prapatti aur bhakti ka antar eesaee vichar dhara ke us vivad se mel khata hai, jo sent aaugastain aur pailegiyas ke prachin kal se chala a raha hai aur vah is bat ko lekar hai ki patit prani ke roop mean manushy ka uddhar keval bhagavanh ki daya se ho sakata hai ya manushy svayan bhi kuchh kar sakata hai aur apani mukti ke prayatn mean kuchh yog de sakata hai. pailegiyas svatantr sankalp mean vishvas rakhata tha. usane mool (adi) pap ke siddhant ka khandan kiya aur yah kaha ki manushy apane naitik prayatn ke anusar kary karate haian. agastain ne pailegiyas ke siddhant ka virodh kiya aur yah mat prastut kiya ki patan se pahale adam mean svatantr ichchhashakti thi, parantu jab usane aur hauva ne sev ko kha liya, usake bad unamean pap pravisht ho gaya aur vah unake sab vanshajoan mean chala a raha hai. hamamean se koee bhi apani shakti ke dvara pap se bacha nahian rah sakata. keval paramatma ki daya hi punyatma banane mean hamari sahayata kar sakati hai. kyoanki adam ke roop mean ham sabane pap kiya tha, isalie adam ke roop mean ham sab doshi thaharae ge hai.
phir bhi hamamean se kuchh log paramatma ki mukt daya ke karan svarg ke lie chune jate haian; isalie nahian ki ham usake patr haian ya ham achchhe haian, apitu isalie ki paramatma ki daya hamean pradan ki gee hai. hamamean se kuchh logoan ka uddhar kyoan ho jata hai, jabaki any logoan ko narakavas karana p data hai, isake lie paramatma ki nishprayojan ruchi ke sivay aur koee karan nahian bataya ja sakata. narakavas ka dand paramatma ke nyay ko siddh karata hai, kyoanki ham sab dusht haian. ‘aipisal too di romans’ ke kuchh sthaloan mean sent paul ne, sent agastain ne aur kailvin ne sarvabhaum pap ke drishtikon ko svikar kiya hai. parantu us pap ke hote hue bhi hamamean se kuchh ka uddhar ho jata hai, yah bat paramatma ki daya ki soochak hai.
narakavas ka dand aur mukti, donoan paramatma ki achchhaee ko, usake nyay aur usaki daya ko prakat karate haian. gita ka jhukav pailegiyas ke siddhant ki or hai. bhagavanh ke prati poorn atmasamarpan mean bhi manushy ka prayatn rahata hi hai. yah atmasamarpan sankalpahin ya prayatnahin nahian ho sakata. daya ke siddhant ki vyakhya vishesh chunav ke roop mean nahian ki ja sakati, kyoanki is prakar ki dharana gita ke is samany mat se ulti p dati hai ki “sab praniyoan mean bhagavanh vahi ek hai.”[1]shraddha bhakti ka adhar hai. isalie jin devataoan mean logoan ki shraddha hai, un sabako sahan kar liya gaya hai. bilakul prem n hone se kuchh prem hona achchha hai; kyoanki yadi ham prem nahian karate, to ham apane-ap mean hi ruddh ho jate hai. isake atirikt, nimnatar devataoan ko ek bhagavanh ke hi roopoan mean svikar kiya gaya hai.[2]
