sahaj gita -svami ramasukhadas

atharahavaan adhyay

(moksh sannyas yog)

arjun bole- he mahabaho! he hrishikesh! he keshinishoodan! maian sannyas (jnanayog) aur tyag (karmayog)- ka tattv alag-alag janana chahata hooan. shribhagavanh bole- is vishay mean darshanik vidvoan ke char mat haian-

  1. kee vidvanh sakamabhav se kiye jane vale kamy karmoan ke tyag ko sannyas kahate haian,
  2. kee sanpoorn karmoan ke phal ke tyag ko tyag kahate haian,
  3. kee vidvanh kahate haian ki karmoan ko dosh ki tarah tyag dena chahie, aur
  4. kee vidvanh kahate haian ki yajn, dan aur taparoop karmoan ka tyag nahian karana chahie. he bharatavanshiyoan mean shreshth arjun! sannyas aur tyag- in donoan mean se pahale tum ‘tyag’ ke vishay mean mera nishchay suno. he purushashreshth! tyag tin prakar ka hota hai- sattvik, rajas aur tamas.

yajn, dan aur taparoop karmoan ka tyag nahian karana chahie, apitu unhean n karate hoan to jaroor karana chahie. karan ki yajn, dan aur tap- ye tinoan hi karm vicharashil manushyoan ko pavitr karane vale, anand dene vale haian. he parth! in yajn, dan aur taparoop karmoan ko tatha inake sivay doosare bhi kartavy karmoan ko asakti aur phalechchha ka tyag karake karana chahie- yah mera nishchit kiya hua uttam mat hai.
(tin prakar ka tyag-) niyat[1] karm ka tyag kisi ke lie bhi uchit nahian hai. moh ke karan isaka tyag kar dena ‘tamas’ tyag hai. kartavy-karm karane mean duahkh hi bhogana p data hai- aisa samajhakar sharirik parishram ke bhay se usaka tyag karana ‘rajas’ tyag hai. aisa tyag karane vale ko tyag ka phal- shanti to nahian milati, par dand jaroor milata hai! he arjun! keval apane kartavy ka palan karana hai- aisa samajhakar asakti aur phal ka tyag karake karm karana ‘sattvik’ tyag hai.

  1. shastroan ne jin karmoan ko karane ki ajna di hai, ve sabhi ‘vihit karm’ kahalate haian. un vihit karmoan mean bhi varn, ashram aur paristhiti ke anusar jisake lie jo (jivika aur sharir nirvah sanbandhi) karm avashyak hota hai, usake lie vah ‘niyat karm’ kahalata hai. vihit ki apeksha niyat karm mean manushy ki vishesh jimmevari hoti hai. jaise, kisi ko pahare par kh da kar diya ja jal pilane ke lie pyaoo par baitha diya to yah usake lie niyat karm ho gaya, jisaki us par vishesh jimmevari hai. isalie niyat karm ke tyag ka jyada dosh lagata hai.
