sparshankritva bahirbahyaanshchakshushchaivantare bhruvo:.
pranapanau samau kritva nasabhyantaracharinau॥

yatendriyamanobuddhirmunirmokshaparayanah.
vigatechchhabhayakrodho yah sada mukt ev sah॥[1]

samast indriyavishayoan ko bahar karake, drishti ko bhauanhoan ke madhy mean kendrit karake, pran tatha apan vayu ko nathunoan ke bhitar rokakar aur is tarah man, indriyoan tatha buddhi ko vash mean karake jo moksh ko lakshy banata hai vah yogi ichchha, bhay tatha krodh se rahit ho jata hai. jo nirantar is avastha mean rahata hai, vah avashy hi mukt hai.

krishnabhavanamrit mean rat hone par manushy turant hi apane adhyatmik svaroop ko jan leta hai jisake pashchat bhakti ke dvara vah parameshvar ko samajhata hai jab manushy bhakti karata hai to vah divy sthiti ko prapt hota hai aur apane karm mean bhagavan ki upasthiti ka anubhav karane yogy ho jata hai. yah vishesh sthiti mukti kahalati hai. mukti vishayak uparyukt siddhantoan ka pratipadan karake shribhagavan arjun ko yah shiksha dete haian ki manushy kis prakar ashtaangayog ka abhyas karake is sthiti ko prapt hota hai. yah ashtaangayog ath vidhiyoan– yam, niyam, asan, pranayam, pratyahar, dharana, dhyan tatha samadhi mean vibhajit hai. chhathe adhyay mean yog ke vishay mean vistrit vyakhya ki gee hai, paanchave adhyay ke ant mean to isaka prarambhik vivechan hi diya gaya hai. yog mean pratyahar vidhi se shabd, sparsh, roop, svad tatha gandh ka nirakaran karana hota hai aur tab drishti ko donoan bhauanhoan ke bich lakar adhakhuli palakoan se use nasagr par kendrit karana p data hai. aankhoan ko poori tarah band karane se koee labh nahian hota kyoanki tab so jane ki sambhavana rahati hai. n hi aankhoan ko poora khula rakhane se koee labh hai kyoanki tab to indriyavishayoan dvara akrisht hone ka bhay bana rahata hai. nathunoan ke bhitar shvas ki gati ko rokane ke lie pran tatha apan vayuoan ko sam kiya jata hai. aise yogabhyas se manushy apani indriyoan ke oopar niyantran prapt karata hai, bahy indriyavishayoan se door rahata hai aur apani mukti ki taiyari karata hai.

is yog vidhi se manushy samast prakar ke bhay tatha krodh se rahit ho jata hai aur paramatma ki upasthiti ka anubhav karata hai. doosare shabdoan mean, krishnabhavanamrit yog ke siddhantoan ko sampann karane ki saralatam vidhi hai. agale adhyay mean isaki vistar se vyakhya hogi. kintu krishnabhavanabhavit vyakti sadaiv bhakti mean lin rahata hai jisase usaki indriyoan ke anyatr pravritt hone ka bhay nahian rah jata. ashtaangayog ki apeksha indriyoan ko vash mean karane ki yah adhik uttam vidhi hai.
