n jayate mriyate va kadachin
nayan bhootva bhavita va n bhooyah.
ajo nityah shashvatoayan purano
n hanyate hanyamane sharire..[1]

bhavarth

atma ke lie kisi bhi kal mean n to janm hai n mrityu. vah n to kabhi janma hai, n janm leta hai aur n janm lega. vah ajanma, nity, shashvat tatha puratan hai. sharir ke mare jane par vah mara nahian jata.

tatpary

gunatmak drishti se, paramatma ka anu-aansh param se abhinn hai. vah sharir ki bhaanti vikari nahian hai. kabhi-kabhi atma ko sthayi ya kootasth kaha jata hai. sharir mean chhah prakar ke roopantar hote haian. vah mata ke garbh se janm leta hai, kuchh kal tak rahata hai, badhata hai, kuchh parinam utpann karata hai, dhire-dhire kshin hota hai aur ant mean samapt ho jata hai. kintu atma mean aise parivartan nahian hote. atma ajanma hai, kintu chooanki yah bhautik sharir dharan karata hai, atah sharir janm leta hai. atma n to janm leta hai, n marata hai. jisaka janm hota hai usaki mrityu bhi hoti hai. aur chooanki atma janm nahian leta, atah usaka n to bhoot hai, n vartaman n bhavishy. vah nity, shashvat tatha sanatan hai – arthath usake janm lene ka koee itihas nahian hai. ham sharir ke prabhav mean akar atma ke janm, maran adi ka itihas khojate haian. atma sharir ki tarah kabhi bhi vriddh nahian hota, atah tathakathit vriddh purush bhi apane mean balyakal ya yuvavastha jaisi anubhooti pata hai. sharir ke parivartanoan ka atma par koee prabhav nahian hota. atma vriksh ya kisi any bhautik vastu ki tarah kshin nahi hota. atma ki koee upasrishti nahi hoti. sharir ki upasrishti santanean haian aur ve bhi vyashti atmaean hai aur sharir ke karan ve kisi n kisi ki santanean pratit hote haian. sharir ki vriddhi atma ki upasthiti ke karan hoti hai, kintu atma ke n to koee upavriddhi hai n hi usamean koee parivartan hota hai. atah atma sharir ke chhah prakar ke parivartan se mukt hai.
