9.suhrinmitraryudasinamadhyasthadveshyabandhushu.
sadhushvapi ch papeshu samabuddhirvishishyate॥

jo vyakti mitroan, sathiyoan aur shatruoan mean, tatasthoan aur nishpakshoan mean, dvesh rakhane valoan aur sambandhiyoan mean, santoan mean aur papiyoan mean ek-sa bhav rahata hai, use adhik achchha mana jata hai. ek path-bhed hai-’vishishyate’ ke sthan par ’vimuchyate’. gita par shankarachary ki tika. is yog ko kaise prapt kiya jae?sharir aur man ki satat jagarookata avashyak hai

10.yogi yujjit satatamatmaann rahasi sthitah .
ekaki yatachittatma nirashiraparigrahah ॥

yogi ko chahie ki vah ekant mean akela baithakar apane-ap ko vash mean rakhate hue, sab ichchhaoan se mukt hokar aur kisi bhi parigrah (dhan-sampatti ya saj-saman) ki kamana n karate hue apane man ko (paramatma mean) ekagr kare. yahaan par guru ne patanjali ke yogasootr ki paddhati par man ko anushasan mean rakhane ki vidhi ka vikas kiya hai. isaka mukhy prayojan hamari chetana ko usaki sadharan jagritavastha se uchchatar star tak itana uthate jana hai ki vah bhagavanh ke sath sanyukt ho jae. sadharanataya manaviy man bahirmukh hota hai.jivan ke yantrik aur bhautik pakshoan mean tallin rahane ke phalasvaroop chetana ek visantulit dasha mean pahuanch jati hai. yog chetana ke antarik sansar ki khoj ka prayatn karata hai aur chetan tatha avachetan ko sangathit karane mean sahayata karata hai. hamean apane man ko aindriy ichchhaoan se shoony kar dena chahie, bahm vishayoan se apane dhyan ko hata lena chahie aur use upasana ke lakshy mean laga dena chahie.[1]dekhie bhagavadgita, 18, 72 jahaan guru ne arjun se poochha hai ki kya usane usake upadesh ko ekagrachitt hokar suna hai; ekagren chetasa. kyoan ki isaka uddeshy drishti ki pavitrata prapt karana hai, isalie isake nitti man ki sookshyamata aur sthirata ki avashyakata hoti hai. hamara vartaman vistar hi hamare astitv ki charamasima nahian hai. apane man ki sab oorjaoan ko jagakar aur unhean ekagr karake ham sambandh ke star ko anubhavagamy se vastavik tak, avalokan se darshan tak oopar uthate haian aur atma ko apane sampoorn astitv par adhikar kar lene dete haian. buk aph pravarbjah (kahavatoan ki pustak) mean yah kaha gaya hai ki ’’manushy ki aatma paramatma ki mashal hai.’’ manushy ke antarikatam astitv mean aisi koee vastu hai, jise paramatma dipashikha ke roop mean jala sakata hai.
satatamh: nirantar. abhyas nirantar kiya jana chahie. kabhi-kabhi bich-bich mean yogabhyas karane lagane ka koee labh nahian hai. uchchatar aur tivratar prakar ki chetana vikasit karane ke lie ek aviram srijanatmak prayatn ki avashyakata hai.
rahasi: ekant mean. sadhak ko koee aisa shant sthan chunana chahie, jahaan ki prakritik vatavaran shantidayak ho; jaise nadi ka kinara ya parvat ka shikhar, jo hamare hriday aur man ko ooancha uthae. is sansar mean, jo dinodin adhikadhik kolahalapoorn hota ja raha hai, sabhy manushy ka yah karttavy hai ki vah vicharapoorn shanti ke lie kuchh thode़-se kshan nikale. tulana kijieah ’’jab too prarthana karane lage, tab apani kothari mean ghus ja aur daravaja band kar le.’’[2] hamean ekant sthan mean chale jana chahie or bahy vikshepakari vastuoan ko door kar dena chahie. origain dvara likhit adi-tapasviyoan ke varnan se tulana kijie: ’’ve marubhoomi mean nivas karate the, jahaan vayu adhik shuddh thi, akash adhik khula tha aur paramatma adhik nikat tha.’ekaki: akela. guru is bat par agrah karata hai ki us halke-se dabav ko anubhav karane ke lie, us shant svar ko sunane ke lie sadhak ko akela hona chahie.
yatachittatma: atmavashi. use uttejit, pareshan ya chintit nahian hona chahie. paramatma ke sammukh shant rahana sikhane ka arth hai- niyantran aur anushasan ka jivan. shankarachary aur shridhar ke matanusar yahaan ’atma’ shabd ka prayog deh ya sharir ke arth mean kiya gaya hai. apane dainik kagaj-patroan ya vyavasay ki patravaliyoan ko sath lekar upasana ki kothari mean ghusane ka koee labh nahian hai. yadi ham unake kagaj-patroan ko bahar chho d jaean aur daravajoan aur khi dakiyoan ko band kar lean, tab bhi ho sakata hai ki ham apani chintaoan aur pareshaniyoan ko band kar lean, tab bhi ho sakata hai ki ham apani chintaoan aur pareshaniyoan ke karan ashant rahean. vahaan kisi prakar ki ashanti ya kshobh nahian hona chahie. vicharoan dvara ham buddhi ko prabhavit karate haian; maun dvara ham astitv ki gaharaiyoan vali tahoan ko sparsh karate haian. yadi hriday mean paramatma ko darshan aur jnan keval pavitr hriday dvara hi hota hai. hamean gambhir nistabdhata mean baith jana chahie aur prakash ki pratiksha karani chahie. ’’apane pita (paramatma) ke sath, jo ki ekant mean hai, alap karo.’’ paramatma ki sajiv vidyamanata maun mean pratyek atma mean usaki kshamata aur avashyakata ke anusar prakat hoti hai.[3]
