ukh‍t badha ke siva hath se ath‍m-hath‍ya karana ek karm ho jaega aur usaka phal bhogane ke liye naya janh‍m lene ki phir avashh‍yakata hogi. isase saph jahir hota hai ki dharmashash‍tr ki drishti se bhi ath‍m-hath‍ya karana moorkhata hi hai. karmaphal-bhog ki drishti se karm ke bhedoan ka varnan ho chuka. ab isaka vichar kiya jayaga ki karm-bandhan se chhutakara kaise arthat kis yukh‍ti se ho sakata hai. pahali yukh‍ti karm-vadiyoan ki hai. oopar batalaya ja chuka hai ki anarabh‍dh-kary bhavishh‍y me bhugate jane vale sanchit karm ko kahate haian- phir chahe is karm ko is janh‍m mean hi bhogana p de ya usake liye aur bhi doosara janh‍m lena p de. paranh‍tu is arth ki or dhh‍yan n de kar kuchh mimaansakoan ne karm-bandhan se chhoot kar moksh pane ka apane matanusar ek sahaj marg dhooandh nikala hai. tisare prakaran mean kahe anusar mimasankoan ki drishti se samash‍t karmoan ke nith‍y, naimittik, kamh‍y aur nishiddh aise char bhag hote haian. inamean se sandhh‍ya adi nith‍y-karmoan ko n karane se pap lagata hai aur naimittik karm tabhi karane p date haian ki jab inake liye koee nimitt upasthit ho. isalie mimaansakoan ka kahana hai ki in donoan karmoan ko karana chahiye. baki rahe kamh‍y aur nishiddh karm.

inamean se nishiddh karane se pap lagata hai, isaliye nahian karana chahiye; aur kamh‍y karmoan ko karane se unake phaloan ko bhogane ke[1] liye phir janh‍m lena p data hai, isaliye inh‍hean bhi nahi karana chahiye. is prakar bhinh‍n bhinh‍n karmoan ke parinamoan ke taratamh‍y ka vichar karake yadi manushh‍y kuchh karmoan ko chho d dean aur kuchh karmoan ko shash‍trokh‍t riti se karata rahe, to vah ap hi ap mukh‍t ho jayaga. kh‍yoanki, prarabh‍dh karmoan ka, is janh‍m mean upabhog kar lene se, anh‍t ho jata hai; aur is janh‍m mean sab nith‍y–naimittik karmoan ko karate rahane se tatha nishiddh karmoan se bachate rahane se narak mean nahian jana p data, evan kamh‍y karmoan ko chho d dene se sh‍varg adi sukhoan ke bhogane ki bhi avashh‍kata nahian rahati. aur jab ihalok, narak aur sh‍varg, ye tinoan gati is prakar chhut jati haian, tab ath‍ma ke liye moksh ke siva koee doosari gati hi nahian rah jati. is vad ko ‘karm-mukh‍ti’ ya ‘naishh‍karmy-siddhi’ kahate haian. karm karane par bhi jo n karane ke saman ho, arthat jab kisi karm ke pap-punh‍y ka bandhan karta ko nahian ho sakata, tab us sthiti ko ‘ naishh‍karmh‍y ‘ kahate haian. paranh‍tu vedanh‍tashash‍tr me nishh‍chay kiya gaya hai ki mimaansakoan ki ukh‍t yukh‍ti se yah ‘ naishh‍karmh‍y ‘ poorna riti se nahi sadh sakata[2]; aur isi abhipray se gita bhi kahati hai ki ‘’ karm n karane se naishh‍karmh‍y nahi hota, aur chho d dene se siddhi bhi nahi milati ‘'[3].
