udaharanarth, vajasaneyi sanhita par arthath eeshavash‍yopanishad par bhi uvatachary ka jo bhashh‍y hai, usamean ‘’vidyaan chavidyaan ch’’ is manh‍tr ka vh‍yakhh‍yan karate hue aisa arth diya hai ki ‘’vidya=ath‍majnan aur avidya = karm, in donoan ke ekikaran se hi amrit arthath moksh milata hai.‘’ ananh‍tachary ne is upanishad par apane bhashh‍y mean isi jnan-karm samuchh‍chayath‍mak arth ko sh‍vikar kar anh‍t mean saph likh diya hai ki ‘’is manh‍tr ka siddhanh‍t aur ‘yath‍saankhh‍yai: praph‍yate sh‍thanan tadyogairapi gamh‍yate’[1] gita ke is vachan ka arth ek hi hai ; evan gita ke is shh‍lok mean jo ‘saankhh‍y aur ‘yog’ shabh‍d haian, ve kram se ‘jnan’ aur ‘karm’ ke dyotak haian’’[2]. isi prakar apararkadev ne bhi yajnavalh‍kh‍y-sh‍mriti[3] ki apani tika mean eeshavash‍y ka gh‍yarahavaan manh‍tr de kar, ananh‍tachary ke saman hi, usaka jnan-karm-samuchh‍chayath‍mak arth kiya hai. isase pathakoan ke dhh‍yan mean a javega, ki aj ham hi naye sire se eeshavasayoanpanishad ke manh‍tr ka shankarabhashh‍y se bhinh‍n arth nahian karate haian.

yah to hua sh‍vayan eeshavash‍yopanishad ke manh‍tr ke samh‍banh‍dh ka vichar. ab shaankar bhashh‍y mean jo ‘’tapasa kalh‍mashan hanti vidyayaamritamashh‍nute‘’ yah manu ka vachan diya hai, usaka bhi tho da sa vichar karate haian. manush‍mriti ke barahavean adhh‍yay mean yah 104 namh‍bar ka shh‍lok hai; aur manu.12. 86 se vidit hoga, ki vah prakaran vaidik karmayog ka hai. karmayog ke is vivechan mean-

tapo vidya ch viprash‍y ni:shreyasakaran paramh.
tapasa kalh‍mashan hantividyayaamritamashh‍nute..

pahale charan mean yah batala kar, ki ‘’tap aur (ch) vidya ( arthath donoan ) brahman ko uth‍tam mokshadayak haian,‘’ phir prath‍ye ka upayog dikhalane ke liye doosare charan me kaha hai, ki ‘’tap se dosh nashh‍t ho jate haian aur vidya se amrit arthath moksh milata hai,‘’ isase pragat hota hai, ki is sh‍than par jnan-karm-samuchh‍chay hi manu ko abhipret hai aur eeshavash‍y ke gh‍yarahavean mantr ka arth hi manu ne is shh‍lok mean varnan kar diya hai. haritash‍mriti ke vachan se bhi yahi arth adhik dridh hota hai. yah haritash‍mriti sh‍vatanh‍tr to upalabh‍dh hai hi, isake siva yah nrisianhapuran[4] mean bhi aee hai. is nrisianhapuran[5] mean aur harit sh‍mriti[6] mean jnan-karm-samuchh‍chay ke samh‍banh‍dh mean ye shh‍lok haian-
