idan tu te guhyataman pravakshyamyanasooyave .
jnanan vijnanasahitan yajjnatva mokshyaseashubhath ॥1॥

shribhagavanh ne kaha-“he arjun! maian tumhean vah goodh rahasy phir se batalata hooan jo mere antahkaran ke sabase bhitari sthan ke samast jnan ka adi bij hai. ab yadi tum yah sochate ho ki hriday pho dakar yah rahasy prakat karan ka aisa kaun-sa prasang aya hai, to he buddhimanh arjun! suno. tum astha ki moorti ho. maian jo kuchh kahooanga, tum kabhi usaki avajna nahian karoge. isiliye chahe man ki goodhata bhale hi nasht ho jay aur jo kahane yogy batean nahian haian, ve bhi chahe bhale hi kahani p dean; par phir bhi meri yahi lalasa hai ki mere antahkaran mean jo kuchh hai, vah sab ek bar tumhare antahkaran mean sama jay. than mean doodh bhara rahata hai, par svayan vah doodh than ko svadisht nahian lagata. par jab koee ekanishth vyakti milata hai, tab sahaj hi yah abhilasha hoti hai ki usaki rasasvadan ki lalasa poori ho. yadi ann ke bakhar mean se bij nikale jayan, aur taiyar ki huee bhoomi mean kuchh bij bo diye jayan, to kya koee yah kah sakata hai ki ve bij nirarthak hi gavaan diye gaye? isiliye jisaka man achchha aur buddhi shuddh hai tatha jo anindak aur ekanishth hai, use apane man ki bat prasannatapoorvak batala deni chahiye aur is avasar par mujhe in gunoan se yukt tumhare siva aur koee nahian dikhayi p data; isiliye tumase koee rahasy chhipana uchit nahian hai.

barambar yah ‘gupt’ shabd sunate-sunate tumhare man mean ashchary hota hoga, isaliye ab maian tumhean vijnanasahit jnan ki batean saph-saph batalata hooan. yadi bahut-si shuddh aur ashuddh vastuean ek mean mil gayi hoan, to jaise unhean parakhakar aur chhaant kar hi unake prithakh-prithakh dher lagane ki jaroorat hoti hai, vaise hi maian jnan aur vijnan ki parakh karake unhean prithakh-prithakh tumhare samaksh rakhana chahata hooan athava jaise rajahans apani choancharoopi san dasi se nir aur kshir prithakh-prithakh karata hai; vaise hi maian bhi jnan aur vijnan ko prithakh-prithakh karake tumhean batalana chahata hooan. phir jaise vayu ke pravah mean p da hua bhoosa u d jata hai aur sirph anaj ke danoan ka hi dher avashisht rah jata hai, vaise hi jab samajhadari se jnan aur vijnan ki parakh tatha prithaktv ho jata hai, jab jivan-maran vale sansar ka is nam-roop vale sansar ke sath mel-milap ho jata hai aur vah param jnan hamean moksharoopi lakshmi ke sianhasan par le jakar baitha deta hai.[1]
