jnanakarm sannyas yog


ajnashchashraddadhanashch sanshayatma vinashyati .
nayan lokoasti n paro n sukhan sanshayatman: ॥40॥

he arjun! jis prani ke man mean is jnan ko pane ki abhilasha n ho, usaka jivan dharan karane ki apeksha mar jana hi uchit hai. jaise uj da hua ghar athava pranashoony deh hota hai. vaise hi jnanashoony jivan bhi sirph bhram se bhara hua hi hota hai athava yadi kisi prani ki aisi avastha ho ki use yah jnan to n mila hua ho, par phir bhi jisake antahkaran mean is jnan ke prati kuchh adarabhav ho, to yah jan lena chahiye ki usake liye yah jnan prapt kar lena sambhav hai. us vyakti ka koee mooly nahian hai jise jnan prapt n hua ho. yadi kisi manushy mean yah jnan bhi n ho aur usake man mean jnan ke prati koee adar bhi n ho, to usake vishay mean yah nirvivadaroop se jan lena chahiye ki vah sanshay ki agni mean bhasmibhoot ho gaya hai.

jab kisi manushy ke man mean apane-ap aisi aruchi utpann ho jati hai ki use amrit bhi nahian bhata, tab nishchitaroop se yahi jan lena chahiye ki usaki mrityu usake sir par mandara rahi hai. isi prakar jo manushy vishayoan ke sukh mean abaddh rahata hai aur jo jnan ke vishay mean beparavah rahata hai, usake vishay mean spasht roop se yah jan lena chahiye ki svayan sanshay ne use achchhi tarah se daboch liya hai aur jo sanshay mean p data hai, usaka sarvanash hi hota hai. vah is lok aur paralok ke sukhoan se hath dho baithata hai. jo bhishan jvar se pi dit rahata hai, use grishm aur shit ke bhed ka pata hi nahian chalata. aisa manushy jis prakar agni aur chandrika-in donoan ko ek saman hi samajhata hai, usi prakar sanshayit manushy ko saty aur asaty, anukool aur pratikool, bhara aur bura, hit aur ahit ka bhed jnat hi nahian ho pata. jaise janm se andhe vyakti ko rat aur din ka pata nahian chalata, vaise hi sanshayit manushy ko bhi kisi bat ka pata nahian chalata. isaliye is sansar mean sanshay se badhakar aur koee ghor pap nahian hai. praniyoan ko pak dakar unake sarvanash ke liye to yah ek jal hi hai. isaliye tum jnan ke abhav mean utpann hone vala yah sanshay chho d do. sabase pahale tumhean keval is sanshay ko hi jitana chahiye. jab ajnan ka aandhera chha jata hai, tab yah sanshay aur balavanh ho jata hai aur shraddha ka marg poornataya avaruddh ho jata hai phir yah itana badhata hai ki antahkaran mean sama hi nahian sakata; vah buddhi ko gras leta hai aur tab shighr hi us manushy ke liye tinoan lok sanshayamay ho jate haian.[1]
