arjun shantivadi rookh apanata hai aur saty aur nyay ki raksha ke lie hon vale yuddh mean bhag lene se inakar karata hai. vah sari paristhiti ko manaviy drishtikon se dekhata hai aur charam ahiansa ka pratinidhi bana jata hai. ant mean vah kahata haiah “isase bhala to maian yah samajhata hooan ki yadi mere svajan chot karean, to maian usaka niahshastr hokar samana karooan, aur apani chhati khol dooan unake tiroan aur barchhoan ke samane, bajay isake ki chot ke badale chot karooan.”[1] arjun yah prashn nahian uthata ki yuddh uchit hai ya anuchit. vah anek yuddhoan mean l d chuka hai aur anek shatruoan ka samana kar chuka hai. vah yuddh aur usaki bhayankarata ke viruddh isalie, kyoanki use apane mitroan aur sambandhiyoan (svajanamh) ko marana p dega.[2] yah hiansa ya ahiansa ka prashn nahian hai, apitu apane un mitroan ke viruddh hiansa ke prayeag ka prashn hai, jo ab shatru ban ge haian. yuddh ke prati usaki hichak adhyatmik vikas ya sattv guun ki pradhanata ka parinam nahian hai, apitu ajnan aur vasana ki upaj hai.[3] arjun is bat ko svikar karata hai ki vah durbalata aur ajnan ke vashibhoot ho gaya hai.[4] gita hamare sammukh jo adarsh upasthit karati hai, vah ahiansa ka hai; aur yah bat satavean adhyay mean man, vachan aur karm ki poorn dasha ke, aur barahavean adhyay mean bhakt ke man ki dasha ke varnan se spasht ho jati hai.

krishn arjun ko avesh ya durbhavana ke bina, rag ya dvesh ke bina yuddh karane ko kahata hai aur yadi ham apane man ko aisi sthiti mean le ja sakean, to hiansa asambhav ho jati hai. jo anyay hai, usake viruddh hamean l dana hi chahie. parantu yadi ham ghrina ko apane oopar havi ho jane dean, to hamari parajay sunishchit hai. param shanti ya bhagavanh mean linata ki dasha mean logoan ko mar pana asambhav hai. yuddh ko ek nidarshan ke roop mean liya gaya hai. ho sakata hai ki kabhi hamean vivash hokar kashtadayak kary karana p de; parantu vah aise dhang se kiya jana chahie ki usase ek prithakh ‘ahan’ ki bhavana panapane n pae. krishn arjun ko batata hai ki manushy apane karttavyoan ka palan karate hue bhi poornata ko prapt kar sakata hai. yadi karm ko nishtha ke sath aur sachche hriday se, usake phal ki ichchha rakhe bina kiya je to vah poornata ki or le jata hai. hamare karm hamare svabhav ke parinam hone chahie. arjun hai to kshatriy jati ka grihasth, parantu vah batean sannyasi ki-si karata hai; isalie nahian ki vah bilakul vairagy aur manavata ke prati prem ki sthiti tak oopar uth gaya hai, apitu isalie ki vah ek mithya karuna ke vashibhoot ho gaya hai. pratyek vyakti ko us sthan se oopar ki or uthana hoga, jahaan ki vah kh da hai.
