jnanakaand arthat upanishadoan ka saph yahi kahana hai ki jab tak brahmath‍maikh‍y ho kar karm ke vishay mean virakti n ho jay tab tak nam roopath‍mak maya se ya janh‍m-maran ke chakh‍kar se chhutakara nahian mil sakata; aur shrautash‍mart-dharm ko dekho to yahi maloom p data hai ki prath‍yek manushh‍y ka garhash‍thh‍y dharm karm-pradhan ya vh‍yapak arth mean yajnamay hai. isake prati rikh‍t vedoan ka bhi kathan hai ki yarthath kiye gaye karm banh‍dhan nahian hote aur yajn se hi sh‍vargaprapti hoti hai. sh‍varg ki charcha chho d di jay: to bhi ham dekhate haian ki brahmadev hi ne yah niyam bana diya hai ki bina devatagan bhi sanh‍tushh‍t nahian hote. aisi avash‍tha mean yajn arthat karm kiye bina manushh‍y ki bhalaee kaise hogi? is lok ke kram ke vishay mean manush‍mriti, mahabharat, upanishad tatha gita mean bhi kaha hai ki:-

anh‍gro prash‍tahuti: samh‍yagadith‍yapupatishh‍thate.
adith‍yajh‍jayate vrishtirvrishh‍tarenh‍nan tat: praja:..

“yajn mean havan kiye gaye sab dravh‍y agni dvara soory se parjamh‍y aur parjanh‍y se anh‍n tatha anh‍n se praja uth‍panh‍n hoti hai”[1]. aur jabaki ye yajn karm dvara hi hote haian, tab karm ko chho d dene se kam kaise chalega? yajnamay karmoan ko chho d dene se sansar ka chakr banh‍d ho jayaga aur kisi ko khane ko bhi nahi milega. is par bhagavatadharm tatha gitashash‍tr ka uth‍tar yah hai ki yajn-yag adi vaidik karmoan ko ya anh‍y kisi bhi sh‍mart tatha vh‍yavaharik yajnamay karmoan ko chho d dene ko upadesh ham nahian karate; ham to tumh‍hare hi saman yah bhi kahane ko taiyar hai ki jo yajn-chakr poorvakal se barabar chalata aya hai usake band ho jane se sansar ka nash ho jayaga; isaliye hamara yahi siddhaant hai ki is karmamay yajn ko kabhi bhi nahi chho dana chahiye [2]. paranh‍tu jnanakanh‍d mean arthat upanishadoan hi mean sh‍pashh‍taroop se kaha gaya hai ki jnan aur vairagh‍y se karmakshay hue bina moksh nahian mil sakata, isaliye in donoan siddhaantoan ka mel karake hamara antim kathan yah hai ki sab karmoan ko jnan se arthat phalasha chho dakar nishh‍kam ya virakh‍t buddhi se karate rahana chahiye[3]. yadi tum sh‍vargaphal ki kamh‍y buddhi man mean rakh kar jh‍yotishh‍tom adi yajn-yag karoge to, ved mean kahe anusar, sh‍varg-phal tumh‍hean nish‍sanh‍deh milega; kh‍yoanki vedajna kabhi bhi jhooth nahian ho sakati. paranh‍tu sh‍varg-phal nith‍y arthat hamesha tikanevala nahian hai, isaliye kaha gaya hai [4]
