arjun ke prashnoan ka krishn dvara uttar dena

arjun ne kaha- he purushottam! vah brahm kya hai? adhh‍yatm kya hai? karm kya hai? adhibhoot nam se kya kaha gaya hai aur adhidaiv kisako kahate haian? he madhusoodan! yahaan adhiyajn kaun hai? aur vah is sharir mean kaise hai? t‍tha yuktachitt vale purushoan dvara ant samay-mean ap kis prakar janane mean ate hai?

shribhagavanh ne kaha- he arjun! param akshar ‘brahm’ hai,[2] apana svaroop arthath jivatma ‘adhh‍yatm’[3] nam se kaha gaya hai tatha bhootoan ke bhav ko utpann karane vala jo tyag hai,[4] vah ‘karm’ nam se kaha gaya hai. utpatti-vinashadharm[5] vale sab padarth adhibhoot haian, hiranh‍yamay purush adhidaiv[6] aur he dehadhariyoan mean shreshh‍th arjun! is sharir mean maian vasudev hi antaryamiroop se adhiyajn hooan.[7] jo purush antakal mean bhi mujh ko hi smaran karata hua sharir ko tyag kar jata hai, vah mere sakshat svaroop ko prapt hota hai[8]- isamean kuchh bhi sanshay nahian hai.[9]

sambandh- yahaan yah bat kahi gayi ki bhagavanh ka smaran karate hue marane vala bhagavanh ko hi prapt hota hai. is par yah jijnasa hoti hai ki keval bhagavanh ke smaran ke sambandh mean hi yah vishesh niyam haian ya sabhi ke sambandh hai is par kahate haian.[1] he kuntiputr arjun! yah manushh‍y antakal mean jis-jis bhi bhav ko[10] smaran karata hua sharir ka tyag karata hai, us us ko hi prapt hota hai kyoanki vah sada usi bhav se bhavit raha hai[11] isaliye he arjun! too sab samay mean nirantar mera smaran kar aur yuddh bhi kar.[12] is prakar mujhamean arpan kiye hue man buddhi se yukt hokar[13] too ni:sandeh mujhako hi prapt hoga. he parth! yah niyam hai ki parameshh‍var ke dhh‍yan ke abhh‍yas-roop yog se yukt,[14] doosari or n jane vale chitt se nirantar chintan karata hua manushh‍y param prakash svaroop divy purush ko arthath parameshh‍var ko hi prapt hota hai.[15] jo purush sarvajn, anadi, sabake niyanta,[16] sookshh‍m se bhi ati sookshh‍m, sabake dharan-poshan karane vale, chintyasvaroop, soory ke sudrish nity chetan prakash roop aur avidya se ati pare, shuddh sachchiadanandaghan parameshh‍var ka smaran karata hai, vah bhakti yukt purush antakal mean bhi yogabal se bhrikuti-ke madhh‍y mean pran ko achchhi prakar sthapit karake phir nishchal man se smaran karata hua us divyasvaroop param purush paramatma ko hi prapt hota hai.

sambandh- paanchavean shh‍lok mean bhagavanh ka chintan karate-karate marane vale sadharan manushh‍y ko gati ka sankshep mean varnan kiya gaya, phir athavean se dasavean shh‍loank tak bhagavanh ka ‘adhiyajn’ namak sagun nirakar divy avyakt svaroop ka chintan karane vale yogiyoan ki antakalin gati ke sambandh mean batalaya, ab gyarahavean shh‍lok se terahavean tak param akshar nirgun nirakar parabrahm ki upasana karane-vale yogiyoan ki antakalin gati ka varnan karane ke liye pahale us akshar 'brahm' ki prashansa karake use batalate haian. ved ke janane vale vidvanh jis sachchidanandaghanaroop param-pad ko avinashi kahate haian,[17] asakti rahit yatnashil, sannyasi mahatmajan jisamean pravesh karate haian aur jis paramapad ko chahane vale brahmachari log brahmachary ka acharan karate haian, us param pad ko maian tere liye sankshep mean kahooanga.[18] yahaan bhagavanh ne yah pratijna ki hai ki uparyukt vakyoan mean jis parabrahm paramatma ka nirdesh kiya gaya hai, vah brahm kaun hai aur antakal mean kis prakar sadhan karane vala manushh‍y usako prapt hota hai- yah bat maian tumhean sankshep se kahooanga.[19]


sab indriyoan ke dvaroan ko rokakar[20] tatha man ko hridesh mean sthir karake,[21] phir us jite hue man ke dvara pran ko mastak-mean sthapit karake, paramatma sambandhi yog dharana mean sthit hokar jo purush ‘ooan’ is ek akshar roop brahm ko uchcharan karata hua aur usake arthasvaroop mujh nirgun brahm ka chintan karata hua sharir ko tyagakar jata hai, vah purush param gati ko prapt hota hai.[22] he arjun! jo purush mujhamean annayachitt[23] hokar sada hi nirantar mujh purushottam[24] ko smaran karata hai, us nity-nirantar mujhamean yukt hue yogi ke liye maian sulabh huan, arthath use sahaj hi prapt ho jata huan.[25] param siddhi ko prapt mahatmajan[26] mujhako prapt hokar du:khoan ke ghar evan kshanabhangur[27] punarjanm ko nahian prapt hote.

sambandh- bhagavatprapt mahatma purushoan ka punarjanm nahian hota- is kathan se yah prakat hota hai ki doosare jivoan ka punarjanm hota hai. at: yahaan yah janane ki ichchha hoti hai ki kis lok tak pahuanche hue jivoan ko vapas lautana p data hai. is par bhagavanh kahate haian- he arjun! brahmalokaparyant[28] sab lok punaravarti[29] haian, parantu he kuntiputr! mujhako prapt hokar punarjanm nahian hota kyoanki maian kalatit hooan aur ye sab brahmadi ke lok kal ke dvara simit hone se anity haian. brahma ka jo ek din hai, usako ek hajar chaturyugi tak ki avadhivala aur ratri ko bhi e‍k hajar chaturyugi tak ki avadhivali jo purush tattv se janate haian,[30]ve yogijan kal ke tattv ko janane vale haian. sampoorn charachar bhootagan brahma ke din ke pravesh kal mean avyakt se arthath brahma ke sookshh‍m sharir se utpann hote haian[31] aur brahma ki ratri ke pravesh kal mean us avyakt namak brahma ke sookshh‍m sharir mean hi lin ho jate haian.[32][33] utpann ho-hokar prakriti ke vash mean hua ratri ke pravesh kal mean lin hota hai aur din ke pravesh kal mean phir utpann hota hai[34] sambandh- brahma ki ratri ke arambh mean jis avyakt mean samast bhut lin hote haian aur din ka arambh hote hi jisase utpann hote haian vahi avyakt sarvashreshh‍th hai ya usase badhakar koee doosara aur hai? is jijnasa par kahate hai. us avyakt se bhi ati pare doosara arthath vilakshan aur sanatan avyakt bhav hai, vah param divy purush sab bhootoan ke nashh‍t hone par bhi nahian hota.[35]

sambandh- athavean aur dasavean shh‍lokoan mean adhiyajn ki upasana ka phal param divy purush ki prapti, terahavean shh‍lok mean param akshar nirgun brahm ki upasana ka phal param gati ki prapti or chaudahavean shh‍lok mean sagun-sakar bhagavanh shrikrishh‍n ki upasana ka phal bhagavanh ki prapti batalaya gaya hai. isase tinoan mean kisi prakar ke bhed ka bhram n ho jay, is uddeshh‍y se ab sab ki ekata ka pratipadan karate hue unaki prapti ke bad punarjanm ka abhav dikhalate haian-jo avyakt ‘akshar’[36] is nam se kaha gaya hai, usi akshar namak avyakt bhav ko param gati[37] kahate haian t‍tha jis sanatan avyakt bhav ko prapt hokar manushh‍y vapas nahian ate, vah mera param dham haian.[38] he parth! jis paramatma ke antargat sarvabhoot haian aur jis sachchidanandaghan paramatma se yah sab jagat paripoorn haian,[39] vah sanatan avyakt param purush to ananyabhakti se hi prapt hone yogy hai.[40]

  2. akshar ke sath ‘param’ visheshan dekar bhagavanh yah batalate haian ki gita ke satavean adhh‍yay ke untisavean shh‍lok mean prayukt ‘br‍hm’ shabd nirgun nirakar sachchidanandaghan paramatma ka vachak hai ved, brahma aur prakriti adi ka nahian.
  3. ’svoan bhav: svabhav:’ is vyutpatti ke anusar apane hi bhav ka nam svabhav hai. jivaroopa bhagavanh ki chetan para prakriti roop atmatattv hi jab atm-shabdavachy sharir, indriy, man-buddhiyadiroop apara prakriti ka adhishh‍thata ho jata hai, tab‍ use ‘adhh‍yatm’ kahate haian. at evan gita ke satavean adhh‍yay ke untisavean shh‍lok mean bhagavanh mean ‘kritstr’ visheshan ke sath jo ‘adhh‍yatm’ shabd ka prayog kiya hai, usaka arth ‘chetan jivasamuday’ samajhana chahiye.
  4. ’bhoot’ shabd charachar praniyoan ka vachak hai. in bhootoan ke bhav ka udbhav aur abhh‍yuday jis tyag se hota hai, jo srishti-sthiti ka adhar hai, us ‘tyag’ ka nam hi karm hai. mahapralay mean vishh‍v ke samast prani apane-apane karm-sanskaroan ke sath bhagavanh mean vilin ho jate haian. phir srishti ke adi mean bhagavanh jab yah sankalp karate haian ki ‘maian ek hi bahut ho jaooan’ tab pun: unaki utpatti hoti haian. bhagavanh ka yah ‘adi san‍kalp’ hi achetan pr‍kriti roop yoni mean chetanaroop bij ki sthapana karana hai. yahi mahanh visarjan hai aur isi visarjan (tyag) ka nam ‘visarg’ hai.
  5. apara prakriti aur usake parinam se utpann jo vinashashil tattv hai, jisaka pratikshan kshay hota hai, usaka nam ‘ksharabhav’ hai. isi ko gita ke terahavean adhh‍yay mean ‘kshetr’ (sharir) ke nam se aur pandrahavean adhh‍yay mean ‘kshar’ purush ke nam se kaha gaya hai.
  6. ‘purush’ shabd yahaan ‘pratham purush’ ka vachak hai isi ko sootratma, hiranh‍yagarbh, prajapati ya brahma kahate haian. jad-chetanatmak sampoorn vishh‍v ka yahi pran purush hai, samast devata isi ke ang haian, yahi sab ka adhishh‍thata, adhipati aur utpadak hai isi se isaka nam ‘adhidaiv’ hai.
  7. arjun do batean poochhi thian- ‘adhiyajn’ kaun hai? aur vah is sharir mean kaise hai? donoan prashh‍noan ka bhagavanh ne ek hi sath uttar de diya hai. bhagavanh hi sab yajnoan ke bhokta aur prabhu haian (gita 5/ 29;9/ 24) aur samast phaloan ka vidhan ve hi karate haian (gita 7/22) tatha ve hi antaryamiroop se sab ke aandar vyapak haian isaliye ve kahate haian ki ‘is sharir mean antaryamiroop se adhiyajn maian svayan hi hooan.’
  8. yahaan antakal ka vishesh mahattv prakat kiya gaya hai, at: bhagavanh ke kahane ka yahaan yah bhav he ki jo sada-sarvada mera ananyachintan karate haian unaki to bat hi kya hai, jo is manushh‍y-janm ke antim kshan tak bhi mera chintan karate hue sharir tyagakar jate haian, unako bhi meri prapti ho jati hai.
  9. antakal mean bhagavanh ka smaran karane vala manushh‍y kisi bhi desh aur kisi bhi kal mean kyoan n mare evan pahale ke usake acharan chahe jaise bhi kyoan n rahean hoan, use bhagavanh ki prapti ni:sandeh ho jati hai. isamean jara bhi shanka nahian hai.
  10. eeshvar, devata, manushh‍y, pashu, pakshi, kit, pantag, vriksh, makan, jamin adi jitane bhi chetan aur j d padarth haian, un sabaka nam ‘bhav’ hai. antakal mean kisi bhi padarth ka chintan karana, us bhav ka smaran karana hai.
  11. antakal mean pray: usi bhav ka smaran hota hai jis bhav se chitt sada bhavit hota hai. poorv sanskar, sang, vatavaran, asakti, kamana, bhay aur adhh‍yayan adi ke prabhav se manushh‍y jis bhav ka bar-bar chintan karata hai, vah usi se bhavit ho jata hai tatha marane ke bad sookshh‍m roop se ant:karan mean ankit hue us bhav se bhavit hota-hota samay par us bhav ko poornataya prapt ho jata hai. kisi manushh‍y ka chhayachitr (photo) lete samay jis kshan photo (chitr) khiancha jata haian, us kshan mean vah manushh‍y jis prakar se sthit hota hai, usaka vaisa hi chitr utar jata hai; usi prakar antakal mean manushh‍y jaisa chintan karata hai, vaise hi roop ka photo usake ant:karan mean ankit ho jata hai. usake bad photo ki bhaanti any sahakari padartho ki sahayata pakar us bhav se bhavit hota hua vah samay par sthoolaroop ko prapt ho jata hai.
    yahaan ant:karan hi kaimare ka plet hai, usamean hone vala smaran hi pratibimb hai aur any sookshh‍m sharir ki prapti hi chitr khianchana hai atev jaise chitr lene vala sabako savadhan karata hai aur usaki bat n manakar idhar-udhar hilane-dulane se chitr big d jata hai, vaise hi sampoorn praniyoan ka chitr utarane vale bhagavanh manushh‍y ko savadhan karate hai ‘tumhara photo utarane ka samay atyant samip hai, pata nahian vah antim kshan kab a jay; isaliye tum savadhan ho jao, nahian to chitr big d jayaga.’ yahaan nirantar paramatma ke svaroop ka chintan karana hi savadhan hona hai aur paramatma ko chho dakar any kisi ka chintan karana hi apane chitr ko biga dana hai.
  12. jo bhagavanh ke gun aur prabhav ko bhali-bhaanti janane vala anany premi bhakt hai, jo sampoorn jagath ko bhagavanh ke dvara hi rachit aur vastav mean bhagavanh se abhinn tatha bhagavanh ki kridasthali samajhata hai, use prahlad aur gopiyoan ki bhaanti pratyek paramanu mean bhagavanh ke darshan pratyaksh ki bhaanti hote rahate haian; atev usake liye to nirantar bhagavatsmaran ke sa‍th-sath anyay karm karate rahana bahut asan bat hai tatha jisaka vishay bhogoan mean vairagy hokar bhagavanh mean mukhh‍y prem ho gaya hai, jo nishh‍kam bhav se keval bhagavanh ki ajna samajhakar bhagavanh ke liye hi varnadharm ke anusar karm karata hai, vah bhi nirantar bhagavanh ka smaran karata hua anyany karm kar sakata hai. jaise apane pairoan ka dhh‍yan rakhati huee nati baans par chadhakar anek prakar ke khel dikhalati hai, athava jaise haiandal par poora dhh‍yan rakhata hua motar-draivar doosaroan se batachit karata hai aur vipatti se bachane ke liye raste ki or bhi dekhata rahata hai, usi prakar nirantar bhagavanh ka smaran karate hue varnashram ke sab kam sucharoo roop se ho sakate haian.
  13. buddhi se bhagavanh ke gun, prabhav, svaroop, rahasy aur tattv ko samajhakar paramashraddha ke sath atak nishh‍chay kar lena aur man se anany shraddha-premapoorvak gun, prabhav ke sahit bhagavanh ka nirantar chintan karate rahana- yahi man-buddhi ko bhagavanh mean s‍marpit kar dena hai.
  14. yam, niyam, asan, pranayam, pratyahar, dharana aur dhh‍yan ke abhh‍yas ka nam ‘abhh‍yasayog’ hai. aise abhh‍yas-yog ke dvara jo chitt bhalibhaanti vash mean hokar nirantar abhh‍yas mean hi laga rahata hai, use ‘abhh‍yasayoang yukt’ kahate hai.
  15. isi adhh‍yay ke chauthe shh‍lok mean jisako ‘adhiyajn’ kaha hai aur baeesavean shh‍lok mean jisako ‘param purush’ batalaya hai, bhagavanh ke us srishti, sthiti aur sanhar karane vale sagun nirakar sarvavyapi avyakt jnanasvaroop ko yahaan ‘divy param purush’ kaha gaya hai. usaka chintan karate-karate use yathartharoop mean janakar usake sath tadroop ho jana hi usako prapt hona hai.
  16. parameshh‍var antaryamiroop se sab praniyoan ke shubh aur ashubh karm ke anusar shasan karane vale hone se ‘sabake niyanta’ haian.
  17. ved ke janane vale jnani mahatma purush kahate haian ki yah ‘akshar’ hai arthath yah ek aisa mahanh tattv hai, jisaka kisi bhi avastha mean kabhi bhi kisi bhi roop mean kshay nahian hota yah sada avinashh‍var, ekaras aur ekarup rahata hai. gita ke barahavean adhh‍yay ke tisare shh‍lok mean jis avyakt akshar ki upasana ka varnan hai, yahaan bhi yah usi ka prasang hai.
  18. ‘brahmachary’, ka vastavik arth hai, brahm mean athava brahm ke marg mean sancharan karana- jin sadhanoan se brahm prapti ke marg mean agrasar hua ja sakata hai, unaka acharan karana. aise sadhan hi brahmachari ke vrat kahalate haian, sab prakar se viry ki raksha karana bhi inhian ke antargat haian. ye brahmachary-ashram mean ashramadharm ke roop mean avashh‍y palaniy haian aur sadharanataya to avastha bhed ke anusar sabhi sadhanoan ko yathashakti unaka avashh‍y palan karana chahiye.

  20. shrotradi paanch jnanendriy aur vani adi paanch karmendriy- in dasoan indriyoan ke dvara vishayoan ka grahan hota hai, isaliye inako ‘dvar’ kahate haian. isake atirikt inake rahane ke sthanoan (golakoan) ko bhi ‘dvar’ kahate haian. in indriyoan ko brahy vishayoan se hatakar arthath dekhane-sunane adi ki samast kriyaoan ko band karake, sath hi indriyoan ke golakoan ko bhi rok kar indriyoan ki vritti ko antarmukh kar lena hi sab dvaroan ka sanyam karana hai. isi ko yogashastr mean ‘pratyahar’ kahate haian.
  21. nabhi aur kanh‍th- in donoan sthanoan ke bich ka sthan, jise hridayakal bhi kahate haian aur jo man tatha pranoan ka nivas sthan mana gaya hai, hridesh hai aur idhar-udhar bhatakane vale man ko sankalp-vikalpoan se rahit karake hriday mean niruddh kar dena hi usako hridesh mean sthir karana haian.
  22. nirgun-nirakar brahm ko abhedabhav se prapt ho jana, param gati ko prapt hona haian. isi ko sada ke liye avagaman-se mukt hona, muktilabh kar lena, moksh ko prapt hona athava nirvan brahm ko prapt hona kahate haian.
  23. jisaka chitt any kisi bhi vastu mean n lag kar nirantar anany prem ke sath keval param premi parameshh‍var mean hi laga rahata ho, use ‘ananyacheta:’ kahate haian.
  24. yahaan ‘mamh’ pad sagun sakar purushottam bhagavanh shrikrishh‍n ka vachak hai; parantu jo shrivishh‍nu aur shriram ya bhagavanh ke doosare roop ko ishh‍t manane vale haian, unake liye vah roop bhi ‘mamh’ ka hi vachy hai tatha param prem aur shraddha ke sath nirantar bhagavanh ke svaroop ka athava unake nam, gun, prabhav aur lila adi ka chintan karate rahana hi un‍ka smaran karana hai.
  25. ananyabhav se bhagavanh ka chintan karane vala premi bhakt jab bhagavanh ke viyog ko nahian sah sakata tab ‘ye yatha maan prapadyante taanstathaiv bhajamyahamh’ (gita 4/11) ke anusar bhagavanh ko bhi usaka viyog asahy ho jata hai aur jab bhagavanh svayan milane ki ichchha karate haian, tab kathinata ke liye koee sthan hi nahian rah jata. isi hetu se, aise bhakt ke liye bhagavanh ko sulabh batalaya gaya hai.
  26. atishay shraddha aur prem ke sath nity-nirantar bhajan-dhh‍yan ka sadhan karate-karate jab sadhan ki vah parakashh‍tha roop sthi‍ti prapt ho jati hai, jisake prapt hone ke bad phir kuchh bhi sadhan karana shesh nahian rah jata aur tatkal hi use bhagavanh ka pratyaksh sakshatkar ho jata hai- us parakashh‍tha ki sthiti ko ‘param siddhi’ kahate haian aur bhagavanh ke jo bhakt is param siddhi ko prapt haian, un jnani bhaktoan ke liye ‘mahatma’ shabd ka prayog kiya gaya hai.
  27. marane ke bad karmaparavash hokar devata, manushh‍y, pashu, pakshi adi yoniyoan mean se kisi bhi yoni mean janm lena hi punarjanm kahalata hai aur aisi koee bhi yoni nahian hai, jo du:khapoorn aur anity n ho. at: punarjanm mean garbh se lekar mrityu paryant du:kh-hi-du:kh hone ke karan use du:khoan ka ghar kaha gaya hai aur kisi bhi yoni ka tatha us yoni mean prapt bhogoan ka sanyog sada n rahane vala hone se use ashatashvat (kshanabhangur) batalaya gaya hai.
  28. jo chaturmukh brahma srishti ke adi mean bhagavanh ke nabhi kamal se utpann hokar sari srishti ki rachana karate haian, jinako prajapati, hiranh‍yagarbh aur sootratma bhi kahate haian tatha isi adhh‍yay mean jinako ‘adhidaiv’ kaha gaya hai (gita 8/4), ve jis oordhh‍valok mean nivas karate haian, us lok vishesh ka nam ‘brahmalok’ haian. uparyukt brahmalok ke sahit usase niche ke jitane bhi vibhinn lok haian, un sabako punaravarti samajhana chahiye.
  29. bar-bar nashh‍t hona aur utpann hona jinaka svabhav ho, un lokoan ko ‘punaravarti’ kahate haian.
