samyavastha mean kuchh bhi halachal nahian hoti; sab kuchh stabdh rahata hai. parantu jab ukt tinoan gun nyoonadhik hone lagate haian tab pravrityatmak rajogun ke karan mool prakriti se bhinn bhinn padarth utpann hone lagate haian aur srishti ka arambh hone lagata hai. ab yahaan yah prashn uth sakata hai ki yadi pahale sattv, raj aur tam ye tinoan gun samyavastha mean the, to inamean nyoonadhikata kaise huee hai? is prashn ka saankhy-vadi yahi uttar dete haian, ki yah prakriti ka mool dharm hi hai[1]. yadyapi prakriti j d hai tathapi vah ap hi ap sab vyavahar karati rahati hai. in tinoan gunoan mean se sattv gun ka lakshan jnan arthat janana aur tamogun ka lakshan ajnanata hai. rajogun, bure ya bhale kary ka pravartak hai. ye tinoan gun kabhi alag alag nahian rah sakate. sab padarthoan mean sattv, raj aur tam tinoan ka mishran rahata hi hai; aur yah mishran hamesha in tinoan ki paraspar nyoonadhikata se hua karata hai; isaliye yadyapi mooladravy ek hi hai to bhi gun-bhed ke karan ek mool dravy ke hi sona, loha, mitti, jal, akash, manushy ka sharir ityadi bhinn bhinn anek vikar ho jate haian.

jise ham sattvik gun ka padarth kahate haian usamean, raj aur tam ki apeksha, sattvagun ka jor ya parinam adhik rahata hai; is karan us padarth mean hamesha rahane vale raj aur tam donoan gun dab jate haian aur ve hamean dekh nahian p date. vastutah sattv, raj aur tam tinoan gun, any padarthoan ke saman, sattvik padarth mean bhi vidyaman rahate haian. keval sattvagun ka, keval rajogun ka, ya keval tamogun ka, koee padarth hi nahian hai. pratyek padarth mean tinoan gunoan ka rag da-jhag da chala hi rahata hai; aur, is jhag de mean jo gun prabal ho jata hai usi ke anusar ham pratyek padarth ko sattvik, rajas ya tamas kaha karate haian[2]. udaharanarth, apane sharir mean jab raj aur tam gunoan par sattv ka prabhav jam jata hai tab apane aantahkaran mean jnan utpann hota hai, saty ka parichay hone lagata hai aur chittavritti shaant ho jati hai. us samay yah nahian samajhana chahiye ki apane sharir mean rajogun aur tamogun bilakul hai hi nahian; balki ve sattvagun ke prabhav se dab jate haian isaliye unaka kuchh adhikar chalane nahian pata[3].

yadi sattv ke badale rajogun prabal ho jay to aantahkaran mean lobh jagrit ho jata hai, ichchha badhane lagati hai aur raj ki apeksha tamogun prabal ho jata hai tab nidra, alasy, smritibhransh ityadi dosh sharir mean utpann ho jate haian. tatpary yah hai, ki is jagat ke padarthoan mean sona, loha, para ityadi jo anekata ya bhinnata dekh p dati hai vah prakriti ke sattv, raj aur tam in tin gunoan ki hi paraspar nyoonadhikata ka phal hai. mool prakriti yadyapi ek hi hai to bhi janana chahiye ki yah anekata ya bhinnata kaise utpann ho jati hai; bas, isi vichar ko ‘vijnan’ kahate haian. isi mean sab adhibhautik shastroan ka bhi samavesh ho jata hai. udaharanarth, rasayanashastr vidyutashastr, padarthavijnan-shastr, sab vividhajnan ya vijnan hi haian.
