ye sab karm ek prakar ke yajn hi mane jate haian aur inh‍hean karane ka karan taittiriy sanhita mean yah batalaya gaya hai, ki janh‍m se hi brahman apane oopar tin prakar ke rrin le ata hai – ek rrishi ka, doosara devataoan ka aur tisara pitaroan ka. inamean se rrishi ka rrin vedabhh‍yas se, devataoan ka yajn se aur pitaroan ka putroth‍pati se chukana chahiye; nahian to usaki achh‍chhi gati n hogi (tai. san.6.3. 10 5)[1]. mahabharat[2] mean ek katha hai ki jarath‍karoo n aisa acharan nahian kiya kinh‍tu vah vivah ke pahale hi ugr tapashcharya karane laga, sab santan-kshay ke karan usake yayavar namak pitar akash mean latakate hue use dekh p de, aur phir unaki ajna se usane apana vivah kiya. yah bhi kuchh niyam nahian hai ki in sab karmoan ya yajn ko keval brahman hi karean. vaidik yajnoan ko chho d anh‍y sab karm yathadhikar striyoan aur shudroan ke liye bhi vihit hai isaliye sh‍mritiyoan mean kahi gee chaturvanary vh‍yavash‍tha ke anusar jo karm kiye jayan ve sab yajn ka yahi vh‍yapak arth vivakshit hai. manu ne kaha ki jo jise liye vihit hai, vahi usake liye tap hai[3]; aur mahabharat mean bhi kaha hai ki :-

aranbhayajna: kshatrashh‍ch haviryajna vish: sh‍mrita:.
paricharayajna: shoodrashch japayajna dvijatay:..

“aramh‍bh (udyog), havi, seva aur jap ye char yajn kshatriy, vaishh‍y, shoodr, aur brahman in char varnoan ke liye yathanukram vihit haian[4]. saraansh, is srishti ke sab manushh‍yoan ko yajn hi ke liye brahmadev uth‍panh‍n kiya hai[5]. phalat: chaturvanary adi sab shash‍trokh‍t karm ek prakar ke yajn hi haian aur yadi prath‍yek manushh‍y apane apane adhikar ke anusar in shash‍trokh‍t karmoan ya yajnoan ko– dhandhe, vh‍yavasay ya kartavh‍y vh‍yavahar ko–n kare to samooche samaj ki hani hogi aur sanbhav hai ki aant mean usaka nash bhi ho jave. isaliye aise vh‍yapak arth se siddh hota hai ki lokasangrah ke liye yajn ki sadaiv avashh‍yakata hoti hai. ab yah prashh‍n uthata hai ki yadi ved aur chaturvanary adi sh‍mart-vh‍yavash‍tha ke anusar grihash‍thoan ke liye vahi yajnapradhan-vritti vihit mani gee hai ki jo keval karmamay hai, to kh‍ya in saansarik karmoan ko dharmashash‍tr ke anusar yatha vidhi ( arthat niti se aur dharm ke ajnanusar ) karate rahane se hi koee manushh‍y janh‍m maran ke chakh‍kar se mukh‍t ho jayaga. aur yadi kaha jay ki vah mukh‍t ho jata hai, to phir jnan ki b daee aur yogh‍yata hi kh‍ya rahi?
