arthat hansi mean, striyoan ke sath, vivah ke samay, jab jan par a bane tattv aur sanpati ki raksha ke liye, jhooth bolana pap nahian hai” [1]. parantu isaka matalab yah nahian hai ki striyoan ke sath hamesha jhooth hi bolana chahiye. jis bhav se sijavik sahab ne, chhote l dake, pagal aur bimar adami, ke vishay mean apavad kaha hai vahi bhav mahabharat ke ukt kathan ka bhi hai. aangrej granthakar paralaukik tatha adhyatmik drishti ki or kuchh bhi dhyan nahian dete. un logoan ne to khullamakhalla yahaan tak pratipadan kiya hai ki vyapariyoan ka apane labh ke liye jhooth bolana anuchit nahian hai kiantu yah bat hamare shastrakaroan ko sammat nahian hai. in logoan ne kuchh aise hi maukoan par jhooth bolane ki anumati di hai, jabaki keval saty shabdocharan[2] aur sarv bhoot hit arthat vastavik saty mean virodh ho jata hai aur vyavahar ki drishti se jhooth bolana aparihary ho jata hai. inaki ray hai ki saty adi niti dharm nity-arthat sab samay ek saman abadhit hai; atev yah aparihary jhooth bolana bhi tho da sa pap hi hai aur isiliye prayashchit bhi kaha gaya hai.

atmahetoah pararthe va narmahasyashrayatatha.
ye mrisha n vadantih te naraah svargagaminah..

“jo log, is jagat mean svarth ke liye, pararth ke liye ya thaththe mean bhi, kabhi jhooth nahian bolate, unhian ko svarg ki prapti hoti hai” [5]. apani pratijna ya vachan ko poora karana saty hi mean shamil hai. bhagavan shrikrishn aur bhishm pitamah kahate haian chahe himalay parvat apane sthan se hat jay, athava agni shital ho jay, parantu hamara vachan tal nahian sakata”[6]. bhartrihari ne bhi satpurushoan ka varnan is prakar kiya hai.
