anh‍daj, jarayuj, svedaj, udbhij sab ka bij prithvi aur pani hai; yahi srishti-rachana ka adbhut chamatkar hai. is prakar char khani, char vani, chaurasi lakh [1] [2]jivayoni, tin lok, piand, brahmaand sab nirmit hote haian’’ [3]. parantu panjikaran se keval j d padarth athava j d sharir hi utpann hote haian. dhyan rahe ki, jab is j d deh ka sanyog pratham sookshm ianndriyoan se aur phir atma se arthat purush se hota hai, tabhi is j d deh se sachetan prani ho sakata hai. yahaan yah bhi batala dena chahiye ki, uttar-vedantagranthoan mean varnit yah panjikaran prachin upanishadoan mean nahian hai. chhaandogyopanishad mean paanch tanh‍matraean ya paanch mahabhoot nahian mane gaye haian kintu kaha hai ki, ‘tej, ap (pani) aur ann (prithvi)’ inhian tin sookshm moolatattvoan ke mishran se arthat ‘trivritkaran’ se sab vividh srishti bani hai. aur, shvetashvataropanishad mean kaha hai ki ‘‘ajameankaan lohitashuklakrishnaan brahmi: prajaahsrijamanaan saroopaah’’ [4]arthat lal (tejoroop), saphed (jalarooph) aur kale (prithvi roop) rangoan ki arthat (tin tattvoan ki) ek aja bakari se nam roopath‍mak praja srishti utpann huee.

chhaandogh‍yopanishadh ke chhathavean adhyay mean shvetaketu aur usake pita ka sanvad hai. sanvad ke arambh hi mean shvetaketu ke pita ne spasht kah diya hai ki, ‘‘are! is jagat ke aranbh mean ‘ekamevadvitiyan sath’ ke atirikt, arthat jahaan tahaan sab ek hi aur nity parabrahm ke atirikt, aur kuchh bhi nahian tha. jo asat arthat nahian hai, hai usase sath kaise utpann ho sakata hai? atev, adi mean sarvatr sat hi vyapt tha. isake bad use anek arthat vividh hone ki ichchha huee aur usase kramashahsookshm tej (agni) ap (pani) aur ann (pathvi) ki utpatti huee. pashh‍chat in tin tattvoan mean hi jivaroop se parabrahm ka pravesh hone par unake trivritkaran se jagat ki anek nam-roopath‍mak vash‍tuean nirmit huee. sthool agni, soory ya vidyullata ki jyoti mean jo lal lohit rang hai vah sookshm tejo roopi moolatattv ka parinam hai, jo saphed, shukr rang hai vah sookshm ap tattv ka parinam hai, aur krishn kala rang hai vah sookshm prithvi-tattv ka parinam hai. isi prakar, manushy jis ann ka sevan karata hai usamean bhi sookshm tej, sookshm ap aur sookshm ann prithvi - yahi tin tattv hote haian.
