uttar- isase yah dikhalaya gaya hai ki yadi svadharm-palan mean kisi tarah ki apatti n ave aur jivanabhar manushy usaka palan kar le to use apane bhavanusar svarg ki ya mukti ki prapti ho jati hai, isamean to kahana hi kya hai; kisi prakar ki apatti ane par vah apane dharm se n dige aur usake karan usaka maran ho jay to vah maran bhi usake liye kalyan karane vala ho jata hai. itihasoan aur puranoan mean aise bahut udaharan milate haian, jinamean svadharm palan ke liye marane valoan ka evan maran paryant kasht svikar karane valoan ka kalyan hone ki bat kahi gayi hai. raja dilip ne kshatriy dharm ka palan karate hue ek gau ke badale apana sharir sianh ko samarpit karake abhisht prapt kiya; raja shivi ne sharanagat raksharoop svadharm ka palan karane ke liye ek kabootar ke badale mean apane sharir ka maans baj ko dekar marana svikar kiya aur usase unake abhisht ki siddhi huee; prahlad ne bhagavadaktiroop svadharm ka palan karane ke liye anekoan prakar ke mrityu ke sadhanoan ko saharsh svikar kiya aur isase unaka param kalyan ho gaya. isi prakar ke aur bhi bahut-se udaharan milate haian. mahabharat mean kaha gaya hai- n jatu kamann bhayann lobhadh arthath ‘manushy ko kisi bhi samay kam se, bhay se, lobh se ya jivan raksha ke liye bhi dharm ka tyag nahian karana chahiye; kyoanki dharm nity hai aur sukh-duahkh anity hai tatha jiv nity hai aur jivan ka hetu anity hai.’ isaliye maran-sankat upasthit hone par bhi manushy ko chahiye ki vah hansate-hansate mrityu ko varan kar le; par svadharm ka tyag kisi bhi halat mean n kare. isi mean usaka sab prakar se kalyan hai. prashn- doosare ka dharm bhay dene vala hai, is kathan ka kya abhipray hai? uttar- isase yah dikhalaya hai ki doosare ke dharm ka palan yadi sukhapoorvak hota ho to bhi vah bhay dene vala hai. udaharanarth- shoodr aur vaishy yadi apane se uchch varn valoan ke dharm ka palan karane mean lagean to uchch varnoan se apani pooja karane ke karan aur unaki vrittichchhed karane ke dosh ke karan ve pap ke bhagi ban jate haian aur phalatah unako narak bhogana p data hai. isi prakar brahman-kshatriy yadi apane se hin varn valoan ke dharm ka avalamban kar lean to unaka us varn se patan ho jata hai evan bina apattikal ke doosaroan ki vritti se nirvah karane par doosaroan ki vrittichchhed ke pap ka bhi phal unhean bhogana p data hai. isi tarah ashram-dharm tatha any sab dharmoan ke vishay mean samajh lena chahiye. atev kisi bhi manushy ko apane kalyan ke liye paradharm ke grahan karane ki avashyakata nahian hai. doosare ka dharm dekhane mean chahe kitana hi gunasampann kyoan n ho, vah jisaka dharm hai, usi ke liye hai; doosare ke liye to vah bhay dene vala hi hai, kalyan-karak nahian.[2] |

'gunarahit bhi apana dharm shreshth hai, parantu bhali-bhaanti palan kiya hua par-dharm shreshth nahian hai. kyoanki doosare ke dharm se jivan dharan karane vala manushy jati se turant hi patit ho jata hai.'
