atmanyev ch santushtastasy karyan n vidyate॥
parantu jo manushy keval atm mean annad anubhav karata hai,jo atm se santusht hai aur atm se tript hai,usake lie koee aisa kary nahian hai,jise karana avashyak ho. vah kartavy ki bhavana se mukt ho jata hai. vah kartavy ki bhavana se ya apane astitv ke pragatishil roopantaran ke lie kary nahian karata, apitu isalie kary karata hai ki usaka poornata ko prapt svabhav karm mean svatah pravritt ho jata hai.
 
18.naiv tasy kritenartha nakriteneh kashchan .

isi prakar is sansar mean usake lie koee aisi vastu nahian rahati, jo un karmoan dvara prapt honi ho, jo usane kie haian ya un karmoan un karmaan dvara prapt honi ho, jo usane nahian kie haian. vah kisi bhi prani par apane kisi svarth ke lie nirbhar nahian rahata. agale shlok mean yah bataya gaya hai ki bhale mukt manushy ke lie karm ya akarm dvara prapt karane ko kuchh nahian rahata aur vah atm mean sthit hokar aur usaka anand lete hue poornataya sukhi rahata hai, phir bhi nishkam karm nam ki ek aisi vastu hai, jise vah sansar ke kalyan ke lie karata rahata hai.

19.tasmadasaktah satatan-karyan karm samachar.
asakto hyacharankarm paramapnoti poorushah ॥
isalie too anasakt hokar sada karane yogy karm karata rah; kyoanki anasakt rahakar karm karata hua manushy sarvochch (param) ko prapt karata hai. yahaan par asaktirahit hokar kie ge kary ko yajn ki bhavana se kie ge kary ki apeksha ooancha batalaya gayahai. yajn ki bhavana se kiya gaya kary apane-ap mean svarth -bhavana se kie ge kary ki apeksha adhik achchha hota hai. mukt atmaean bhi avasar p dane par kary karati haian. [1] jahaan is shlok mean kaha gaya hai ki manushy anasakt hokar karm karata hua sarvochch bhagavanh paramh tak pahuanchata hai, vahaan shankarachary ka mat hai ki karm man ko shuddh karane mean sahayak hota hai aur man ki shuddhata ke phalasvaroop mukti hoti hai. karm hamean man ki shuddhata ki prapti dvara apratyaksh roop se poornata tak le jata hai.
