uttar- chauthe adhyay mean bhagavanh ne kahian bhi karmoan ke svaroopatah tyag ki prashansa nahian ki aur n arjun ko aisa karane ke liye kahian ajna hi di; balki isake viparit sthan-sthan par nishkam-bhav se karm karane ke liye kaha hai.[1] atev yahaan karm-sannyas ka arth karmoan ka svaroopatah tyag nahian hai. karm-sannyas ka arth hai- ‘sampoorn karmoan mean kartapan ke abhiman se rahit hokar aisa samajhana ki gun hi gunoan mean barat rahe haian,[2] tatha nirantar paramatma ke svaroop mean eki bhav se sthit rahana aur sarvada sarvatr brahmadrishti rakhana[3]’, yahaan yahi jnanayog hai- yahi karm-sannyas hai. chauthe adhyay mean isi prakar ke jnanayog ki prashansa ki gayi hai aur usi ke adhar par arjun ka yah prashn hai. bhagavanh ne yahaan arjun ke prashn ka uttar dete hue ‘sannyas’ aur ‘karmayog’ donoan ka hi kalyanakarak batalaya hai aur chauthe tatha paanchavean shlokoan mean isi ‘sannyas’ ko ‘saankhy’ evan punah chhathe shlok mean isi ko ‘sannyas’ kahakar yah spasht kar diya hai ki yahaan ‘karm-sannyas’ ka arth saankhyayog ya jnanayog hai, karmoan ka svaroopatah tyag nahian hai. isake atirikt bhagavanh ke mat se karmoan ke svaroopatah tyagamatr se hi kalyan bhi nahian hota[4] aur karmoan ka svaroopatah sarvatha tyag hona sambhav bhi nahian hai.[5] isaliye yahaan karm-sannyas ka arth jnanayog hi manana chahiye, karmoan ka svaroopatah tyag nahian. prashn- arjun ne tisare adhyay ke arambh mean yah poochha hi tha ki ‘jnanayog’ aur ‘karmayog’- in donoan mean mujhako ek sadhan batalaiye, jisase maian kalyan ko prapt kar sakooan. phir yahaan unhoanne dubara vahi prashn kis abhipray se kiya? uttar- vahaan arjun ne ‘jnanayog’ aur ‘karmayog’ ke vishay mean nahian poochha tha, vahaan to arjun ke prashn ka yah bhav tha ki ‘yadi apake mat mean karm ke apeksha jnan shreshth hai to phir mujhe ghor karm mean kyoan laga rahe haian? apake vachanoan ko maian spasht samajh nahian raha hooan, ve mujhe mishrit- se pratit hote haian atev mujhako ek bat batalaiye.’ parantu yahaan to arjun ka prashn hi doosara hai. yahaan arjun n to karm ki apeksha jnan ko shreshth samajh rahe haian aur n bhagavanh ke vachanoan ko ve mishrit- se hi man rahe haian. varanh ve svayan is bat ko svikar karate hue hi poochh rahe haian- ‘ap ‘jnanayog’ aur ‘karmayog’ donoan ki prashansa kar rahe haian aur donoan ko prithakh-prithakh batala rahe haian[6] parantu ab yah batalaiye ki in donoan mean se mere liye kaun-sa sadhan shreyaskar hai?’ isase siddh hai ki arjun ne yahaan tisare adhyay vala prashn dubara nahian kiya hai. |
