‘ jo jas karai so tas phal chakha' yani jaisi karani vaisi bharani" yah niyam n keval ek hi vyakti ke liye; kiantu kutumb, jati rashtr aur samast sansar ke liye bhi upayukt hota hai aur chooanki pratyek manushy ka kisi n kisi kutumb,jati, athava desh mean samavesh hua hi karata hai is liye use svayan apane karmoan ke phaloan ko bhi aanshat: bhogana p data hai. parantu vyavahar mean pray: ek manushy ke karmoan ka hi vivechan karane ka prasang aya karata hai; i‍salie karm-vipak prakiya me karm ke vibhag pray: ek manushh‍y ko hi lakshh‍y karake kiye jate haian. udaharanarth, manushh‍y se kiye jane vale ashubh karmoan ke munaji ne – kayik, vachik aur manasik – tin bhed kiye haian. vh‍yabhichar, hiansa aur chori– in tinoan ko kayik; katu, mithh‍ya, tana marana aur asangat bolana– in charoan ko vachik; aur par-dravh‍yabhilasha, doosaroan ka apahit-chinh‍tan aur vh‍yarth agrah karana– in tinoan ko manasik pap kahate haian. sab mila kar das prakar ke ashubh ya papakarm batalaye gaye haian[1] aur inake phal bhi kah gaye haian. paranh‍tu ye bhed chirash‍thayi nahian hai; kh‍yoanki isi adhh‍yay mean sab karmoan ke phir bhi–sath‍vik, rajas aur tamas– tin kiye gaye haian aur pray: bhagavadgita me diye gaye varnan ke anusar in tinoan prakar ke gunoan ya karmoan ke lakshan bhi batalaye gaye haian[2]. paranh‍tu karm-vipak prakaran mean karm ka jo samanh‍yat: vibhag paya jata hai, vah donoan se bhi bhinh‍n hai; usamean karm ke sanchit prarabh‍dh aur kriyamana, ye tin bhed kiye jate haian.

kisi manushh‍y ke dvara is kshan tak kiya gaya jo karm hai– chahe vah is janh‍m me kiya gaya ho ya poorvajanh‍m mean– vah sab ‘sanchit’ ka doosara nam aur mimaansakoan ki paribhasha me ‘apoorv’ bhi hai. in namoan ke hone ke karan yah hai ki jis samay karm ya kriya ki jati hai usi samay ke liye vah drishh‍y rahati hai; us samay ke bit jane par vah kriya sh‍varoopat: shesh nahi rahati; kinh‍tu usake sookshh‍m atev adrishh‍y arthat apoorv aur vilakshan parinam hi baki rah jate haian[3]. kuchh bhi ho; paranh‍tu isamean sanh‍deh nahian ki is kshan tak jo jo karm kiye hoan un sab ke parinamoan ke sangrah ko hi ‘sanchit’‘adrishh‍t’ya ‘apoorv’ kahate haian. in sab sanchit karmoan ko ekadam bhogana asanbhav hai, kh‍yoanki inake parinamoan mean se kuchh parash‍par-virodhi arthat bhale aur bure donoan prakar ke phal dene vale ho sakate haian. udaharanarth, koee sanchit karm sh‍vargaprad aur koee narakaprad bhi hote hai; isalie in donoan ke phaloan ko ek hi samay bhogana sambhav nahian hai – inh‍hean ek ke bad ek bhogana p data hai. at:ev ‘sanchit’ mean se jitane karmoan ke phaloan ko bhogana pahale shuroo hota hai utane hi ko ‘prarabh‍dh’ arthat aranbhit ‘sanchit’ kahate haian. vh‍yavahar mean sanchit ke arth mean hi ‘prarabh‍dh’ arthat aranbhit ‘sanchit’ kahate haian. vh‍yavahar mean sanchit ke arth mean hi 'prarabdh' shabd ka bahudha upayog kiya jata hai; parantu yah bhool hai.
