ant mean atharahave [1] adhyay mean bhagavan ne upadesh kiya hai -‘‘hai arjun! sab praniyoan ke hriday mean jiv roop mean paramatma ka hi nivas hai, aur vah apani maya se yantr ke saman praniyoan ko ghumata hai. ’’ bhagavan ne arjun ko vishvaroop dikhaya hai, vahian narad ko bhi dikhalaya tha. isaka varnan mahabharat ke shantiparvantargat narayaniy prakaran[2] mean hai; pahale prakaran mean ham batala chuke haian, ki narayaniy yani bhagavatadharm hi gita mean pratipadit kiya gaya hai. narad ko hajaroan netroan, rango tatha any drishy gunoan ka vishvaroop dikhala kar bhagavan ne kahaah-

maya hyesha maya srashta yanmaan pashyasi narad. sarv bhootagunairyuktan naivan tvan jnatumarhasi..

‘‘tum mera jo roop dekh rahe ho, vah meri utpann ki huee maya hai; isase tum yah n samajho ki maian sarvabhootoan ke gunoan se yukt hooan.’’ aur phir yah bhi kaha hai ki, ‘‘mera sachcha sh‍varoop sarvavyapi, avyakt aur nity hai; use siddh purush pahachanate haian’’[3]. isase kahana p data hai, ki gita mean varnit, bhagavan ka arjun ko dikhalaya hua, vishvaroop bhi mayik hi tha. saraansh, uparyukt vivechan se is vishay mean kuchh bhi sandeh nahian rah jata ki gita ka yahi siddhant hona chahiye- ki yadyapi keval upasana ke liye vyakt sh‍varoop ki prashansa gita mean bhagavan ne ki hai, tathapi parameshvar ka shreshth sh‍varoop avyakt arthat indriyoan ko agochar hi hai; avyakt se vyakt hona usaki maya hai; aur is maya ke pas hokar jab tak manushy ko paramatma ke shuddh tatha avyakt roop ka jnan n ho, tab tak use moksh nahian mil sakata. ab, isaka adhik vichar age kareange ki maya kya vastu hai. upar diye gaye vachanoan se itani bat spasht hai ki yah mayavad shrishankarachary ne naye sire se nahian upasthit kiya hai, kintu unake pahale hi bhagavadgita, mahabharat aur bhagavat dharm mean bhi vah grahy mana gaya tha.

shvetashvataropanishad mean bhi srishti ki utpatti is prakar kahi gee hai-‘‘mayaan tu prakritian vidyanmayinan tu mahaishvaramh’’ [4] arthat maya ko (saankhyoan ki) prakriti jano aur parameshvar ko us maya ka adhipati, ki jisane apani maya se vishv nirman kiya hai.itani bat yadyapi spasht ho chuki ki parameshvar ka shreshth svaroop vyakt nahian avyakt hai, tathapi tho da sa yah vichar hona bhi avashyak hai ki paramatma ka yah shreshth avyakt sh‍varoop sagun hai ya nirgun. jabaki sagun avyakt ka hamare samane yah ek udaharan hai, ki saankhyashastr ki prakriti avyakt (arthat indriyoan ke agochar) hone par bhi sagun arthat sattv-raj-tam-gunamay hai; tab kuchh log yah kahate haian ki parameshvar ka avyakt aur shreshth roop bhi usi prakar sagun mana jave. apani maya se kyoan n ho; parantu jab vahi avyakt parameshvar vyakt srishti nirman karata hai[5] aur sab logoan ke hriday mean rah kar unase sare vyapar karata hai[6], jab vahi sab yashoan ka bhokta aur prabhu hai.[7]
