manush‍mriti mean bhi sannh‍yas ashram ke badale sab varno ke liye vaidik karmayog hi vikalh‍p se vihit mana gaya hai[1]. yah kahian nahian likha hai ki bhagavatadharm keval kshatriyoan ke hi liye hai; prath‍yut usaki mahath‍ta yah kah kar gaee hai, ki sh‍tri aur shoodr adi sab logoan ko vah sulabh hai[2]. mahabharat mean aisi kathaean haian ki tuladhar (vaishh‍y) aur vh‍yadh (shikari) isi dharm ka acharan karate the, aur unh‍hian ne brahmanoan ko bhi usaka upadesh kiya tha[3]. nishh‍kam karmayog ka acharan karane vale pramukh purushoan ke jo udaharan bhagavat-dharmagranh‍thoan mean diye jate haian, ve keval janak-shrikrishh‍n adi kshatriyoan ke hi nahian, haian, prath‍yut unamean vasishh‍th, jaigishavh‍y aur vh‍yas prabhriti jnani brahmanoan ka bhi samavesh rahata hai. y‍h n bhoolana chahiye, ki yadyapi gita mean karmamarg hi pratipady hai , to bhi nire karm arthath danarahit karm karane ke marg ko gita mokshaprad nahian manati. jnanarahit karm karane ke bhi do bhed haian. ek to damh‍bh se ya asuri buddhi se karm karana, aur doosara shraddha se. inamean damh‍bh se ya asuri marg ko gita ne[4] aur mimaansakoan ne bhi garhy tatha narakaprad mana hai, evan rrigh‍ved mean bhi, anek sh‍thaloan par shraddha ki mahata varnit hai[5].

paranh‍tu doosare marg ke vishay mean, arthath jnan-vh‍yatirikh‍t kinh‍tu shash‍troan par shraddha rakh kar karm karane ke vishay mean, mimaansakoan ka kahana hai ki parameshh‍var ke sh‍varup ka yatharth jnan n ho to bhi shash‍troan par vishras rakh kar keval shraddhapoorvak yajn-yag a‍di karm maran paryanh‍t karate jane se anh‍t mean moksh hi milata hai. pichhale prakaran mean kah chuke haian, ki karmakanh‍d rup se mimaansakoan ka yah marg bahut prachin kal se chala a raha hai. ved-sanhita aur brahmanoan mean sannh‍yas ashram avashh‍yak kahian nahian kaha gaya hai, ulata jaimini ne vedoan ka yahi sh‍pashh‍t mat batalaya hai, ki grihash‍thashram mean rahane se hi moksh milata hai[6] aur unaka yah kathan kuchh niradhar bhi nahian hai. kh‍yoanki karmakanh‍d ke is prachin marg ko gaun manane ka aramh‍bh upanishadoan mean hi pahale pahal dekha jata hai. yadyapi upanishad vaidik haian, tathapi unake vishay-pratipadan se pragat hota hai, ki ve sanhita aur brahmanoan ke pichhe ke haian. isake mani yah nahian, ki isake pahale parameshh‍var ka jnan hua hi n tha. haan upanishad kal mean hi yah mat pahale pahal amal mean avashh‍y ane laga ki moksh pane ke liye jnan ke pashh‍chat vairagh‍y se karmasannh‍yas karana chahiye; aur isake pashh‍chat sanhita evan brahmanoan mean varnit karmakanh‍d ko gaunath‍v a gaya.
