achh‍chha, bhagavanh ka hi charitr dekho; maloom hoga ki ap prath‍yek yug mean bhinh‍n bhinh‍n avatar le kar is mayik jagath mean sadhuoan ki raksha aur dushh‍toan ka vinash rup karm karate a rahe haian[1]. unh‍hian ne gita mean kaha hai, ki yadi maian ye karm n karooan to sansar uj d kar nasht ho javega[2]. isase yah siddh hota hai, ki jab sh‍vayan bhagavan jagath ke dharanarth karm karate haian, tab is kathan se kh‍ya prayojan hai, ki jnanottar karm nirarthak hai? atev “y: kriyavanh s pani‍dat:”[3]- jo kriyavanh hai, vahi panidat hai- is nh‍yay ke anusar arjun ko nimitt kar bhagavanh sab ko upadesh karate haian, ki is jagath mean karm kisi ke chhoot nahian sakate, karmoan ki badha se bachane ke liye manushh‍y apane dharmanusar praph‍t kartavh‍y ko phalasha th‍yag kar arthath nishh‍kam buddhi se sada karata rahe–yahi ek marg (yog) manushh‍y ke adhikar mean hai aur yahi uttam bhi hai. prakriti to apane vh‍yavahar sadaiv karati rahegi; paranh‍tu usamean kartritv ke abhiman ki buddhi chho d dene se manushh‍y mukh‍t hi hai[4]. mukti ke liye karm chho dane, ya saankhh‍yoan ke kathananusar karm-sannh‍yas-roop vairagh‍y, ki zaroorat nahian; kh‍yoanki is karmabhoomi mean karm ka poornataya th‍yag kar dalana shakh‍y hi nahian hai.

is par bhi kuchh log kahate haian– haan, mana ki karmabanh‍dh to dane ke liye karm chho dane ki zaroorat nahian hai, sirph karm phalasha chho dane se hi sab nirvah ho jata hai; paranh‍tu jab jnan-prapti se hamari buddhi nishh‍kam ho jati hai tab sab vasanaoan ka kshay ho jata hai aur karm karane ki pravriti hone ke liye koee bhi karan nahian rah jata; tab aisi avash‍tha mean arthath vasana ke kshay se-kay-kh‍lesh-bhay se nahian–sab karm ap hi ap chhoot jate haian. is sansar mean manushh‍y ka param purusharth moksh hi hai.

jise jnan se vah moksh praph‍t ho jata hai use praja, samh‍patti athava sh‍vargadi lokoan ke sukh mean se kisi ki bhi “epana” (ichh‍chha) nahian rahati[5]; isaliye karmoan ko n chho dane par bhi anh‍t mean us jnan ka sh‍vabhavik parinam yahi hua karata hai, ki karm ap hi ap chhoot jate haian. isi abhipray se uttaragita mean kaha gaya hai-

jnanamritan triph‍tash‍y kritakrith‍yash‍y yagin:.
n chasti kianchith‍kartavh‍yamasti chenh‍n s tath‍vavith..

“jnanamrit pi kar kritakrith‍y ho janevale purush ka phir age koee karttavh‍y nahian rahata; aur, yadi rah jay, to vah tattvavit arthath jnani nahian hai” (1.23)[6][7].
