shri radhakrishn ke prakat svaroopoan[1] ki paricharya ko prakat seva kahate haian. radhavallabhiy paddhati ki seva mean radhavallabhalal ka tribhang-lalit, venuvadan-tatpar svaroop virajaman rahata hai aur unake vam aang mean, ek vishesh prakar se, bhavy vastroan ke dvara shriradha ki ‘gadi’ ki rachana rahati hai, jisamean kanak-patr par likha hua- ‘shri radha’ nam dharan rahata hai. is ‘gadi’ kianva ‘asan’ par hi shri radha ki paricharya mean avashyak dravy dharan karaye jate haian.

sthapayedvamabhage tu preyasya asanan prabhoah.
tadipan paricharyahan dravyan tatraiv vinyaseth..[2]

kaha gaya hai ‘shri radha ke bina n to shri hari ka poojan karana chahiye, n dhyan karana chahiye aur n jap karana chahiye. kyoanki radha ke bina kshanardh mean hi shrikrishn vikal hokar sudh-budh kho baithate haian. isaliye sar betta shuddh yugal upasak ko, shri radha ke sath rah kar hi pramudit rahane vale apane svami ki, sadaiv shri radha ke sath hi seva karani chahiye.’

seva ka aranbh pratah-kal se hota hai. ‘snanadik se nivritt hokar upasak mastak par tilak evan aangoan mean bhagavannamaankit mudra dharan karata hai aur phir bhakti poorn hriday se guru-pradatt mantr ka jap karata hai. isake bad vah apane sevy ke mandir ka sanmarjan karake usako shuddh jal se dhota hai aur seva ke patroan ko maanj kar saph karata hai. tadanantar yugal ka gun-gan karata hua vah unako shayya par se uthata hai aur unake sanmukh jal, kulla karane ka patr evan mukh pauanchhane ke liye svachchh vastr rakhata hai snigdhabhog samagri evan shital jal nivedan karake unako tambool arpan karata hai aur phir shri yugal ki ‘mangala arati’ karata hai. isake bad prabhu ke sharir par sugandhit tel ka mardan karake unako gunagune sugandhit jal se snan karata hai aur svachchh vastr se aang aangochh kar unaka vividh vastrabhooshanoan se shrriangar karata hai. unake mukh par chandan se makari-lekhan[4] karata hai aur unako pushpoan ki vaijayanti mala dharan karakar charanoan mean tulasi arpan karata hai. tadanantar bhog evan jal arpan karake priti poorvak shrriangar arati karata hai aur pramudit man se yugal ki parikrama karake unako darpan dikhata hai. isake bad seva ke aparadhoan ke liye kshama maangata hua, unake marjan ke liye bhagavannam ka jap karata hai. tadanantar vah apane prabhu ke samane rasik mahanubhavoan ke banaye hue padoan ka gan karata hai aur prem poorvak nrity karata hai. in sukh may karyoan se nivritt hokar vah yugal ko vividh prakar ki bhog-samagri arpan karata hai aur tambool arpan karake madhyahn arati karata hai. arati ke bad sugandhit pushpoan ke dvara shayya ki rachana karake apane isht ko us par shayan karata hai aur svayan priti poorvak unaka charan sanvahan karata hai evan pankhe se dhire-dhire hava karata hai.'
