jis prakar, bahar ka mal bhitar lene ke liye aur bhitar ka mal bahar bhejane ke liye kisi karakhane mean daravaje hote hai; usi prakar manushy deh mean bahar ke mal ko bhitar lene ke liye jnanendriy-roopi dvar haian aur bhitar ka mal bahar bhejane ke liye karmendriyaroopi dvar haian. soory ki kiranean kisi padarth par gir kar jab lautati haian aur hamare netroan mean pravesh karati hai, tab hamare atma ko us padarth ke roop ka jnan hota hai. kisi padarth se ane vali gandh ke sookshm paramanu jab hamari nak ke majjatantuoan se takarate haian tab hamean us padarth ki bas ati hai. any jnaneanndriyoan ke vyapar bhi isi prakar hua karate haian. jab jnanendriyaan is prakar apana vyapar karane lagati haian tab hamean unake dvara bahy srishti ke padartho ka jnan hone lagata hai. parantu jnanendriyaan jo kuchh vyapar karati haian usaka jnan svayan unako nahian hota, isiliye jnanendriyoan ko ‘jnata’ nahian kahate, kintu unhean sirph bahar ke mal ko bhitar le jane vale ‘dvar’ hi kahate haian. in daravajoan se mal bhitar ajane par usaki vyavastha karana man ka kam hai. udaharanarth, barah baje jab gh di mean ghante bajane lagate haian tab hamare kanoan ko yah nahian samajhata ki kitane baje hai. jyoan jyoan gh di mean ‘tanh tanh’ ki ek ek avaj hoti jati hai tyo tyoan hava ki laharean hamare kanoan par akar takkar marati hai, majjatantu ke dvara pratyek avaj ka hamare man par pahale alag alag sanskar hota hai aur ant mean in saboan ko jo dakar ham yah nishchay kiya karate haian ki itane baje hai. pashuoan mean bhi jnanendriyaan hoti haian.

jab gh di ki ‘tanh tanh’ avaj hoti hai tab pratyek dhvani ka sanskar unake kanoan ke dvara man tak pahuanch jata hai; parantu unaka man itana vikasit nahian rahata ki ve un sab sanskaroan ko ekatr karake yah nishchit kar lean ki barah baje haian. yahi arth shastriy paribhasha mean is prakar kaha jata hai ki yadyapi anek sanskaroan ka prithakh prithakh jnan pashuoan ko ho jata hai, tathapi us anekata ki ekata ka bodh unhean nahian hota. bhagavadgita [1] mean kaha haiah- “indriyani pararayahuah indriyebhyah paran manah’’ arthath indriyaan (bahy) padarthoan se shreshth haian aur man indriyoan se bhi shreshth hai. isaka bhavarth bhi vahi hai jo oopar likha gaya hai. pahale kah aye haian ki, yadi man sthir n ho to aankhe khuli hone par bhi kuchh dekh nahian p data aur kan khule hone par bhi kuchh sun nahian p data. tatpary yah hai ki, is deharoopi karakhane mean ‘man’ ek muanshi (klark) hai jisake pas bahar ka sab mal jnanendriyoan ke dvara bheja jata hai; aur yahi muanshi(man) us mal ki jaanch kiya karata hai. ab in batoan ka vichar karana chahiye ki, yah jaanch kis prakar ki jati hai, aur jise ham ab tak samanyatah ‘man’ kahate aye haian, usake bhi aur kaun se bhed kiye ja sakate haian, athava ek hi man ko bhinn bhinn adhikar ke anusar kaun kaun se bhinn bhinn nam prapt ho jate haian.
