriday-desh mean daivi sampatti ka bahuly heata hai to yah sharir dharm kshetr ban jata hai aur jab isamean asuri sampatti ka bahuly hota hai to yah sharir kurukshetr ban jata hai. ‘kuru’ arthath karo - yah shabd adeshatmak hai. shri krishn kahate haian - prakriti se utpann tinoan gunoan dvara paravash hokar manushy karm karata hai. vah kshan matr bhi karm kiye bina nahian rah sakata. gun usase kara lete haian. so jane par bhi karm band nahian hota, vah bhi svasth sharir ki avashyak khurak matr hai. tinoan gun manushy ko devata se kit paryant shariroan mean hi baandhate haian. jab tak prakriti aur prakriti se utpann gun jivit haian, tab tak ‘kuru’ laga rahega. atah janm-mrityu vala kshetr, vikaroan vala kshetr kurukshetr hai aur param dharm paramatma mean pravesh dilane vali punyamayi pravrittiyoan (pandavoan) ka kshetr dharm kshetr hai.

puratattvavidh panjab mean, kashi-prayag ke madhy tatha anekanek sthaloan par kurukshetr ki shodh mean lage haian; kintu gitakar ne svayan bataya hai ki jis kshetr mean yah yuddh hua, vah kahaan hai. ‘idan shariran kauntey kshetramityabhidhiyate.’[1] “arjun! yah sharir hi kshetr hai aur jo isako janata hai, isaka par pa leta hai, vah kshetrajn hai.” age unhoanne kshetr ka vistar bataya, jisamean das indriyaan, man, buddhi, ahankar, paanchoan vikar aur tinoan gunoan ka varnan hai. sharir hi kshetr hai, ek akha da hai. isamean l dane vali pravrittiyaan do haian - “daivi sampadh’ aur ‘asuri sampadh’, ‘pandu ki santan’ aur ‘dhritarashtr ki santan’, ‘sajatiy aur vijatiy pravrittiyaan’.

anubhavi mahapurush ki sharan jane par in donoan pravrittiyoan mean sangharsh ka sootrapat hota hai. yah kshetr-kshetrajn ka sangharsh hai aur yahi vastavik yuddh hai. vishv yuddhoan se itihas bhara p da hai; kintu unamean jitane valoan ko bhi shashvat vijay nahian milati. ye to apasi badale haian. prakriti ka sarvatha shaman karake prakriti se pare ki satta ka digdarshan karana aur usamean pravesh pana hi vastavik vijay hai. yahi ek aisi vijay hai jisake pichhe har nahian hai. yahi mukti hai, jisake pichhe janm-mrityu ka bandhan nahian hai.

is prakar ajnan se achchhadit pratyek man sanyam ke dvara janana hai ki kshetr-kshetrajn ke yuddh mean kya hua? ab jaisa jisake sanyam ka utthan hai, vaise-vaise use drishti ati jayegi.
