tab shrikrishn ne hansakar kaha-“achchha, ab maian tumhari ichchha ke anuroop hi sab kuchh karata hooan. dekho, kisi vyakti ko jab tak santosh ki prapti nahian hoti, tab tak usake chitt mean yahi chinta satati rahati hai ki mujhe kaise sukh ki prapti hogi. parantu jis samay vah santosh mil jata hai, us samay ichchha ki apoornata kahian shesh nahian rah jati. usi prakar sarvashaktimanh sarveshvar bhagavanh ka arjun sevak hai, isiliye vah brahmasvaroop ho jayaga, parantu arjun ke bhagy ki samarthy se shrikrishn kis prakar phalibhoot ho gaye, vah dekho. sahasroan bar janm dharan karane par indradi ko bhi jis paramatma ki shighr prapti nahian hoti, aj vahi paramatma arjun ke itane adhin ho gaya hai ki usaka varnan karana shabdoan ke vash ki bat nahian hai. arjun ne jo brahm hone ki ichchha prakat ki thi usako shrikrishn ne achchhi tarah sun li. us samay shrikrishn ne socha ki isaki buddhi ke garbh mean vairagy ka janm hua hai; aur jaise garbhavati striyoan ke man mean anek prakar ki ichchhaean utpann hoti haian, vaise hi isake man mean bhi brahmatv prapt karane ki ichchha huee hai. vaise to yah vairagyaroopi garbh abhi paripakvata ko prapt nahian hua hai; par phir bhi yah arjunaroopi vriksh vairagyaroopi vasant-rritu ki bahar ke karan ‘soahamh’ bhavaroopi baur se lad gaya hai. us samay shrikrishn ke antahkaran mean yah vishvas hone laga ki arjun itana virakt ho gaya hai ki ab isamean brahmaprapti ka phal lagane mean adhik den n lagega. unhoanne socha ki ab arjun apane man mean jo bhi kary karane ka vichar karega, usaka ise pahale se hi phal prapt ho jayaga. isiliye ab yadi ise yog ke abhyas ka upadesh kiya jayaga to vah vyarth nahian hoga.
