bhakti shabd ‘bhajh’ dhatu se bana hai, jisaka arth hai--seva karana; aur bhakti shabd ka arth hai--bhagavanh ki seva. yah paramatma ke prati premapoorn anurag hai. narad ne bhakti ki paribhasha deete hue ise paramatma ke prati utkat prem bataya hai.[1] shandily ke mat se yah paramatma sarvochch abhilasha hai[2], jo keval is abhilasha ke lie hi hai (arthath is abhilasha ka aur koee prayojan nahian hai).[3] yah bhagavanh ki karuna ke vishvasapoorn atmasakshatkaran ke prati atmasamarpan hai. yah yogasootr ka eeshvarapranidhan hai, jo bhoj ke matanusar, “ek aisa prem hai, jisamean indriyoan ke anand ityadi parinamoan ki apeksha kie bina sab kary guruoan ke guru ko samarpit kar die jate haian.”[4] yah ek prachur anubhav hai, jo sab lalasaoan ko samapt kar deta hai aur hriday ko paramatma kehr prem se bhar deta hai.[5] bhakti-marg ke samarthakoan ki lokottar mukti mean utani ruchi nahian hai, jitani paramatma ki atal ichchha ke prati poorn vashavartita mean manaviy atma paramatma ki shakti, jnan aur achchhaee ke chintan dvara, bhaktipoorn hriday se usake nirantar smaran dvara, doosare logoan ke sath usake gunoan ke sambandh mean charcha karane ke dvara, apane sathiyoan ke sath milakar usake gunoan ka gan karane ke dvara aur sab karyoan ko usaki seva samajhakar karane ke dvara bhagavanh ke nikat pahuanch jati hai.[6] bhakt apane sampoorn astitv ko bhagavanh ki or prerit karata hai. prem dharm ka sar hai. yah upasak aur upasy ke madhy dvait ko aangikar karata hai. yadi antaryamitavad ke darshan ki is prakar vyakhya ki jae ki vah manushy ki apane pranitv ki bhavana ya bhagavanh ki lokatitata ki bhavana ko nasht kar de, to usamean bhakti aur pooja ke lie koee sthan n hoga. prani aur srashta ke madhy bhed bhakti-dharm ka sattvatmak adhar hai. bhagavadgita mean sanatan bhagavanh ko darshanik anuman ke paramatma ke roop mean utana nahian dekha gaya, jita ki us karunamay bhagavanh ke roop mean, jise hriday aur atma chahate haian aur khojate haian; jo vyaktik vishvas aur prem, shraddha aur nishthapoorn atmasamarpan ki bhavana ko jagata hai. “jnan ka uday hone se pahale dvaitata bhramak hai; par jab hamari buddhi jnan se alokit ho jati hai, tab ham anubhav karate hai ki dvait to advait se bhi adhik sundar hai aur dvait ki kalpana hi isalie ki gee hai ki pooja ki ja sake.”[7]
