shribhagavanh bole- arjun jo purush karmaphal ka ashray n lekar[2] karane yoghy karm karata hai,[3] vah sannhyasi tatha yogi hai[4] aur keval agni ka thyag karane vala sannhyasi nahian haian[5] tatha keval kriyaoan ka thyag karane vala yogi nahian haian[6] sanbandh-pahale shrlok mean bhagavanh ne karmaphal ka ashray n lekar karm karane vale ko sannhyasi aur yogi batalaya. us par yah shanka ho sakati hai ki yadi ‘sannhyasi’ aur ‘yog’ donoan bhinhn-bhinhn sthiti haian to uparyukht sadhak donoan se samhpanhn kaise ho sakata hai at: is shanka ka nirakaran karane ke liye doosare shrlok mean ‘sannhyas’ ‘yog’ ki ekata ka pratipadan karate haian- he arjun! jisako sannhyas aisa kahate haian, usi ka too yog jan[7] kyoanki sankalpoan ka tyag n karane vala koee bhi purush yogi nahian hota. yog mean aroodh hone ki ichchha vale mananashil purush ke liye yog ki prapti mean nishhkamabhav se karm karana hi hetu kaha jata haian[8] aur yogaroodh ho jane par us yogaroodh purush ka jo sarvasankalpoan ka abhav haian[9] vahi kalyan mean hetu kaha jata haian.[1]
jis kal mean n to indriyoan ke bhogoan mean aur n karmoan mean hi asakt hota hai, us kal mean sarv sankalpoan ka tyagi[10] purush yogaroodh kaha jata haian. sambandh- paramapad ki prapti mean hetu roop yogaroodh avastha ka varnan karake ab use prapt karane ke liye utsahit karate hooe bhagavanh manushhy ka kartavy batalate haian- apane dvara apana sansar-samudr se uddhar kare[11] aur apane ko adhogati mean n dale kyoanki yah manushhy ap hi to apana mitr hai aur ap hi apana shatru haian.[12] jis jivathma dvara man aur indriyoan sahit sharir jita hua hai,[13] us jivathma ka to vah ap hi mitr hai aur jisake dvara man tatha indriyoan sahit sharir nahian jita gaya hai, usake liy vah ap hi shatru ke sadrish shatruta mean bartata haian[14] sanbandh-jisane man aur indriyoan sahit sharir ko jit liya hai, vah ap hi apana mitr khyoan hai, is bat ko shpashht karane ke liye ab sharir, indriy aur man roop athma ko vash mean karane ka phal batalate haian- saradi-garami aur sukh-du:khadi mean tatha man aur apaman mean jisake aant:karan ki vrittiyaan bhalibhaanti shaant haian, aise shvadhin athmavale purush ke jnan mean sachchidanandaghan paramathma samhyakh prakar se sthit haian arthath usake jnan mean paramathma ke siva anhy kuchh hai hi nahian. jisaka aant:karan jnan-vijnan se tripht hai, jisaki sthiti vikar rahit hai, jisaki indriyaan bhalibhaanti jiti huee haian aur jisake liye mitti, paththar aur suvarn saman haian, vah yogi yukht arthath bhagavath prapht haian, aise kaha jata hai. suhridh, mitr, vairi, udasin, madhhyashth, dveshhy[15] aur bandhuganoan mean, dharmathmaoan mean aur papiyoan mean bhi saman bhav rakhane vala[16] athyant shreshhth hai.[17] sanbandh-yahaan yah jijnasa hoti hai ki jitathma purush ko paramathma ki prapti ke liye khya karana chahiye, vah kis sadhan se paramathma ko shighr prapht kar sakata hai, isaliye dhhyanayog ka prakaran aramhbh karate haian- man aur indriyoan sahit sharir vash mean rakhane vala, asharahit aur sangraharahit yogi akela hi ekaant shthan mean sthit hokar athma ko nirantar paramathma mean lagave.[18][17]
shuddh bhoomi mean,[19] jisake oopar kramash: kusha, mrigachhala or vastr bichhe haian, jo n bahut ooancha haian aur n bahut nicha, aise apane asan ko sthir sthapana kar ke- us asan par baithakar, chitt aur indriyoan ki kriyaoan ko vash mean rakhate hue man ko ekagr karake ant:karan ki shuddhi ke liye yog ka abhhyas kare. kaya, sir aur gale ko saman evan achal dharan karake aur sthir hokar[20] apani nasika ko agrabhag par drishti jamakar, any dishaoan ko n dekhata hua---brahmachari ke vrat mean sthit[21], bharatahitan[22] tatha bhalibhaanti shant ant:karan vala[23] savadhan[24] yogi man ko rokakar mujhamean chittavala[25] aur mere parayan[26] hokar sthit hove.[27]
vash mean kiye hue man vala yogi is prakar atma ko nirantar mujh parameshhvar ke svaroop mean lagata hua[28] mujhamean rahane vali paramanand ki parakashhtha roop shanti ko prapt hoga haian.[29] he arjun! yah yog[30] n to bahut khane vale ka, n bilkul n khane vale ka, n bahut shayan karane ke svabhav vale ka aur n sada jagane vale ka hi siddh hota hai.[31] du:khoan ka nash karane vala yog to yathayogy ahar-vihar karane vale ka[32] karmoan mean yathayogy cheshhta karane vale ka[33] aur yathayogy sone tatha jagane vale ka[34] hi siddh hota hai. atyant vash mean kiya hua chitt jis kal mean paramatma mean hi bhalibhaanti sthit ho jata hai, us kal mean sampoorn bhogoan se spriharahit purush yogayukt hai, aisa kaha jata haian. jis prakar vayu rahit sthan mean sthit dipak chalayaman nahian hota, vaisi hi upama paramatma ke dhhyan mean lage hue yogi ke jite hue chitt ki kahi gayi hai.[35] sambandh- is prakar dhhyanayogi ki antim sthiti ko prapt hue purush ke aur usake jite hue chitt ke lakshan batala dene ke bad ab tin shhlokoan mean dhhyanayog dvara sachchidanand paramatma ko prapt purush ki sthiti ka varnan karate haian. yog ke abhyas se niruddh chitt jis avastha mean uparam ho jata haian,[36] aur jis avastha mean paramatma ke dhhyan se shuddh huee sookhhm buddhi dvara paramatma ko sakshath karata hua[37] sachchidanandaghan paramatma mean hi santushht rahata hai. indriyoan se atit, keval shuddh huee sookshhm buddhi dvara grahan karane yogy jo anant anand haian;[38] usako jis avastha mean anubhav karata hai aur jis avastha mean sthit yah yogi paramatma ke svaroop se vichalit hota hi nahian.[27] paramatma ki prapti roop jis labh ko prapt hokar usase adhik doosara kuchh bhi labh nahian manata[39] aur paramatma prapti roop jis avastha mean sthit yogi b de bhari du:kh se bhi chalayaman nahian hota;[40] sambandh- bisavean, ikkisavean aur baeesavean shhlokoan mean paramatma ki praptiroop jis sthiti ke mahattv aur lakshanoan ka varnan kiya gaya, ab us sthiti ka nam ‘yog’ batalate hue use prapt karane ke liye prerana karate haian. jo du:kharoop sansar ke sanyog se rahit hai tatha jisaka nam yog haian, usako janana chahiye[41] vah yog n ukataye hue arthath dhairy aur utsahayukt chitt se[42] nishhchay poorvak karana kartavy hai.[43] sambandh- ab do shhlokoan mean usi sthiti ki prapti ke liye abhed roop se paramatma ke dhhyanayog ka sadhan karane ki riti batalate haian.

- ↑ yahaan sannyas shabd ka arth hai- sharir, indriy aur manadvara hone vali sampoorn kriyaoan mean kartapan ka bhav mitakar keval paramatma mean hi abhinn-bhav se sthit ho jana. yah saankhhyayog ki parakashhtha hai tatha ‘yog’ shabd ka arth hai- mamata, asakti aur kamana ke tyag dvara hone vali ‘karmayog’ ki parakashhtha roop naishhkarmy-siddhi. donoan mean hi sankalpoan ka sarvatha abhav ho jata haian aur saankhhyayogi jis parabrahm paramatma ko prapt hota hai, karmayogi bhi usi ko prapt hota hai. is prakar donoan mean hi samast sankalpoan ka tyag hai aur donoan ka ek hi phal haian isaliye donoan ki ekata ki gayi haian.
- ↑ apane varn, ashram, adhikar aur sthiti ke anukool jis samay jo kartavy-karm hoan, phal aur asakti ka tyag karake unaka acharan karana yogaroodh avastha ki prapti mean hetu haian- isiliye gita ke tisare adhhyay ke chauthe shhlok mean bhi kaha haian ki karmoan ka arambh kiye bina manushhy naishhkarmy arthath yogaroodh-avastha ko nahian prapt ho sakata.

- ↑ yahaan ‘sankalpoan ka tyag’ ka arth sphuranamatr ka sarvatha tyag nahian haian, yadi aisa mana jay to yogaroodh-avastha-ka varnan hi asambhav ho jay. isake atirikt gita ke chothe adhhyay ke unnisavean shhlok mean bhagavanh ne spashht hi kaha hai ki ‘jis mahapurush ke samast karm kamana aur sankalp ke bina hi bhalibhaanti hote hai, us pandit kahate haian.’ use vahaan jis mahapurush ki aisi prashansa ki gayi hai, vah yogaroodh nahian hai-aisa nahian kaha ja sakata. aisi avashtha mean yah nahian mana ja sakata ki sankalhp rahit purush ke dvara karm nahian hote. isase yahi siddh hota hai ki sankalhpoan ke thyag ka arth shphurana ya vrittimatr ka thyag nahian hai. mamata, asakti aur dvesh poorvak jo saansarik vishayoan ka chiantan kiya jata hai, use ‘sankalhp’ kahate haian. aise sankalhpoan ka poornataya thyag hi ‘sarvasankalhpasannhyas’ hai.
- ↑ manav-jivan ke durlabh avasar ko vhyarth n kholakar karmayog, saankhhyayog tatha bhaktiyog adi kisi bhi sadhan mean lagakar apane janhm ko saphal bana lena hi apane dvara apana uddharakarana hai. rag-dvesh, kam-krodh or lobh-moh adi doshoan mean phansakar bhaanti-bhaanti ke dushhkarm karana or unake phalashvaroop manushhy–sharir ke paramaphal bhagavathprapti se vanchit rahakar pun: shookar-kookaradi yoniyoan mean jane ka karan banana apane ko adhogati-mean le jana hai. manushhy ko kabhi bhi yah nahian samajhana chahiye ki prarabhdh bura hai, isaliye meri unhnati hogi hi nahian; usaka uththan-patan prarabhdh ke adhin nahian hai, usi ke hath mean hai. manushhy apane shvabhav aur karmoan mean jitana hi adhik sudhar kar leta hai, vah utana hi unhnat hota hai. shvabhav aur karmoanka sudhar hi unhnati ka uththan hai ttha isake viparit shvabhav aur karmoan mean doshoan ka badhana hi avanati ya patan hai.
- ↑ jo apane uddhar ke liye cheshhta karata hai, vah ap hi apanamitr hai aur jo isake viparit karata hai, vahi apana shatru hai isaliye apane se bhinhn doosara koee bhi apana mitr ya shatru nahian hai.

- ↑ yahaan jangha se oopar aur gale ke sthan ka nam ‘kaya’ haian, gale ka nam ‘griva’ haian aur usase oopar ke ang ka nam ‘shir’ hai. kamar ya pet ko age-pichhe ya dahinean-bayean kisi or bhi n jhukana, arthath ridh ki haddi ko sidhi rakhana, gale ko bhi kisi or n jhukana aur sir ko bhi idhar-udhar n ghumana- is prakar tinoan ko ek soot mean sidha rakhate hue kisi bhi ang ko jara bhi n hilane-dulane dena- yahi in sabako ‘sam’ aur ‘achal’ dharan karana hai. dhhyanayog ke sadhan mean nidra, alasy, vikshep evan shitoshhnadi dvandv vidhhn mane gaye hai. in doshoan se bachane ka yah bahut hi achchha upay hai. kaya, sir aur gale ko sidha tatha netroan ko khula rakhane se alasy aur nidra ka akraman nahian ho sakata. nak ki nok par drishti lagakar idhar-udhar any vastuoan ko n dekhane se bahy vikshepoan ki sambhavana nahian rahati aur asan se dridh ho jane se shitoshhnadi dvandvoan se bhi badha hone ka bhay nahian rahata; isaliye dhhyanayog ka sadhan karate samay is prakar asan lagakar baithana bahut hi upayogi haian.
- ↑ brahmachary ka tattvik arth doosara hone par bhi viryadharan usaka ek pradhan arth haian aur yahaan viryadharan arth hi prasanganukool bhi haian. manushhy ke sharir mean viry hi ek aisi amooly vastu haian, jisaka bhalibhaanti sanrakshan kiye bina sharirik, manasik athava adhhyatmik- kisi prakar ka bhi bal n to prapt hota hai aur n usaka sanchay hi hota hai; isiliye brahmachari ke vrat mean sthit hone ke liye kaha gaya hai.
- ↑ dhhyan karate samay sadhak ko nirbhay rahana chahiye. man mean jara bhi bhay rahega to ekant aur nirjan sthan mean svabhavik hi chitt mean vikshep ho jayaga. isaliye sadhak ko us samay man mean yah dridh saty dharana kar leni chahiye ki paramatma sarvashaktimanh haian aur sarvavyapi hone ke karan yahaan bhi sada haian hi, unake rahate kisi bat ka bhay nahian hai. yadi kadachitt prarabdhavash dhhyan karate-karate mrityu ho jay to usase bhi parinam mean param kalyan hi hoga.
