isi bat par dhh‍yan de kar gita[1] mean kaha hai ki in karmoan ke burepan ko door karane ke liye karta ko chahiye ki vah apane man aur buddhi ko shuddh rakhe; aur upanishadoan mean bhi karta ki buddhi ko hi pradhanata di gee hai, jaise:-

man ev manushh‍yanaan karanan banh‍dhamokshayo:
banh‍dhay vishayaansagi mokshe nirvishayan sh‍mritamh..

“manushh‍y ke (karm se) bandhan ya moksh ka man hi (ev) karan hai; man ke vishayash‍kh‍t hone se bandhan, aur nishh‍kam ya nirvishay arthat ni:sang hone se moksh hota hai “[2]. gita mean yahi bat pradhanata se batalaee gee hai ki, brahmath‍mh‍yaikh‍y jnan se buddhi ki ukh‍t samh‍yavash‍tha kaise praph‍t kar leni chahiye is avash‍tha ke praph‍t ho jane par karm karane par bhi poora karm-kshay ho jaya karata hai. niragri hone se arthat sannh‍yas le kar agh‍nihotr adi karmoan ko chho d dene se, athava akriy rahane se arthath kisi bhi karm ko ne kar chupachap baithe rahane se, karm ka kshay nahi hota[3]. chahe manushh‍y ki ichh‍chha rahe ya n rahe, paranh‍tu prakriti ka chakr hamesha ghoomata hi rahata hai jisake karan manushh‍y ko bhi usake sath avashh‍y hi chalana p dega (gi.3. 33; 18. 60).

paranh‍tu ajnani jan aisi sthiti mean prakriti ki paradhinata mean rah kar jaise nacha karate haian, vaisa n karake jo manushh‍y apani buddhi ko indriy-nigrah ke dvara sthir evan shuddh rakhata hai aur srishtikram ke anusar apane hish‍se ke (praph‍t) karmoan ko keval kartavh‍y samajh kar anasakh‍t buddhi se evan shaantipoorvak kiya karata hai, vahi sachh‍cha virakh‍t hai, vahi sachh‍cha sthitiprajn hai aur usi ke brahmapad par pahuancha hua kahana chahiye [4]. yadi koee jnani purush kisi bhi vh‍yavaharik karm ko n karake sannh‍yas le kar jangal mean ja baithe; to is prakar karmoan ko chho d dene se yah samajhana b di bhool hai, ki usake karmoan ka kshay ho gaya[5]. is tath‍v par hamesha dhh‍yan dena chahiye, ki koee karm kare ya n kare, paranh‍tu usake karmoan ka kshay usaki buddhi ki samh‍yavash‍tha ke karan hota hai n ki karmoan ko chho dane se ya n karane se karm-kshay ka sachh‍cha sh‍varoop dikhalane ke liye yah udaharan diya jata hai, ki jis tarah agni se lak di jal jati hai usi tarah jnan se sab karm bhash‍m ho jate haian; paranh‍tu isake badale upanishad aur gita mean diya gaya yah drishh‍tanh‍t adhik samarpak hai, ki jis tarah kamalapatr pani mean rah kar bhi pani se aliph‍t rahata hai, usi tarah jnani purush ko–arthat brahmaparn karake athava asakti chho d kar karm karane vale ko– karmoan ka lep nahian hota[6].
