in sab batoan ka vichar bhagavadgita mean kiya gaya hai ;aur aant mean, karmayogashastr ki upapatti batalane ke liye yah dikhalaya gaya hai ki moolabhoot paramatmaroopi tattv ke jnan se buddhi kis prakar shuddh ho jati hai. atev is upapatti ko achchhi tarah samajh lene ke liye hamean bhi unhian margoan ka anusaran karana chahiye. un margo mean se, brahanh d -jnan athava kshar-akshar-vichar ka vivechan agale prakaran mean kiya jayaga. is prakaran mean, sadasadvivek-devata ke yatharth svarooph ka nirnay karane ke liye, pind-jnan athava kshetr-kshetrajn ka jo vivechan arambh kiya gaya tha vah adhoora hi rah gaya hai, isaliye ab use poora kar lena chahiye. paanchabhautik sthool deh, paanch karmendriyoan, paanch jnanendriyaan, in jnanendriyoan ke shabd sparsh-roop ras-gandhatmatak paanch vishay, sankalp-vikalpatmak man aur vyavasayatmak buddhi- in sab vishayoan ka vivechan ho chuka. parantu, itane hi se, sharir sanbandhi vichar ki poornata ho nahian jati. man aur buddhi, keval vichar ke sadhan athava indriyaan hai. yadi is j d sharir mean, inake atirikt, pranaroopi chetana arthath halachal n ho, to man aur buddhi ka hona n hona barabar hi- arthath kisi kam ka nahian- samajha jayaga. arthath, sharir mean, uparyukt batoan ke atirikt, chetana namak ek aur tattv ka bhi samavesh hona chahiye.

kabhi kabhi chetana shabd ka arth ’chaitany’ bhi hua karata hai; parantu smaran rahe ki yahaan par chetana shabd ka arth ' chaitany nahian mana gaya hai; baran ’j d deh mean driggochar hone vali pranoan ki halachal, cheshta ya jivitavastha ka vyavahar’ sirph yahi arth vivakshit hai. jis chith-shakti ke dvara j d padarthoan mean bhi halachal athava vyapar utpann hua karata hai usako chaitany kahate haian; aur ab, isi shakti ke vishay mean vichar karana hai. sharir mean driggochar hone vale sajivata ke vyapar athava chetana ke atirikt, jisake karan 'mera-tera’ yah bhed utpann hota hai, vah bhi ek bhinn gun hai. isaka karan yah hai ki, uparyukt vivechan ke anusar buddhi sar-asar ka vichar karake keval nirnay karane vali ek indriy hai, atev 'mera-tera’ is bhed-bhav ke mool ko arthath ahankar ko us buddhi se prithakh hi manana p data hai. ichchha-dvesh, sukh-duahkh adi dvandv man hi ke gun haian; parantu naiyyayik inhean atma ke gun samajhate haian, isi liye is bhram ko hatane ke arth vedaantashastr ne inaka samavesh man hi mean kiya hai.

isi prakar jin mool tattvoan se panchamahabhoot utpann hue haian un prakritirooph tattvoan ka bhi samavesh sharir hi mean kiya jata hai[1]. jis shakti ke dvara ye sab tattv sthir rahate haian vah bhi in sab se nyari hai. use dhriti kahate haian[2]. in sab batoan ko ekatr karane se jo samuchchay roopi padarth banata hai use shastroan mean savikar sharir athava kshetr kaha hai ;aur, vyavahar mean, isi ko chalata-phirata (savikar) manushy-sharir athava piand kahate haian. kshetr shabd ki yah vyakhya gita ke adhar par ki gee hai ; parantu ichchha-dvesh adi gunoan ki ganana karate samay kabhi is vyakhya mean kuchh herapher bhi kar diya jata hai. udaharanarth, shaanti parv ke janak-sulabha-sanvad [3] mean, sharir ki vyakhya karate samay, panchakarmendriyoan ke badale kal, sadasadbhav, vidhi, shukr aur bal ka samavesh kiya gaya hai. is ganana ke anusar panchakarmendriyoan ko panchamahabhootoan hi mean shamil karana p data hai; aur , yah manana p data hai ki, gita ki ganana ke anusar, kal ka aantarbhav akash mean aur vidhi-shukr-bal adikoan ka antarbhav any mahabhootoan mean kiya gaya hai.
