sare vedaantashastr ka rahasy yahi hai, ki netroan ko ya samanyat: sab indriyoan ko gochar hone vale vikari aur vinashi nam-roopatmak anek drishyoan ke phande mean phanse n rahakar jnanadrishti se yah janana chahiye, ki is drishy ke pare koee n koee ek aur amrit tattv hai. is makkhan ke gole ko hi pane ke liye ukt sookt ke rrishi ki buddhi ekadam dau d p di hai, isase yah spasht dekh p data hai ki unaka aantarjnan kitana tivr tha! moolarambh mean arthat srishti ke sare padartho ke utpann hone ke pahale jo kuchh tha, vah sath‌ tha ya asath‌, mrityu tha ya amar, akash tha ya jal, prakash tha ya andhakar?– aise anek prashn karane valoan ke sath vad-vivad n karate hue, ukt rrishi sab ke age dau d kar yah kahate haian ki sath‌ aur asath‌, marty aur amar, andhakar aur prakash, achchhadan karane vala aur achchhadit, sukh dene vala aur usaka anubhav karane vala, aise dvait ki paraspar-sapeksh bhasha drishy srishti ki utpatti ke anantar ki hai; atev srishti mean in dvandvoan ke utpann hone ke poorv arthat jab 'ek aur doosara' yah bhed hi n tha tab, kaun kise achchhadit karata?

isaliye arambh hi mean is sookt ke rrishi nirbhay ho kar yah kahate haian, ki moolarambh ke ek dravy ko sath‌ ya asath‌, akash ya jal, prakash ya andhakar, amrit ya mrityu, ityadi koee bhi paraspar-sapeksh nam dena uchit nahian; jo kuchh tha, vah in sab padarthoan se vilakshan tha aur vah akela ek hi charoan or apani aparampar shakti se sphoortiman tha; usaki jo di mean ya use achchhadit karane vala any kuchh bhi n tha. doosari rricha mean ‘anit’ kriyapad ke ‘an’ dhatu ka arth hai shvasochchhavas lena ya sphuran hona, aur ‘pran’ shabd bhi usi dhatu se bana hai; parantu jo n sath‌ hai aur n asath‌, usake vishay mean kaun kah sakata hai ki vah sajiv praniyoan ke saman shvasochchhavas leta tha aur shvasochchhavas ke liye vahaan vayu hi kahaan hai? atev ‘anit’ pad ke sath hi– ‘avat’= bina vayu ke, aur ‘svadhaya’= svayan apani hi mahima se-in donoan padoan ko jod kar “srishti ka moolattv, j d nahian tha” yah advaitavastha ka arth dvait ki bhasha mean b di yukti se is prakar kaha hai, ki “vah ek bina vayu ke keval apani hi shakti se shvasochchhavas leta ya sphoortiman hota tha!” isamean bahyadrishti se jo virodh dikhaee deta hai, vah dvaiti bhasha ki apoornata se utpann hua hai.
