brahman, kshatriy, vaishy, shoodr, sannyasi tatha vidhava aur pativrata nariyoan ke dharm ka varnan nand ji ne poochha- beta! tumhara kalyan ho. ab tum vedoan tatha brahma adi ki utpatti ka sara karan varnan karo; kyoanki tumhare siva maian aur kisase poochhooan? sath hi brahmanoan tatha kshatriyoan, vaishyoan aur shoodroan ka kary karane valoan ke jo dharm haian tatha sannyasiyoan, yatiyoan, brahmachariyoan, vaishnav-brahmanoan, satpurushoan, vidhavaoan evan pativrata nariyoan, grihasthoan, grihasth patniyoan, visheshataya shishyoan aur mata-pita ke prati putroan evan kanyaoan ke jo dharm haian; un sabako batalane ki kripa karo. prabho! striyoan ki kitani jatiyaan hoti haian? bhaktoan ke kitane bhed haian? brahmand kitane prakar ka hai? vadan (boli ya mukh) kis prakar ka hota hai? nity kya hai aur kritrim kya hai? kramashah yah sab batalao. shri bhagavan ne kaha- nand ji! brahman sada sandhyavandan se pavitr hokar meri seva karata hai aur nity mere prasad ko khata hai. vah mujhe nivedan kiye bina kabhi bhi nahian khata; kyoanki jo vishnu ko arpit nahian kiya gaya hai, vah ann vishtha aur jal mootr ke saman mana jata hai. atah vishnu ke prasad ko khane vala brahman jivanmukt ho jata hai. nity tapasya mean sanlagn rahane vala, pavitr, shamaparayan, shastrajn, vratoan aur tirthoan ka sevi, nana prakar ke adhyapan kary se sanyukt dharmatma brahman vishnu mantr se dikshit hokar guru ki seva karata hai; tatpashchat unaki ajna lekar sangravahan (grihasth) banata hai. use guru ko nity-poojan ki dakshina deni chahie tatha niahsandeh nity gurujanoan ka palan-poshan karana chahie; kyoanki samast vandaniyoan mean pita hi mahan guru mana jata hai, parantu pita se sauguni mata, mata se sauguna abhishtadev aur abhishtadev se charaguna mantr-tantr pradan karane vala guru shreshth hai. guru pratyaksharoop mean aishvaryashali bhagavan narayan haian. guru hi brahma, guru hi vishnu aur guru hi svayan shiv haian. sabhi devata guru mean sada harshapoorvak nivas karate haian. jisake santusht hone par sabhi devata santusht ho jate haian, ve shrihari bhi guru ke prasann hone par prasann ho jate haian. guru yadi shishyoan par putr ke saman sneh nahian karate to unhean brahmahatya ka pap lagata hai aur ashirvad n dene se unhean bhi vah phal bhogana p data hai. jo vipr sada apane dharm mean tatpar, brahmajn tatha sada vishnu ki seva karane vala hai; vahi pavitr hai. usake atirikt any vipr sada apavitr rahata hai. jo brahman hokar bailoan ko jotata hai, shoodroan ki rasoee banata hai, devamoortiyoan par chadhe hue dravy se jivan-nirvah karata hai, sandhya nahian karata, utsahahin hai, din mean niand leta hai, shoodr ke shraddhann ko khata hai, shoodroan ke murdoan ka dah karata hai; aise sabhi brahman shoodr ke saman mane jate haian. jo vidhipoorvak shalagram mahayantr ki pooja karake unake arpit kie hue naivedy ko khata hai tatha unake charanodak ko pita hai; vah sanpoorn papoan se mukt ho jata hai. use vishnulok ki prapti hoti hai; kyoanki shrihari ka charanodak pikar manushy tirthasnayi ho jata hai. |
