tathapi, jab indr ka rajy chhin gaya aur prahlad ko trailoky ka adhipaty mila tab us ne devaguru brihaspati se poochha ki “mujhe batalaiye ki shrey kis mean hai’’ tab brihaspati ne rajyabhrasht indr ko brahmavidya arthat atmajnan ka upadesh karake kaha ki “shrey isi mean hai’’-etavachchhey iti- parantu isase indr ka samadhan nahian hua. usane phir prashh‍n kiya “kya aur bhi kuchh adhik hai?’’- ko vishesho bhavet? tab brihaspati ne use shukrachary ke pas bheja. vahaan bhi vahi hal hua aur shukrachary ne kaha ki “prahlad ko vah visheshata maloom hai.’’ tab ant mean indr brahman ka roop dharan karake prahlad ka shishy ban kar seva karane laga. ek din prahlad ne usase kaha ki shil (saty tatha dharm se chalane ka svabhav) hi trailoky ka rajy pane ki kuanji hai aur yahi shrey hai. anantar, jab prahlad ne kaha ki maian teri seva se prasann hooan too var maang, tab brahan- veshadhari indr ne yahi var maanga ki “ap apana shil mujhe de dijiye.’’

prahlad ke ‘tathastu’ kahate hi usake ‘shil’ ke sath dharm, saty, vrit, shri athava aishvary adi sab devata usake sharir se nikal kar indr ke sharir mean ghus gaye. phalatah indr apana rajy pa gaya. yah prachin katha bhishm ne yudhishthir se mahabharat ke shantiparv (124) mean kahi hai. is sundar katha se hamean yah bat saph maloom ho jati hai, ki keval aishvary ki apeksha keval atmajnan ki yogyata bhale hi adhik ho, parantu jise is sansar mean rahana hai usako any logoan ke saman hi svayan apane liye tatha apane desh ke liye aihik samriddhi prapt kar lene ki avashyakata aur naitik hak bhi hai; isaliye jab yah prashn uthe ki is sansar mean manushy ka sarvoth‍tam dhyey ya param uddesh kya hai, to hamare karmayogashastr mean antim uth‍tar yahi milata hai ki shaanti aur pushti, prey aur shrey athava jnan aur aishvary donoan ko ek sath prapt karo. sochane ki bat hai, ki jin bhagavan se badhakar sansar mean koee shreshth nahian, aur jinake dikhalaye hue marg mean any sabhi log chalate haian (gi. 3.23), un bhagavan ne hi kya aishvary aur sampatti ko chho d diya hai?

aishvaryasy samagrasy dharmasy yashasah shriyah .

jnanavairagyayoshchaiv shannaan bhag itirana ..

arthat “samagr aishvary, dharm, yash, sanpati, jnan aur vairagy- in chhah batoan ko ‘bhag’ kahate haian’’ bhag shabd ki aisi vyakhya puranoan mean hai [1]. kuchh log is shlok ke aishvary shabd ka arth yogaishvary kiya karate haian, kyoanki shri arthat sanpattisoochak shabd age aya hai. parantu vyavahar mean aishvary shabd mean sata, yash aur sanpati ka tatha jnan mean vairagy aur dharm ka samavesh hua karata hai, isase ham bina kisi badha ke kah sakate haian ki laukik drishti se ukt shlok ka sab arth jnan aur aishvary inhian do shabdoan se vyakt ho jata hai. aur jabaki svayan bhagavan ne hi jnan aur aishvary ko aangikar kiya hai, tab hamean bhi avashy karana chahiye [2].
